Script to send the first page of the PDF.

Currently I have the following script at the end the complete PDF in an e-mail.

this.mailDoc ({bUI: true, cTo: cToAddr, bassujetti: cSubLine, CMSG: cbody});

Is it possible to modify it so it sends only the first page and not the complete PDF.

Thanks for your time and your expertise.

With the help of try67, we determined that the file was corrupted and would not even extract pages when just clink on the page thumbnails. I reworked somethings and now it works fine with the above code.

Thank you

It's a question of how the recipients e-mail programs deal with attachments. Many e-mail programs will open all the files they can handle, including files jpg and PDF, by default, and if the recipient has not changed that there is nothing you can do about it. The only solution is to the compress first, then it will be delivered as an attachment, allowing the recipient to decompress and open it.

  • Setting the 'Email' button to send only specific pages in a PDF file

Hey everyone, could not find this question at the Board of Directors, so thought I would give it a shot.

I have a PDF I do w / a cover page, what I want to know is if I put 'email PDF' button specially send the PDF without the included cover page (so the cover page is page 1 in a 5-page document, the pdf sent by email would only include pages 2-5).

Not sure if this is possible, but I thought that I would like to tender hand to experts - thanks in advance!

Nice that you say this, Nikos101. I played with it a little more and found that you can indeed send the PDF as an attachment without saving it first. I did it like this:

PROBLEM SENDING FILE PDF WITH OUTLOOK EXPRESS.

Here's what's happening.  I created a PDF file in adobe 4 pages, I can reach the PDF file to a mail sent in Outlook Express, but I see where he treats of it says part 1, part 2, part 3, all the way to part 7, when there are only four pages.  The recipient gets 7 different emails and cannot open an any of them.    I have a yahoo email and I can send the PDF file there.   Just frustrating.  I use Windows XP.  Not familiar with computers but I would like someone to tell me the problem.  It has worked before and I don't know what happened to create the question.  Thank you.

  • How can I make an osteonecrosis affects the form that will be present and send the pdf as an email?

How to make a button on the form that will be present and send the pdf as an email?

You can set up a button with an action to "Submit a form" and use a URL of the type mailto to specify the email address, you have the forms sent. If you want to send the whole PDF, select this option and not FDF or anything else. The mailto URL must not include spaces and the part "mailto" must be lowercase, as:

    mailto:[email protected]

It will try to open an e-mail by using the users default email client. If the user has not implemented a or there is another problem, the email could not get started. If she has to work with versions of reader before 11, the form must be activated for the reader, what you do in Acrobat 11 selecting: file > save as other > Reader Extended PDF > activate tools more

    Hi GKaiseril

You are right, that the script will be executed again in Acrobat, if you leave it in place.

And it is also strange in Reader.

However once you have the icons placed on each page, before you save the file PDF simply go you back and delete the script.

That seems to work OK in Acrobat and Reader.

Also, the script must be changed to place the icons at the very top of the page or maybe even down and I can't do that.

  • When you use a button to send the PDF PDF form can be divided into two?

    Hello

I have a PDF form which consists of two pages - the second help autofilled data from boxes filled with page 1.

I asked when the form is completed and the user presses the button submit, if the PDF file can be contacted only two files then page 1 and 2 of each its own PDF by email, but for the same recipient?

Except that they use Adobe Acrobat in order to transmit the file, more.

I'm really just trying to send my pdf. I'm new on this and must send it immediately. @

Hi how to transfer pdf saved,

You can use Adobe send to send and track your PDF file. Or, if you need more, you can attach the PDF file to an e-mail using your regular email client (steps will vary depending on what client you use).

Sending Adobe is a great choice if you want to send a large file, as most email clients have size restrictions.

Here is some information on the use of Adobe send: Acrobat.com help | With the help of Adobe Send

  • Submit button to send the PDF?

Is it possible to submit a PDF form by e-mail without activating the 'extra features' via Adobe Acrobat Pro X? Or is it MUST be enabled in order to submit anything by email? Thank you!

If you want to allow the user to make changes, as in a form and send the complete PDF using the reader, must the document be enabled for the drive. Otherwise, it is not able to save any changes that can be made, which must be done if you want that any PDF to send. If you only want to send the form data or your users will only use Acrobat (or some 'readers' non Adobe), then it is not. Note that you can fill out a blank form using Acrobat if you are only sent the form data. Player 10 is also able to add sticky notes and text highlight comments without the document enabled player.

  • Send the PDF file to the FTP server form

I don't know if this is possible, but one of my clients wants, so I check. They have a PDF form that is implemented which currently sends the attachment via the user's e-mail program. My client is not like that. So they want to when a user fills the PDF and send it, the PDF filled on is sent to an FTP folder to which they can access. Is it possible to send a PDF file to a specified folder in FTP? If so, what all would be necessary?

    Thank you

Is not possible. You can send to a web server, which can then save the file somewhere, but it would require emissions.

  • How can I put a footer which links to the first page of a PDF from the other pages?

I am trying to create a pdf file that has the "Return to Table of contents" option at the bottom of each page from 2 to 23.  I know how to add a footer, and I know how to add a link, but is there a way to put a link as a footer?  I don't want to go and create the links 22 for each file.

Page 2 create a button that has a mouse "Go to a page view" action that goes to the table of contents page.

Then duplicate this button on pages 3-23.
