Script of CS5.5 (MAC) to set random points in the analyses of lineart

Hello.

In my area, I often scan documents one text for offset printing. Most of the scans is clean, but in the end, there will be random points that need to be locked. I'm looking for a way to streamline this process.

I could find a solution I had in mind, but to convert the lineart scan 8-bit first. The example can be found at: http://verlagmartinkoch.at/software/cleanup/index.html

However, everyone has heard of an action or a javascript that could do this without having to convert them to grayscale, then returns to lineart?

I read dozens of posts and DIY guides, which suggests to always do the black and white scans in grayscale and convert them then, but without going into huge detail, I will say simply that the scans I get will result like lineart.

Thank you very much

Colly

I created plugin for this

feel free to use it:

Unfortunately filters do not work in drawing mode, so you don't have to first convert them to grayscale image. but my plugin is free unlike that you mention in the startpost and works on mac - one mentioned is windows only)

It should not be a problem, just to record action that converts in GS, called my plugin and then converted lineart

If you work on RGB/CMYK - you will have to treat each channel separately, I code again.

Gross white/rough balck option does not take into account pixel diagonal connections

before - after

Here's a quick demo

(plugin is 32-bit only, will update soon CS6)
