  Hello
  I suffer from the same issue that I found posted anywhere on the internet this morning - my Contacts list is illegible because the text is barely visible, as if the map is too small for the space allowed.

  I have:
  My cache of dumping
  Played with the zoom and CTRL - sets all the text to view, but at this time, it is too small to read.
  Checked the section tools/options/content - minimum size fonts the value 'none', web sites set their own sizes.
  All my browsers / add ons etc are up to date
  It looks fine in IE, but I don't use IE

  What else is there?

  Reset the zoom of page on pages that are causing problems.

• Sticky notes appearing as an icon only. Non-visible text

  I have Acrobat DC 2015.016.20041 and all comments have become not selectable and do not display the text. If I insert a new note of sticky notes, it shows the details but all the 'old' is not visible.

  Post-it notes top note is the new, but others do not. Image 1 below.

  A friend has the document open in another program (not Adobe) and they can see the comments. Image 2 below.

• Hidden/Visible text in saved PDF fields

  I got some very useful tips yesterday on the removal of content from hidden boxes (text fields). I have another related problem that someone would have an answer for. I have text fields that are visible or hidden depending on the selections in the drop-down lists. It works well, but I noticed something strange. When a user fills out the form, saves, closes and reopens TI -all the text boxes are visible. Has anyone go through this? If so - is there some script that I can add to this problem?

  You not save the State of the form. You can do this programmatically, but there is a facility to the designer that will do it for you. If you open the properties of the form on the file menu, and then click the Defaults tab, you will see a section called Scripting. In this section, make sure the radio button "Preserve script changes on for registration" is set automatically on.

• When I reply to a message, there is no visible text and it won't let me type. How can I fix?

  It's as if the account is frozen, but sometimes only. I can click on a received message and it looks like a normal response but it will not any text at all. If I try to type it shows nothing. Sometimes, I turned off the computer and when it comes back it works, but are not currently working. I send a message an ago but cannot respond to anything in my Inbox. Any suggestions?

  Im trying to put three text boxes on the screen.  2 boxes are seized and one is dynamic.  Basically, it adds up the boxes 1 and 2 and displays the result in box 3.  The program works: the numbers are added and displays ok.  The problem is that I can not actually see the boxes when I run the application.  I have to click anywhere on the screen until I can find them.

• How to keep the visible text when you place a chart?

  I'm working on creating a newsletter, and most of the time it is already laid out. Then my mentor and I got the idea to add a background image. (Okay, no biggie right?) Well, when I file-> place the graphic, and then organize-> Send to back to, all my text disappeared. I tried to select text boxes and bring them forward and tried to re - send the background graphic on the back with no luck. Then... of suggestions?

  Seems lik you applied text wrap tto the background graphic. Select and delete the text wrapping.

  Hi, I have the same problem as TSULLY 1981. Move from CS to CS6 on a Mac and can create an empty box with the text tool, but that's it. Any ideas?

  Unger027. Could you share with us the size of the image in pixels? You can see if you go to the menu located at the bottom of your picture, and if you click on the triangle, the size of the document, rather than the size of the document:

  

  As Sandee Cohen has suggested, too big or too small an image could make the invisible text on your image.

  Check the settings of the text tool in the character Panel (window > character), or reset the text tool by right-clicking on its icon in the options bar:

  I, like so many others, can't see the text I type when the use of the typewriter or the tool text box.  Is there a fix yet?

  I saw a post earlier where George (?) said to establish a registry dopacity to "1".  I did, but it keeps defaulting to 0.005.  Is there another setting in Adobe I forget?

  Place the cursor inside the text box, press Ctrl + e. This will bring up the properties of text in text box where you can change the color of the text (maybe is he White right now).

  I have a project with audio on most of the slides.

  The spoken text is also displayed on the project published in the captioning.

  But when my text is longer than 3 lines (as defined in the settings of the cc), the text does not continue with the audio and stops after three lines.

  You must break up of your text in the slide Notes and more small pieces which do not exceed the surface available in the CC text box, and then you must go in the part of captioning of Audio dialog, drag and synchronize each section with the audio.

  In fact, I limit my CC text to two lines, keep my sentences short and to the point and generally do not have more than one phrase appearing in the CC at any given time.

• Text box is grayed out, no visible text in Acrobat Std V9.

  I have a user with Acrobat Std V9.  When she opens a document, the text boxes are all grayed out.  If it prints, it shows the text very well on paper, but not on screen.  I f the document opens with the player on the same PC, it also shows very well.  Is there a setting that shows areas of text, but not the text on the screen?

  Bernd is correct. A few details:

  1. Under the Edit menu, select Preferences.
  2. Select the Page display category.
  3. Near the bottom of the choice is the Group Page content and information
  4. Make sure big show images is selected

  If you want to prevent this from being a problem with PDF files, try the resampling of images when you generate the PDF file. You can reporcess a PDF afer does reduce the file size of images with the PDF Optimizer in Acrobat Professional.

  Something on your system is wasting police measures or design of the user interface.

  This could be a utility program or the setting of the BONE, and sometimes even third-party plugins ruin the design of the user interface.

  Is it possible to copy the visible text on the indesign document in another document indesign without having to copy the hidden text and the conditons as well? Or... what I can remove hidden text in new documents in an Exchange with affecting the text visible?

  No visible text in PE v6 on Mac 10.6.8. Other functions seem to work ok. Reinstall the program has not corrected.

  Text can be selected but does not appear on the screen to work, would like to help here.

  Make sure that the text is large enough (you can type any size in the size text box, you are not limited to the menu) and the same color as the background. If that does not do it, click on the small arrow to the left of the Options bar and choose Reset tool.

  I am new to livecycle designer and have very little experience with scripts.

  That's what I want to do:

  I inserted a button on a form. When the button is clicked I want to make a text box read-only containing information useful and visible.

  I don't know about the editor script etc and my form is saved in a dynamic form - I don't know what script to write!  Previously, I managed to make a visible text box when a box is checked, but so far I could not find how to make the text appears when a button is clicked: it's the syntax with which I struggle. Any help is appreciated!
