  Hi... I'm new in the world of flex. I try to integrate the SDS + Spring + Hibernate. I was able to recover data from a Spring bean that accesses a jet of Hibernate database. the only problem is that I can access the data on the arraycollection collection in the mxml code, but not on the script action, where it seems to be empty:

  I am setting up a project using "best of breed" technologies "Flex-Spring-Hibernate" with Maven support, just like our great "todo sample""" http://opensource.adobe.com/svn/opensource/cairngorm3/trunk/samples/todo. "

  But my skills is so limited, so I can't do it by myself. I need an example to follow (even copy/paste). Everything I need is something like our "todo sample" on its own (not an application within the source code of cairngorm3).

  Although I struggled through the development of a simple application that has been put into production, I'm still a beginner in web applications development and JDeveloper (10.1.3.4) is the only IDE I learned to use. At the end of the first application, I went back to read a book (JavaServer Faces, The Complete Reference, 1st ed., by Chris Schalk) to learn JSF, because JDeveloper assumes the user already knows JSF, but I do not and often mix up to what JSF and what are the improvements by ADF.
  
  Having introduced the general concepts of the JSF in the first eight chapters, the book begins to illustrate the details of the working mechanism of the JSF in Chapter 9, using a sample application. To use the sample application (code is downloadable from the website of the book), it is necessary to use either Ant or use Spring Hibernate. I know none of them. JDeveloper is the only thing I know. If I start reading the Ant and Hibernate implementation, I will disappear again and again until I can possibly go back to JSF, and ADF, while he seems to be the work of Ant and Hibernate were all built in JDeveloper.
  
  I wonder if I can use JDeveloper to follow the example of application of the book. But the code provides the author has not a .jws file cannot be loaded by JDeveloper and, even if it is possible, the directory structure from the code files is different from that of JDeveloper.

  JDeveloper is awesome (and of course with the help of the great people here on the OTN forum, I am grateful towards) because it protects all the technology and allows a person like me who knew almost nothing about web technology to focus on the business logic and complete an application. It defeats the purpose if, to learn how to better use JDeveloper, I have to go back to primary school and to trace the evolution of web technology all the way to JSF, and ADF. It would be nice to do, but it will take too long.

• Should I use spring Framework with JSF2 and Hibernate?

  Hi all
  I'm starting to put in place a web portal and I would use JSF2 and Hibernate.
  Now, I don't know JSF2 so I looked for a tutorial.
  I found a tutorial on JSF2 who seems very complete, but in this tutorial, I found an article where the author use Hibernate to the "model section", JSF2 for 'view' section and one is from the "controller" section
  Now I have a doubt, if I can develop a web portal without Spring MVC or I can't develop component of any controller with JSF2?

  Yes, you can do so without Spring MVC. You can develop the portal without using any framework, but if you use the style mvc framework, it will be much easier and simpler. Likewise, you can use framework JSF itself.

Instead, it goes into a hibernation mode that requires you to press the power button to interact with him again. • Mac hibernates while Spotify plays music

  Hello world!

  I came across a problem that I just can't understand how to solve:

  While Spotify is running and playing music, my iMac hibernates after 10 minutes (as it is defined in the menu system).

  It has no sense to me at all.

  I'd be happy if someone has an idea how to solve this problem.

  Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. If your Mac is hibernating but still play music via Spotify. It's a little strange. There may be some settings in your system preferences that can help fix this. Your energy saving settings in the preferences system has an option to wake for network access. Because Spotify uses the internet to stream your music, the Mac isn't really hibernation if this option is selected. Please check these settings and turn it off. You can also put in hibernation of the Mac for more than 10 minutes if you plan on listening to your Spotify. The link below can help with these settings.

  My computer won't go into hibernation while Firefox is running. She will be in hibernation with all other running programs except for Firefox.   Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

  • Under Windows, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
  • On Mac, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key option key when starting Firefox.

  If there is an error in the B slot, the LED will Flash orange and green twice.
