Scrolling background

I have a character walk, I already have a repetitive background but I can't find a way to make repeating seamless / loop. What is the best solution for this?

Thank you for reading.

You can put your bottom in a symbol and the last image and animation key defined action replay 0 sec (or you can make a label for the first image key and seti for play of this label). And make sure the option autoplay for this symbol is checked. She's.

  • stop scrolling background image

    Hello

    In my application, I used a custom manager that contains the listField object. The problem is that when I scroll through the on-screen image begins to repeat until the length of the list (which is dynamic). I don't want the wallpaper to scroll but I don't want the nursery and its content to scroll on the same single image.

    Can u please help me?

  • How to create a no with scrolling background image

    I searched a lot on the forum and able to paint my background either by overriding methods of painting/paintBackground of the screen or the Manager. But the background is still floating, which means that when the screen scrolls down, the background goes back and white space appears.

    My question is, how do I make the fixed background image?

  • Scrolling background. Best way to do it.

    Hi, do my games as usual with your help in teaching English.

    I have my character market now which is nice. I would like it to walk along a beach, and when she arrives at the edge, or probably before - to the beach to continue it is to say: bg scrolls to the left, giving the impression of movement. BUT I do not know whether to stick to a bg massive IE: 5 times the width of the stage so that the character can walk for a long time or b) create a two times the size and just put in a loop. Y at - it no disadvantage to the first as the bg would be very large and much to scroll like I'll go full screen,

    From what I understand from reading your post, looks like your best bet is to scroll the background that the character moves, keeping the screen of the central character... but it's really up to you. You can hunt around and do some reading on what makes the scrolling - search for scrolling scroller game and/or platform games, etc..

  • Problem with scrolling background...

    I have an item with a picture as fill and I want the image to scroll more slowly than the rest of the page, but gets to stay focused no matter how big the browser window. If I pin the image to the top of the browser, it centered, but the movement of scrolling does not work. I am eager as possible?

    Hello

    With the available options, you can either the object on the page that would set the pin position, but scrolling will not work or apply scrolling on object without right/left movement that would stick the object on the page that scrolls the other page elements.

    Thank you

  • Is it possible that I can have my background scroll from top to bottom of the image

    Original title: scrolling background

    One of my friends has recently done a photo for me I would really like to have as my background, but it is very vertical. Is it possible that I can have my background scroll from top to bottom of the picture and then go back to the top?

    Backgrounds can not move, don't.

  • Help with a scroll in the background without end

    I tried to recreate the tutorial in the link below.

    http://www.pixelhivedesign.com/tutorials/endless+scrolling+background/

    And think that I followed the instructions, but my actionscript generates only a 1 movieclip rather than the 2 required to create the desired effect.

    Here's the action script I typed on in AS2 on the first frame as shown in the tutorial.

    Could someone there watching over and explain what I did wrong?

    Animator = createEmptyMovieClip('animator',1);
    bg_1 = animator.attachMovie('bg_mc','bg_1',1);
    bg_2 = animator.attachMovie('bg_mc','bg_2',2);
    bg_1._x = - bg_1.width/2;
    bg_2._x = bg_2.width/2;
    Speed = 1;
    cloudWidth = 380;
    animator.onEnterFrame = function () {}
    bg_1._x = speed;
    bg_2._x = speed;
    If (bg_1._x < = - bg_1._width) bg_1._x = cloudWidth;
    If (bg_2._x < = - bg_2._width) bg_2._x = cloudWidth;

    }

    There is no property of width in a2.  Use _width:

    Animator = createEmptyMovieClip('animator',1);
    bg_1 = animator.attachMovie('bg_mc','bg_1',1);
    bg_2 = animator.attachMovie('bg_mc','bg_2',2);
    bg_1._x = - bg_1._width / 2;
    bg_2._x = bg_2._width / 2;

    Speed = 1;
    cloudWidth = 380;
    animator.onEnterFrame = function () {}
    bg_1._x = speed;
    bg_2._x = speed;
    If (bg_1._x<= -bg_1._width)="" bg_1._x="">
    If (bg_2._x<= -bg_2._width)="" bg_2._x="">

    }

  • Ghost text

    I work with a floating frame that contains the text.

    Somehow the text scrolls, but there the text of another section which remains stagnant under the floating frame.

    Is it possible to get rid of the static text?

    A block of text scrolling background is transparent. To make it opaque, you can select the image content and apply a white fill. Which may or may not work, depending on your design.

  • Floating frame - melted at the bottom

    Hey guys,.

    I can't get this to work. I have a floating frame, and I would like to have a subtle shading the bottom of it.

    I know how this Flash etc.: create a gradient image/chart of total transparency to white (or your background color) and superimpose on top of the framework.

    But when I try to do this in InDesign, the floating frame is located at the top of all the rest.

    Is there a way to get the videographic image degraded to sit on top of the overlay? Maybe making it into some form of superposition?

    Adobe life 2012 application has it put in place. See attached screenshot.

    Thanks in advance for any guidance.

    IMG_0005.jpg

    It's pretty easy, I just learned this.  All you need to do is create a MOS (Multi State Object) with an image with a gradient and color that matches your border scroll background.  It must be a MOS because it can be sitting/living on top of the moving image.

    So first, you create the gradient to sit on top of the SF.  Say for example using your example, make white transparent degraded discoloration.  Are the same width as your SF.  Make about a half inch or so great.  Make two identical copies and give it to a MOS.  In the Overlay creator set the 'Auto Play' and 'Play' MOS 1 and check «Stop and last Image» Place this at the bottom of your SF MOS and it will give the effect of it fading as it scrolls.  Play with the spacing of your SF to make sure it sounds good when scrolling.

    I hope this helps.

  • How is my MovieClip doesn't work?

    What I'm trying to do is create a series of clips in my flash (through actionscript) project to create a scrolling background. But I'vev ran into a strange question.

    For some reason even if I think that I add the movieclips correctly to the scene, all the variables are set to zero.

    Here is the code in my main script that I use to create clips (GrassTile)

    [code]

    var grassHolder:Sprite = new Sprite();

    addChild (grassHolder)

    for (var i: int = 0; i < 5; i ++)

    {

    grassHolder.addChildAt (new GrassTile (i), i);

    }

    [/ code] (and if you know a BBCode to display of the labour code, it would be also useful )

    And here is my GrassTile class: I cut out the unimportant stuff. I can add in more later if necessary there.

    [code]

    package {}

    Import 12345678910111213import;

    import flash.display.MovieClip;

    import flash.events.Event;

    SerializableAttribute public class GrassTile extends MovieClip

    {

    private var _root:MovieClip

    private var grass: Bitmap;

    public var id: int;

    public void GrassTile(id:int)

    {

    This.x = 100

    This.ID = id;

    addEventListener (Event.ADDED_TO_STAGE, onEnterStage);

    }

    public function updateGrassTiles (): void //called on the main timeline

    {

    This.x = (this.width 0%) + (this.width * (id));

    This.y = stage.stageHeight - this.height;

    trace (this.) Width);

    trace (this.x); These traces back only '0' unless it was the last created

    }

    private void onEnterStage(e:Event):void

    {

    removeEventListener (Event.ADDED_TO_STAGE, onEnterStage);

    _root = MovieClip (root);

    grass = _root._resource. GrassImage;

    addChild (grass);

    }

    }

    }

    [/ code]

    As I said in the comments in the code, when the GrassTiles are added, everyone except the last one added returns 0 for the x and width and does not add the Bitmap image.

    Thanks in advance!

    Try this - it clones (should clone - I didn't test it) bitmap

            public var id:int;

            public function GrassTile(id:int)
            {
                this.x = 100
                this.id = id;
                addEventListener(Event.ADDED_TO_STAGE, onEnterStage);

            }

            public function updateGrassTiles():void //called from the main timeline
            {
                this.x = (0 % this.width) + (this.width * (id));
                this.y = stage.stageHeight - this.height;
                trace(this.width);
                trace(this.x); //These traces return only "0" unless it was the last one created
            }

            private function onEnterStage(e:Event):void
            {
                removeEventListener(Event.ADDED_TO_STAGE, onEnterStage);
                _root = MovieClip(root);
                grass = cloneBitmap(_root._resource.GrassImage);
                addChild(grass);
            }

  • Flash of cropping

    Is it possible to crop my drawings in Flash CS5? I want to make a scrolling background out of this:WoodsProblem.png

    .. .and I want to crop the ends of these layers so that they are smooth, like this:TOOC2-01.png

    .. .but that was done in the paint, so it is more graphic vector. So is there a way to achieve the foregoing by cropping or in any other way in Flash CS5?

    Add this one to your point, click it to select it (if it is not already selected), click on edit/bitmap/change bitmap image and choose some settings (your from can be rude), and then click ok.  you will now have a vector of this bitmap.  You can click to select the two rows of two lower tops and then right click and click Save to convert those to a movieclip.  You can then go to the timeline of the movieclip and color the same.

    There are many variations of these steps that work and there are other things you can do, including mask that can be used to bring up and oppose are cropped.

  • Help, Contribute behaving strangely

    My client cannot work with Contribute. All is selected. No idea what could be wrong. If checked the al code etc. and find it. Only thing I can imagine is the code in the style sheet:

    HTML {}
    Background: #666666 url(images/pageback.jpg);
    margin: 0;
    padding: 0;
    height: 100%;
    }

    {body
    background-image: url(images/bg_container_balkengekleurd.gif);
    ScrollBar-base-color: #7F7E83;
    ScrollBar-arrow-color: #F89828;
    position: relative;
    margin: 0 auto;
    padding: 0;
    Width: 990px;
    min-height: 100%;
    background-attachment: scroll;
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-position: center bottom;
    }

    #container {}
    Width: 989px;
    left margin: auto;
    margin-right: auto;
    padding: 0;

    border-right: 1px solid #F89828;
    border-bottom: 1px solid #F89828;
    border-left: 1px solid #F89828;

    }

    But this seems strange to me. Anyone have an idea here. I'm desperate.

  • CFML in CSS

    I'm adding a CF rotating image tag within an element CSS... sort of something like the following:

    < style type = "text/css" >
    div #container {}
    background-color: #fff;
    background-image: url (< cf_coop_banner >).
    background-attachment: scroll;
    background-repeat: repeat-y; }
    < / style >
    < div id = "container" >
    < / div >
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

    After that I run the cfm file and view the source, I get the following:

    <! DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional / / IN" " http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd" >
    "" < html xmlns = " http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml ' XML: lang ="fr"lang ="fr">
    < head >
    < title > WorrySome.com < / title >
    <!-Andy Clarke ( http://www.stuffandnonsense.co.uk)
    Molly E. Holzschlag ( http://www.molly.com) ->
    < meta http-equiv = "Content-Type" content = text/html"; charset = iso-8859-1 "/ >"
    < style type = "text/css" >
    div #container {}
    background-color: #fff;
    background-image: url)
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    The tag is jump the CSS, I know the tag OK works in my other pages, this is the first time that I try to work with him in the CSS.

    I guess the question is what I we CFML in this way?

    Any ideas?

    Looks like that I discovered that the answer is Yes, you can CFML in a CSS element.

    My problem is the CFTag that I use.
