  • Windows 7 causes problems for screen - horizontal lines

I recently installed Windows 7 Ultimate a week ago and in the last two days, when I started my laptop to the top, after 10 minutes, I get suddenly color horizontal lines in the blocks on my screen (screen goes blue or black with colored lines flicker on it), or it flashes and goes blank.

I have no choice but to force them to close, and then it usually takes 3 or 4 forced outages before it works normally without any problems. It was a clean install and I've updated the display driver, but still have the same problem. The guy who installed Windows 7 back to me, so I can't talk to him to see if he knows what happened.

It s a computer laptop satellite A350 and has only 7 months. I have not had any problems with Vista, so it seems to me that it is something to do with Windows 7. Can I keep Windows 7 and stop this problem or I have to go back to Vista and if so, how?

My computer came with recovery etc. discs. If anyone has the same problem or knows how to fix it please let me know, I need my laptop for the exams so earlier I deal with this the better.

My guess would be some corrupted display drivers. What model do you have? Make sure that you install the latest drivers for you OS.

It's either that, or your graphics card is overheating.

Start Firefox in Mode safe to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    To turn on safe mode

    • You can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.
    • Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "

If it works in Mode safe mode and normal mode with all extensions (Tools > Modules > Extensions) off and then try to find which extension is the cause by allowing an extension at a time until the problem reappears.

Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit ' (Windows: Firefox/file > quit;) Mac: ' Firefox > quit Firefox. " Linux: "Firefox/file > exit ')

  • flickering horizontal lines on screen

Navigate to your model, as shown in the screenshot, make sure you are connected before you click the link.

I chose the one for Intel processors, but you have AMD. Yours is a model TX, so it does not show the specifications. Click on the appropriate one. When you get to the page with the video, give it time to load, you'll find "Cable of the LCD Panel" in the left column.

It is a big job, you can provide a reliable repairperson, do not send to HP. The guy at the shop will also have an opinion as to what is wrong.

According to me, that for the cable part number is 493020-001. When I went to e - bay that a bunch come _ buy a new, not used.

The best way to ensure you get just is to disassemble your machine and check visually with the seller. HP is known to enter the part number wrong or anything, I had to dig a little to find yours. The part must be also directly on the cable as well.

Here is your manual as well if you need it.

  • Blue screen and bad RAM memory?

My MBP 2011 early all just stopped working yesterday, it worked very well without any problem of performance for the last 5 years, and then suddenly a blue screen (of death) and it has problems starting.

He will ring the Bell to start, display the bar loading and Apple, and then there will be a glitch on the big screen (horizontally) 1 inch above the Apple, after that, the fans speed up and all that I see a gray screen, not user interface.

I zapped the PRAM/MSC and tried the unique memory sticks, I have no spare RAM on hand, but who will order soon.

    Tips to solve this problem?

    AHT says this - 65/4MEM/4000000000: 0x84f6f918

Google says it is bad memory

    Here is the BSoD:

I think you have a problem of memory, although if your MacBook Pro 15 or 17 inch, you should consider video issue as well now.

  • Black Line through the middle of the screen, is growing day by day.

    Hello

I was wondering if you would be able to help me solve this problem.

My HP Omni 120-1034 desktop PC was working fine until there is a line thin lack 2 weeks appeared in the middle of the screen horizontally past.  It's getting darker and larger as the days go by. I just reinstalled the graphics driver, but which is not helping.

    Help, please. Thank you

Sounds like the display panel which as you can imagine, is hard to get an all-in-one. Certainly, on a laptop we would connect to an external monitor, but yours doesn't have an external monitor port. Replacement screens are about $130 on eBay.

  • Windows 7 bar tools/icons at the top of the screen are missing!

My toolbar for Windows 7 @ the top of my computer screen is missing.  This is the toolbar that came with my new computer and windows 7 (internet content explorer, trash, mail, etc...) The large icons that passed through the top of the screen (horizontally) disappeared.  Does anyone know how to get it back?  Thank you

    Hello

First, go to start / all programs. Find the toolbar here. If this is a Dell computer, the toolbar is called the Dell docking station and you can start it again by selecting the toolbar in the Dell folder.

If she is not there, you can download the toolbar from the following link.

The Dell Dock from Stardock: Powered by ObjectDock

    I hope this helps.

Thank you for using Windows 7

  • BlackBerry smartphones when the keyboard slider is open screen won't tilt

Hi I do not know if it's by design or a bug, but if you have the physical keyboard open, then you try to reverse the screen horizontally, the screen doesn't flip. • Dell Studio 1555 - screen resolution problem

As I said, I have a Studio 1555 purchased in 2009. Recently, I had a hard disk problem and had to replace it. With replacement, I reinstalled Vista and drivers; However, the resolution of the screen only now allows up to 1152 x 864 - which spans a bit the screen horizontally. My hard drive before, it only lasted in the slightest. I think that I can not have installed the factory properly drivers, but I'm not positive. My replacement hard drive is slower (5400 RPM as apposed to my previous 7200 RPM), but I was told that this would have nothing to do with my resolution problem. Any thoughts? I'm a graphics guy and amateur photographer, so this problem of resolution just doesn't fly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Update: it was indeed a driver didn't install I guess. I installed it and everything is right with the world now.

  • M70-144: need to display properties for the instalation of Linux

    Hello

I intend to install Linux on my computer laptop m70 and I was wondering what is the exact specification of my laptop screen (horizontal refresh rate, vertical refresh rate, etc.)

Also - what are th e linux drivers from the ati site works with the ati x 600 chip?

    Hello

As far as I know this device was shipped with a screen 15.4 "(1280 x 800) TruBrite Wide XGA TFT color display." But the detailed information on the screen, you will find in the user manual.

All graphics driver: I recommend to use only the graphics driver Toshiba because this driver uses a function of protection due to overheating problems. But if you want to use one other drivers, you can do it at your own risk.
In addition, the Toshiba doesn't supports Linux because the units are supplied only with the Microsoft Windows operating system.

  • Satellite P875 - 31 c - problems with suspension

    Hello

I have this laptop for 2 months and the last days I noticed that when he goes on suspension, a few times I can't 'wake up '. The screen is black and if I press the button "play", for example, music plays and so on, but the screen goes black, if I move the mouse a few dark lines with different intensity to move the screen horizontally.

The only way to continue with her his cock down and I cannot lose what I saved not every time I leave the laptop for 20 minutes.

This sometimes happens, say that when I left it "suspend" in the medium term, so short or long for a night he wakes.

The last time was during the download of a file, for example.

I also wanted to ask, something irrelevant, I actually don't like too much pressure at work, needs the space bar in this laptop, there is a solution for this?

Thank you in advance, best regards

    > Also wanted to ask, something irrelevant, I actually do not like too much pressure at work, needs the space bar in this laptop, there is a solution for this?

You cannot replace the single keyboard keys, if you want you can replace the entire keyboard.

With regard to the question of the sleep mode:
It is difficult to tell how to solve so strange the fact that this problem does not always appear. So it's hard to say what causes this theoretically could be a background process that affect the laptop to wake up.
