• Why my transitions display the wrong part of the clip?

  I work on a short film and succeed with several of my transitions. After you change the sequence in the first, I made color calibration via the direct link to SpeedGrade. The Lumetri of Speedgrade effects are applied to an adjustment layer on a track separate above original video clips. If I have problems with transitions (all cross dissolves) in my calendar. When one of them, they are all transition at a later stage in the second clip. As soon as the transition ends, it cuts to the appropriate location in the second clip. I hope that makes sense. If I disable the adjustment layer, everything seems well (other that the notes are not visible, of course).   Don't forget that in the layer stacking on a clip in its layer panel or stacking layers adjustment and pliers of ranking or simply complementary or bottom-third/titles above the clip base, the top rail is what is 'seen' with the exception of any transparency you set for him. Put a black layer on top, you haven't seen anything below him... until you give transparency to the layer above.

  Adjustment layers stack (that I use all the time DL PrPro-Sg) with heavy changes that cause issues in transitions... GETS very complicated to adjust the opacity of the adjustment layers as you stack them. I've done it a few times... but it's so much faster to keep these kinds of adjustments on the clip base.

  I'll also have a lot of problems with the two IE & Mozilla Firefox, when I try to access the sites Web & click for more into Internet sites I constantly get errors & the page does not load until I Ctrl F5 many times.

  You wouldn't believe how many times I have done this for just register on this forum & get to that stage.
  It's like any site that has multiple pages or much info to download is just too much for the two programs?

  An error indicates to the bottom of the lower part of the IE: res://ieframe.dll/dnerror.htm in this case, if this can help.

  I checked the memory etc, all right.
  I have a satellite A300. Hope someone can suggest something.

  I have recently installed Windows 8 Pro, installed all of my usual applications etc..
  The problem I've encountered is maintaining display driver crashing. Or have waiting periods. The exact error message reads;
  "Display driver NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver Version 306.97 has stopped working and recovered."
  Until now it expires randomly even when the computer is idle, and more frequently when I watch videos online. Also, watch a clip full screen on some sites like YouTube is ok, but on others, it is very laggy (updated maybe once per second the image) and the sound is out of sync.
  I can't find a way to properly uninstall the graphics driver.

  At least yours is working semi... I have the GTS 450 (uses the same drivers) and the mine does not at all... Stuck with the regular game pilot integrated ATM and can not all games... Microsoft told me to wait a few weeks and for the reminder and Nvida said 10 ways to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for same. Hope someone with to get a fix for this soon.

  Looks like this isn't just me.
  Just an update, that I can not confirm it as a solution, but I have not encountered any problem (a little screenlag aside) since the installation of the drivers beta. For me, the beta version of the driver is 310.33, R130. The only other change to my system updates Adobe Flash version packaged with Google Chrome to 11.4.31X to 11.4.402 to eliminate serious problems when you watch the video in full screen.

  I don't see anything wrong in the behaviour of my OS, but these consistent errors in Event Viewer makes me worry a little.

  The System File Checker tool analyzes the system files and replaces incorrect versions of system files by using the correct versions. To run the System File Checker, you'll need open an elevated command prompt. This can be done:

  • Enter the start screen
  • Press Windows + C keys on your keyboard to show the charms. (If you use a touch screen: touch the right edge of the screen and slide your finger to the center of the screen to display the bar of charms)
  • Click on search
  • Type the command prompt in the search field
  • Click with the right button on command prompt (if you use a touch screen: touch and hold your finger at the command prompt, drag your finger downwards until you see an outline around the tile and finally release your finger on the screen.)
  • Click on run as administrator

  Enter the command: sfc/scannow
  Note: If you use a touch screen you can open the touch keyboard for the command prompt by typing on the keyboard icon in your taskbar near the system tray.
