• Errors of unknown compliance for Server e-mail and ds2webb/c

  I hit on all the issues listed in the guide for troubleshooting and down to stay a few elements.  In my last run, I had 5 issues of compliance on a single mosaic:

  Tile0-mailserver-p2

  Tile0-olio-p2

  Tile0-dvdstoreB-p2

  Tile0-dvdstoreC-p2

  deploy

  I think I've fixed deploy them by putting an IP address in the customization to deploy.

  OlioWeb0.wrf beginning of disc error reports.  I increased the disc Go 70, a 100 GB and rerun currently to see if that fixed it.  If there is a better solution, I am open to suggestions.

  I have not any ideas on the mail server or chess dvdstore.

  The only possible issue I see in the mailserver0.wrf is that the actions of mail and the folder are 0.  No idea how to fix this if it is the question.

  The only thing I see in dvdstore wrf files are the entries: newuserxxx user name already exists, where xxx seems to be a random number.  These messages increases with the frequency under test.

  I have found the answer.  Will know for sure in about 3 hours.

  I honly had about 1 GB of free space on client0 fo.  I forgot to clean up the exchange and cygwin installation files.  Clean up these released an another 1.7 GB for 2.7 GB of space.  My guess is that if the client0 lack of space, we could see this question.

• Problem with the Xwindows server where the letter 'g' is constantly typed.

  I installed Cygwin and Cygwin-x, which opens an Xwindows server to display graphics for a program I am writing. Unfortunately, when the xWindows terminal window appears, the letter 'g' starts to get typed, without input from me I have restarted my computer several times and reinstalled Cygwin, but the problem has not disappeared, so I suspect it has something to do with Windows itself. The ghost 'g's only appear in this context, not as long as any other program is running, so I don't think that the key on the keyboard is broken. Do you know any solution for this? Thanks for your help.

  Due to the environment, we are running, I don't know if I can get SSH and Cygwin on each analyzed server configured. We run a Windows environment.
  It is: the installation of the WHO and the agent deployment/installation is possible without Cygwin and SSH? Referring to 11G, I used to clone the home agent and didn't need to use deployed agent function.

  The OEM installation is formidable. The first thing you have to do is to check certification on both server and the client. On the server, you will need to check the OS version, database version, version middleware, etc. Client side, you will need to check what database you want to monitor, what OS is supported by the version of the WHO, etc.

  Please check Oracle support note 406906.1 for more details.

  Once pass you the certification, process control, you will need to launch the installation. On the server, you need to install the database, middleware and CMS. Then you can start to deploy the agent to the monitoring target.

  I found the best way to install OEM is to use the patch 14628038. The patch is 1-step installation OEM. Although the patch is designed for Exadata, it will work fine on the normal platform.

  About Cygwin and SSH, you only need Cygwin, if you want to push the agent on the client computer. If you don't want to push agent to the customer, please follow support Note 1360083.1 for installation in silent mode.

  You will still need to run an X server on the windows for Installer ALUI machine. The popular there are Xming and Cygwin:

  Once you have this race on the desktop, on the linux machine, set the variable to DISPLAY on the windows machine and run the installation program. With of PuTTY (or any ssh client), note that you must also enable X 11 tunneling.

  The problem you are experiencing has not to with the installation program itself. You will have this problem if you run any X application on the linux host on your desktop.

  What is the point of sdsql?     It does not connect, it gives no clue as to why, and it doesn't seem to be any documentation.

• vssadmin run in Cygwin, unregistered class

  I use VSS for a Windows 2008 R2 machine.

  I can run with success "vssadmin list shadows" and other commands in the Cmd from Windows shell.
  But I need to run it through a Cygwin shell, for purposes of remote access.
  I always got error "Class not registered." in the Cygwin shell, I checked the path and variables. The variables are the same. Cmd shell paths are all in the Cygwin shell.

  In continuation with my last post, I have another problem, which may be the same, or it may be different.

  I have 2 dll, a pilot (driver.dll) and a support package (support.dll).

  If support.dll has the MyDLLAllocFunction() function and it is simply:

  void * MyDLLAllocFunction (void) {}

  Return malloc (100);

  }

  And then I do in driver.dll

  void * x;

  x = MyDLLAllocFunction();

  Free;

  I get an error for 'Free', saying that it was not malloc was or would be calloc, but however it is in another DLL. How I'd get all the modules of the library share the same bunch?

  I use WinXP and CVI 9.0.

  I observe this issue with DLLs (support.dll) that has not been compiled with CVI, but where the driver.dll was, for example when I try to use the library PCRE.dll compiled with MINGW32 (under Cygwin) and I do a free().

  I think your two dll use different options 'Run-time support' in the settings of the target, and so their memory management is done in different DLL runtime CVI. If you use the option "Run-time support" even for the allocator and deallocator, then the deallocation will work. But still, it is not very pleasant, because in the future, you can change the runtime support option, or use a different compiler, etc.. So ideally, you should use one of the methods recommended by Luis.

  I created a program that will interview a modem which is connected to the serial port on my pc.  I use the VISA starting functions by the serial port set it up and then I plugged into the function WRITE, then the BYTES to the PORT, then the READ function and finally the CLOSE function.  The problem statement is as follows:

  ~ How do they give answers of my modem in the VI after each command, I send it so I can see his actions and ultimately to report query out of it?

  Furthermore, I don't know if my commands syntax is correct.  Otherwise, I used a program called cygwin interface and a single command, I used is "ssh root@"ipaddress"[enter] This brings me to my modem connection control.  The cygwin command syntax would work with my labVIEW VI? If not, then how can I know what the command syntax to use to query my modem to LabVIEW?

  It seems that you have some apples and oranges here. Cygwin is a Linux for Windows environment. It gives you a bit of Linux look-and-feel in Windows. SSH is a secure, shell, which is a network protocol, not RS - 232. The serial port is a different interface. It may or may not have the same commands that you use on ssh - the manual will tell you that.

  Regarding the serial interface that you want to do, it looks like you want to just do something like what did the old LVTerm . You can give that VI a test to see if it does what you want.

• How to partition a Windows 10 XPS 15 9550 and safely add Linux?

  I just got my new XPS 15 and (cautiously) implemented as a workaholic scientific data. Windows 10 will be my main o/s, but I also want Linux.

  There is so much discussion on the forum I do not know what direction to follow.  It seems that the risk of dual-boot installation wiping areas of recovery Dell o/s during the partitioning of the disk.  So, it might be safer to just run Linux from a flash drive (or even run cygwin).

  On the other hand, it seems crazy to not partition a 1 TB drive, in any case. (On my desktop on measure I have partitions for operating systems, programs and data).  So, I need to know how to partition without risk - whether or not I put Linux on one.

  Are there standard operating procedures or guidelines of Dell on the partitioning and Configuring Linux in a dual-boot environment?

  With dual-booting Linux and Windows, the Windows boot loader is not used - you are using the Linux boot loader (unless you choose the WUBI installation. Modern Linux distributions can use UEFI, and some can even use Safe Boot. Turn off Safe Boot in the BIOS and install Linux. Linux boot loader will be used and will give you the option to start Windows or Linux.

  A graphical interface which requires me to work in step by step mode (in particular to implement a relatively simple configuration of the shared key) with no idea of what irrelevant or confusing questions await us doing me no favor.  And while this computer uses Windows 7, the eventual target can use something older or newer.  I want to do is create the portable equivalent of a preferred scenario, no instructions to repeat the time-consuming and confusing.  This approach exist?  (I already checked cygwin and there seems to be no support for the ip packet, and even if there were, it seems not support sudo is.)

• Annoying warnings in .jar built and creates this link with pots...

  I build with JDE 4.7 for Storm.

  Construction of my library as a .jar file, translates "functionname" warning do not called...

  I get a lot of those, as clearly in a library generation, very little of the library functions are invoked... why would they? How to remove this warning?

  Next issue is then linking another file with this library, I get functions that are not called the same cautionary. I think that in this case only the static functions not called not giving me this message...

  Well, right now I have the JDE since I am using the debugger + emulator but for

  building, I just scripts that I derived from the build log JDE. I never tried to export all

  from the JDE proj/workspace files but I had to look briefly to understand

  the tools a little command. All I have is the bash scripts that call rim

  tools and things like curl to upload and g ++ preprocessor or sed/awk for simpler

  customization tasks (I guess in retorspect that it could be made with the preprocessor)

  but originally, I was trying to avoid what turned out be a mistake. )

  I cleaned up a bunch of stuff when I joined the subversion and I found myself with

  the short build scripts that run a script called 'setup' in the local directory to obtain lists of

  source files. Build or need specific options, and then go in different scripts do.

  It works well as good now I can modify the code, run up arrow shot ".» "/ mymake ' for

  a new building then '. '. "/ 8130sh" to launch the emulator in a separate window or '. '. ' / mypost1 ' to

  Man and post the cod of the file on a server for the test on phone (which is actually always

  faster than the emulator biking because I did not have to restart the phone for this simplified test app 20 k).

  Cygwin is fairly complete, but eventually you want to collect a bunch of utilities

  to deal with the Windoze and other issues. For situations where you want to integrate it

  data or code from different suppliers, it is really the only way to go as far as I KNOW.
