Script agent does not
All,
I just downloaded and deployed the following script agent. Everything seemed to be going perfect. If I navigate to the fglam > State > agent > myagent > scripts folder and run the .sh script he things seem to work as I want. I let the agent walk for an hour while I went to lunch and I still don't see anything in the model. No idea where I was wrong?
Solaris with 5.5.8.2, FMS1 5.6.5 on centOS fglam.,.
[code]
#
#! / bin/bash
#somestuff
variable #define
EIMJobStartTimeUTCTimeStampString = 0
EIMJobStartTimeDate = 0
EIMJobStartTimeTime = 0
CurrentDate = 0
#Scrape file for journal information and format it in vars
EIMJobStartTimeUTCTimeStampString = $(tête-n 1)< `ls="" -t="" pt/myawesomeapp/enterprises/prod/prod_app1/log/eim*.log="" |="" head="" -n="" 1`|="" cut="" -f="" 2,3="" -d="" '="">
EIMJobStartTimeDate = $(echo $EIMJobStartTimeUTCTimeStampString | awk '{print substr ($0, 0, 10)} ")
EIMJobStartTimeTime = $(echo $EIMJobStartTimeUTCTimeStampString | awk '{print substr ($0, 12)} ")
CurrentDate = "date".
#echo our results for the test, do not include in the cartridge
#echo $EIMJobStartTimeUTCTimeStampString
#echo $EIMJobStartTimeDate
#echo $EIMJobStartTimeTime
#Echo results in format Foglight
echo "TABLE EIM_JOB_STARTTIME"
echo 'START_SAMPLE_PERIOD '.
echo "StartTime.StringObservation.obs is"$EIMJobStartTimeUTCTimeStampString ".
echo "StartTimeDate.StringObservation.obs is"$EIMJobStartTimeDate ".
echo "StartTimeTime.StringObservation.obs is"$EIMJobStartTimeTime ".
echo "SystemDate.StringObservation.obs is"$CurrentDate ".
echo 'END_SAMPLE_PERIOD '.
echo "END_TABLE.
[/ code]
Here is the result, it "seems" be correct
-bash-3,00$./EIMJobStartTime.sh
TABLE EIM_JOB_STARTTIME
START_SAMPLE_PERIOD
StartTime.StringObservation.obs = 2013-03-15 21:09:52
StartTimeDate.StringObservation.obs = 2013-03-15
StartTimeTime.StringObservation.obs = 21: 09:52
SystemDate.StringObservation.obs = Friday, March 15, 2013 21:11:26 UTC
END_SAMPLE_PERIOD
END_TABLE
-bash-3, $ 00
When I "get log" on the agent, that nothing ever happens for this agent.
5.6.5 seems to have a bug regarding the agent data of custom script that appears in the data browser.
Try to restart the FMS service, others have seen it solve the problem in topology view.

Custom Script Agent - do not display under host
Hello
I tried to create my first agent custom foglight 5.5 following some blogs posted here, the script that I use is the following
off @echo
NETSTAT - year | Find/c '8080' > D:\scripts\test\QAS_Count.txt
FOR /F "tokens = 1 delims =" % in (D:\scripts\test\QAS_Count.txt) set QAS_Count = %% a
echo QASCheckScriptTest TABLE
echo START_SAMPLE_PERIOD
echo Host.String.id = TestHostString
the echo of QAS = % QAS_Count %
echo END_SAMPLE_PERIOD
echo END_TABLE
I tried to keep it as simple as possible just to try it. all I want is the number of connections on a specified port.
I managed to create the custom agent, deploy the agent to the host package, create the agent and enable it to collect the data, the log file indicates it collects data and there are no errors. I lived a few interactions of the script work some other product of errors in the agent log.
However, my problem is that the agent does not appear under the host in the form of agents, I have waited long, restarted the service of fglam but no joy. I tried to clean the system of my first attempts, thinking they can cause problems but still no joy.
I'm new to foglight no idea where start with this problem? also, I have the feeling that it would never work without removing all traces of the previous agents\deployments\scripts can someone explain how to remove everything from the system
Thank you
KeV
Hi Kev,
If agent is producing a correct output, but the measures do not appear in the model of the FMS, there is probably an error in the processing of these metrics on the FMS. We have seen this before when there is a conflict between the definition of the current version of the script with an earlier version. If you download the FMS log file and look for references on behalf of your script, you will probably discover the source of the problem. Often, you can work around a problem like this by:
-change the name of agent script,
-change the name from agent table, or
-explicitly delete the previous definition of the type of agent

Script error does not YouTube HTML5
With the YouTube HTML5 (http://www.youtube.com/html5 ) mode is activated, any video that is played with the HTML5 player will give me a script error does not respond on "" Script: http://s.ytimg.com/yt/jsbin/html5player-vflGWJljH.js:58".
Note that not all videos play on the HTML5 player. Try this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdgQpa1pUUE
Howard Forum Wiki gives me unresponsive script error as well. Go in http://www.howardforums.com/showwiki.php?title=Android+Wiki: on and click on the Discussion tab and I get an error of "Script: http://www.howardforums.com/clientscript/vault/reset.js?v=3014:285"script. "
Google knows about the issue, and they should be updating the Web site later today.

12 c on the repository server management agent does not start due to a failure of the system
My environment architecture for 12 c Cloud Control (used for the purpose of personal practice) can be explained as follows:
@DBSERVER: (OEL6.5, x 86-64)
-12 c Enterprise Manager Cloud Control (EMCC)
-Database 11.2.0.4 which acts as a repository for 12 c EMCC
Monitored host is on a virtual machine (VM12) which is currently in the DBSERVER:
VM12: (OEL6.5, x 86-64)
-12 c Management Agent which monitors host and database (12.1.0.1)
The server worked fine for months until recently when the computer has restarted abruptly. Abrupt restart has occurred several times in the past, but this time, he had a problem when restarting. The DBSERVER when a startup starts the SGC and the AGENT. WHO starts perfectly, but the AGENT does not start. On trying to start the agent, it displays the following error message:
[orcl11204g@dbserver bin] $. / emctl start agent
Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud control 12 c Release 3
Copyright (c) 1996, 2013 Oracle Corporation. All rights reserved.
Starting Agent... failed.
Manager of target failed to startup: targets.xml was rejected: loaded with a token incorrect agent
See emctl.log and emagent.nohup in: / home/u01/oemrel3/agent/agent_inst/sysman/log
[orcl11204g@dbserver bin] $
The targets.xml file contains the following information, which do not seem to be of any help:
[orcl11204g@dbserver emd] $ cat targets.xml
<? XML version = "1.0"? >
<>targets
< / objectives >
[orcl11204g@dbserver emd] $
Anyone can provide assistance in such circumstances?
The DBSERVER repository database, the auditor and the who are running, while the agent is down. VM12, listener and agent database is running. Is there another file that should be checked for more information?
--> $/ AGENT_INST/bin/emctl stop agent
If the agent does not stop is free then kill all the background process agent first grepping for agent perl and java process only
--> Move your existing target.xml file
MV target.xml target.xml.old
--> Create an empty file targets.xml under/AGENT_INST/sysman/MDTs with the below content
--> Start the agent of
$AGENT_INST/bin/emctl start agent
That starts agent but without all the targets in targets.xml
To the discovery of targets saw agent console resynchronization

I get a Script error does not respond on many sites, including in Yahoo mail
This error almost everytime I open an email from Yahoo mail as well as at many other sites. Most of the time the script that fails is chrome://divxextension/content/script.js:132, although sometimes there are others. I have same Chrome open and I don't understand why it does not. It is so annoying that I'm ready to go back to IE.
Any help will be appreciated.

The CPL Script works does not on Cisco E Highway
Hello
I am trying to download the script to block all the RTC call hit on the highway E in order to avoid any misuse, however the script does not come into force.
Attached the script and please let me know if something is missing.
It is downloaded manually until highway E
I check several post in CSC and it seems a necessity to download manually create rather than through GUI.
For me the two does not work and call crosses ExpresswayC and CUCM.
I want to block call to highway E itself, when not authenticated or unknown user sends the RTC call from 9 and +.
Kind regards
RACLOT
You need to have something in the original section, leave empty will only match calls that actually have an empty source field.
An alternative to using a source address which is supposed to be mapped is to specify the area that runs through the call, in this case because it is an external call entering the highway-E, the appeal will also come from the default Zone.
Replace:
unauthenticated-origin=""
With:originating-zone="DefaultZone"

Ajax upload script works does not on a single server only?
Someone has encountered a problem like this before?
I use a "drag and drop" upload file image streams that works very well on square and 6 other remote hosts, I tried on but it does not work on the remote host, that I really need to work.
I checked phpinfo and download file is about and what actually upload a picture if I use a direct access and select workflow that is a bit old hat.
Was wondering if anyone had come across a situation like this before and what to look for in the phpInfo information. I put a call into hosting tomorrow because there must be a server configuration problem, but in the meantime, if anyone has any fire entry away.
See you soon
Operating system
I'm struggling with a related problem right now. A simple PHP script runs on the local server, but not the Server hosting - grrrrr...
What PHP version on the server?
Maybe a permissions issue? Is the file receiving the image the value just read/write or read/write/execution?

Install the new FDMEE 11.1.2.4 - ODI Agent does not start
After the installation and configuration of EMP 11.1.2.4, components (including the FDMEE) on a Windows 2008 (single-server installation), I ran diagnosis of EPM system and found the only test that failed was to the Agent of ODI.
ODI Agent availability check: http://server1:6550 / oraclediagent
Error: com.hyperion.cis.utils.BadResponseCodeException: bad response with the GET method code: 404
Recommended action: check the application of the FDM Enterprise Edition is started and the database schemas exist.
FDMEE and all the other components of the EMP seem to work and open in the workspace. The only problem is that ODI Agent will not start. Re-installation and configuration of FDMEE has not fixed this problem. I also tried to start manually in the WebLogic administration server, but it has not started and I found the following error in ErpIntegrator0.log.

During my research of these errors, I found results indicating the problem could be related to multiple NIC cards or enforceable, but I don't know if this is the reason of my problem and how to check it. Any help would be appreciated!
In your case, it seems that the list of the WKA is formed using the IP 127.0.0.1 loopback address but consistency has bound to the IP address of 10 points. Finally, make sure that they match so that ODI Agent can start, but given that it's a DHCP box you well then that tends to add another layer of complication.
What we tend to do in support with DHCP boxes to avoid problems with name resolution is to simulate a static IP address by adding a loopback adapter (google, you can add a loopback adapter Server 2008 for instructions) with a static IP address (I often use smth like setting IPv4 10.10.10.10 (, netmask 255.255.255.0 & no gateway) then add an entry to the hosts file to map the IP address for the host name of the host name for example, 10.10.10.10
You must make sure that the host name resolution works as expected in Java according to this link as well (which I think is why we go to the "loopback hack" first place in support): https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E40248_01/epm.1112/epm_install/frameset.htm?ch06s02s01.html
I would start by looping config tbh as I remember seeing someone with a box of AWS, earlier when helping a colleague where host name resolution was not working with that tool and they had problems with the Agent of ODI.

power cli script works does not in 5.5-was prior work
I am trying to perform actions on the virtual machines that reside in a csv file. Here's what I have:
to connect-viserver $vcenter
foreach ()$_.name in ("Import-Csv " "$ENV: USERPROFILE\Desktop\vm_list.csv ' -UseCulture)) { }
$VM = Get-VM $_. name
Get-VM $VM | Where {$_. PowerState -eq "PoweredOn"} |
Select Name, Host, NumCpu, MemoryMB,
@{N='Cpu.UsageMhz.Average';} E={[Math]::Round((($_ | Get-Stat -Stat cpu.usagemhz.average -Start Get-Date(). () AddHours (-24) -IntervalMins 5 -MaxSamples (12) | Measure-object Value -Average). Average) , 2 )}},
@{N='Mem.Usage.Average';} E={[Math]::Round((($_ | Get-Stat -Stat mem.usage.average -Start Get-Date(). () AddHours (-24) -IntervalMins 5 -MaxSamples (12) | Measure-object Value -Average). Average) , 2 )}} `
| Export-Csv c:\Temp\stats.csv
}
NOTE - If I get rid of the thing whole 'foreach' script works fine Get - VM and down by removing the $VM variable)
But I want to get the data of perf for VMs on my list, not only of each of them via the GET - VM against the whole vcEnter.
Any ideas why it's a failure? in 5.0, I ran a script that mobilized the "foreach" exactly as you see above and it worked great. Now we are at 5.5 is more does not work.
Output showing the errors that have baffled me:
C:\Users\kwg\Desktop\test2.ps1:8 tank: 12
+ foreach ($_.name in (Import-Csv "$ENV:USERPROFILE\Desktop\vm_ip.csv")
-UseCulture...
+ ~
Missing 'in' after variable in the foreach loop.
C:\Users\kwg\Desktop\test2.ps1:8 tank: 83
+ ... "- UseCulture)) {}".
+ ~
Unexpected token ')' in expression or statement.
+ CategoryInfo: ParserError: (:)) [], ParseException Exception)
+ FullyQualifiedErrorId: MissingInInForeach
Not sure why you use the pipeline variable ($_____) in the foreach loop?
There is no need to use a ForEach loop actually, you can pass several names for the Name parameter on the Get - VM cmdlet.
And then you use the pipeline at its maximum.
I would like
to connect-viserver $vcenter
Get-VM-name (Import-Csv "$ENV:USERPROFILE\Desktop\vm_list.csv" - UseCulture | % {$_.}) Name}) |
Where {$_.} PowerState - eq "Receptor"} |
Select Name, host, NumCpu, MemoryMB,
@{N = "Cpu.UsageMhz.Average"; E = {[Math]: round ((($_ |))} Get-Stat - Stat cpu.usagemhz.average - Start (Get-Date). AddHours(-24)-IntervalMins 5 - MaxSamples (12) | Measure - Object - average value). Average), 2)}},
@{N = "Mem.Usage.Average"; E = {[Math]: round ((($_ |))} Get-Stat - Stat mem.usage.average - Start (Get-Date). AddHours(-24)-IntervalMins 5 - MaxSamples (12) | Measure - Object - average value). Average), 2)}} |
Export-Csv c:\Temp\stats.csv

Hi all
I use the new version of the developer 4.0.1.14 on Windows 7 x 64, I noticed that the result of the query or the output of the script does not display as before:
When I run a query lets say with 100 lines of output, run the query successfully, but the cursor jumps automatically to the last record in the game as in all previous versions, I have to scroll manually everytime.
Can I change this?
Thank you
No, unfortunately, it's a bug.
It is not for all queries however. Still boring.
