Scrolling still image as in FCP7

Hello

In FCP 7 I used to be able to animate a still photo file using keyframes - scroll on the screen--could take a simple program with a list of names and scroll up and down...

Can you tell me how I can do it in FCPX now?

Thank you!

Set the image that you want to start. Shift - T for the functions of transformation in the Viewer. Click keyfraneme in the upper left corner. Place the head into its final position. Crop the image to its final position.

  • DVD still image capture

I want create snapshots of a DVD and save in JPG format or another file format.  I tried the command + shift + 3 and a utility called SnapNDrag.  I get a gray screen, if the DVD is paused or read.  I guess this is a sort of copyright protection.  I'm not ripped off the someone work, this is a DVD made by a friend of home movies.

If I can't do this with the DVD player, can I somehow extract the contents into a movie file?  I think I might then use iMovie to capture still images, no?

Need to rip the DVD to get the video files. Handbrake is a popular application to do this. It of a free download and works for unprotected DVDs.

  • HDR-AS15 future updates for still images

I had a question about the possible updates of the firmware for the HDR-AS15. As I understand the AS15 has the 11.9MP same sensor as the HDR-AS30. However, the still images on the AS15 are limited to 2MP. Is this something that can be changed in an update of the firmware? To allow the AS15 take pictures even at 11.9MP as does the AS30? As both cameras have the same sensors, this should be plausible.

I love my AS15 but I would like to take higher resolution pictures and take full advantage of the sensor of the camera.

    Thank you!

At present, an update that increases the resolution of the fixed image of the AS15 is not available. We appreciate your comments, and we will transfer to our team of engineers to review.

  • Plotted in 3D rendering engine Department. Still images rendered in animatons.

    Hello!

I would like to ask the pros how can I optimize the rendering of animations process?

I have a publication with text extruded with 3D engine layer traced to the RADIUS. There is an intro (text) and outro (text disappears). Between the intro and outro are just still frames, without any movement. When I go, I see how after the intro of rendering, each still image unique rerenders again and again. It is increases rendering time significantly, why it is happening? How can I optimize the rendering process? Is it possible for AE render a single image still animation, produce this next image is the same and jump rerender, continue to render fragments of an animation at the end next?  Maybe there's a cache or something else that needs to be enabled?

The AE version is CC 2015.3 (13.8.1.38)

    Mac OS X 10.11.6 (15 G 31)

    24 GB RAM

    3.2 GHz Intel Core i5

    CUDA driver version: 7.5.30

    Thank you!

3D Raytrace rendering engine uses a brute force method and makes each image. Your only option would be to pre-rendered sequences of images and use them.

  • Can still images be transferred throughout the frame in Premier Pro?

Using Premier Pro, a still image as a photograph possible to enter the frame starting at the bottom and moving constantly upward until it leaves the frame up? If so, can there be a color or a texture acting as the 'context' of the image?

    Thank you

    Rob

You can use Motion with keyframes to move your always on the screen in the process of V2. You could add another still or create a matte, color, etc. to be your background in the process of V1.

Information about the movement: apply adjustments of motion clips in Premiere Pro

  • First Pro CS6-still images that grainy when the effects of movement applied

I made a video in Premiere Pro CS6. The video, in part, still use images that I pan or zoom in on a Ken Burns effect. Although still images look good after having been imported, when the effects of movement are applied, they become suddenly very grainy and low quality.

The images have been made - the bar above them is yellow - and I tried of many workarounds, including convert images in .psd and using the frame Hold.

What should I do to fix this?

  • First of accidents using still images

I'm working on a project using lots of still images. Before you start, I ran an update on first CC (2015). Ever since first crashes ("schwerwiegender Fehler" in German) every other time I want to open a fixed image of the tray in the monitor. I've tried refresh the media cache and delete all the files preview. Unfortunately, the two do not work.

I'm working on an iMac with 32 GB, 3.5 GHz i7 running OSX Yosemite. Any ideas anyone?

I am grateful for any input on this issue.

    Thank you!

If anyone is interested, I found a work-around, but NOT a solution. My problem disappears when I set the record in the project settings for software only. That slows me down and is annoying but works for now. Always very well looking for a good solution!

  • Why the effects do not work on still images.

Why some effects do not work on still images?

As the active camera or earthquake?

It seems to me that to have an earthquake or the busy camera, a series of images will have to be moved by the software.  In other words, you need a video clip with separate images.  A still is an image.

You might be able to get around that.  Place your image in a dedicated project, a video share/export.  There will be many executives you need.  Report a project like the video rather than as a still.  Then you should be able to apply your chosen effects.

I did not had time to try it, but I think it should work.

  • How to change still image duration?

Imported a long series of still images to a part of a video slide show. The default value has been set at 2.5 seconds, but I need to change the time without having to remove the images and import them all again. Anyone? When trying to select them all and right click to get to speed/duration, I get a window that has this posted for existing life I guess: 00:00:02:18. Any changes I make to this number has zero effect. What Miss me?

  • Still image duration in Prem items 11 (Win 10)

    Hello

I have a number of 1290 x 1080 still images on my calendar and will add more. Once the slideshow has completed, it will be followed by a clip of 1290 x 1080 PAL.

I am currently having each image in the slideshow, which all have a fade in and fade out, to last for 5 seconds each. Is it possible to select all images and setting their 5 second duration equal?

I see this in the preferences:

    Preferences.jpg

If I highlight each image on the timeline by holding down the SHIFT key, I choose 'Still Image default Duration' in preferences? If so, I do not know what that 150 frames is equivalent to the screenshot above. As I say, I'm looking for an equivalent period of 5 seconds.

    Thank you.

I think that we must consider the drive specifications.

But, as I said, there are cases where for compatibility reasons, disc needs a folder with the folder VIDEO_TS and first Elements Audio_TS offers only the VIDEO_TS folder.

But let see if drive specifications will help define the problem of reading.

  • Still images with film

    Hello

I have an AVCHD project with the following attributes (screenshot)

    attributes.jpg

I will record it with the following properties: copy the MP4 - H264 1920 x 1080 24 to 50 fps before re-import in MP4 format to edit and burn a DVD folder on my hard drive in PAL_Widescreen_Dolby DVD.

Before that, I intend to drag still images from 30 + to the timeline that I hope make a slideshow. The idea is that the movie appears after the slide show on the same standard DVD.

Given the dimensions of the film, making my pictures must be of a specific size and resolution, or are they considered two separate
projects even though on the same DVD? The purpose of the photos and the film is exactly the same thing. At present, all the photos, which are unpublished, would have the following dimensions: 96 DPI, 2448px x 3264px (some landscape, portrait).

    Thank you very much

    Steve

From what you wrote, your destination of project is PAL DVD-VIDEO wide screen on a DVD disc.

When you import a file into the project, i.e. predefined project together should correspond to the properties of the source file imported so that you have the correct space in editing for editing area monitor. In your case, you want a space of 16:9 1920 x 1080 in the monitor of this project.

    1. you say you want a 1920 x 1080@50 progressive frames per second source. If the best the project preset should be set accordingly to match the properties of the file.

    Therefore

    The project preset

    PAL

    AVCHD

    HD1080p50

All this can and is done when a regular DVD burner is part of the computer environment. No Blu - ray writer involved in all this.

Export is another matter. As long as you keep the elongation (import and export) compatible (16:9 16:9), you will be OK.

    2. This is now a project of 16:9, for a burn to 16:9 in with the good burn predefined for PAL DVD VIDEO widescreen (DVD PAL_Widescreen_Dolby).

    3. do not forget in this process, the program will take your 1920 x 1080 at 50 progressive frames per second in a format the disk which is described 720 x 576 16:9 @ 25 frames per second interlaced. Burn that screening is not adjustable by the user. Always been like that. When the player gets this DVD disc, it interprets the 16:9 flag so that it stretches the video at about 1050 x 756 16:9 for display on your TV DVD player.

Please let me know if you're OK with the above. If this isn't the case, please indicate where I need to clarify.

    Thank you.
