SE raw tension of the NI 9237

Hello

I have a load cell connected to a NI 9237 module and she's excited to 10V. I would like to read the voltage of the load without the scale cell to get the output voltage.

Thank you for your time

Hi Robert.  The short answer is you can't.  The NI 9237 returns a value of ratiometric means that the data you get back is in mV/V, a unitless measure.  The unit performs the division in the material that allows for a more accurate reading because it uses the actual voltage in the calculation, but this scale cannot be disabled.

  • How to separate the Raw files of the photo library

My photo library is over 700 GB. I have a lot of raw files that are 30 MB or more. How can we separate the raw files in a separate file or a separate library?

Duplicate your photos library in the Finder and then remove all the BULLIES of the first library photos and all photos that are not the RAW files of the second library.

You can search for RAW photos with a smart album:

    File > new Smart Album

Then set the rule set to "picture is GROSS."

Of the other library use the rule 'The Photo is not BELIEVED'.

  • How can I access the original RAW file from the camera of the Iphone?

Hello community. I work with professional photography. I talked to my colleagues for the quality of the pictures we take with our Iphones.  There are many filtering and strengthen and interpolation in the original photo app process of apples. I wonder if there is a way to access the original raw data to the chip in a camera of the iphone (from iphone iPhone 5 6 for the next Iphone.) I think that a lot of people engaged in photography smartphone could benefit from accessing the original raw (not emulation, no simulations) files.

    I appreciate your answers.

Currently on iOS 9, you can get the RAW of the stock camera app, or any other application photos. However, the app '645 PRO MKIII' did take pictures and store them in unprocessed TIFF formats, which is as close as possible. However, Apple is expected to push back the FIRST support in iOS 10 with third-party apps, no word on the stock soft well.

    Hey invzbl_rkl,

The NI 9237 - can do both remote sensing and Shunt calibration. You can see the details on how to connect the bridge in the USB-9237 user guide and more details about compensation in the article attached Developer Zone on measurement of strain.

  • level of tension for the serial port sbRIO

    What are the levels of RS - 232 votage on sbRIO serial ports?  Signal levels might be: 3.3 V, ± 5 V, ± 10 V, ±12 V and ± 15 V?   ±12 v what I often see for a direct connection to the serial port of a PC.

    Hi Matthew,

The signal levels to the sbRIO-9605/06/23/26/33/36 are ±5V. I took a quick screenshot of TX W.R.T. GND. Tensions in the data sheet the standard ±5.4V (typical) loading with 3 k and a minum of ±5.0V. The RS-232 standard can accept a pretty big swing however (-3V to-25V) and (+ 3V to + 25V) for two levels of logic. The screen was shot I took with a unloadeed line so the voltage levels appear to be higher than most.

The transceiver set used is the MAX3243.

  • The cable with the NI 9237 Position sensor

    Hello

I have a NI 9237 Half/Full-bridge analog input module. Recently, I acquired a position sensor led cable, which is essentially a potentiometer. You can find the schema from the link below or in the attachment.

    http://www.celesco.com/_datasheets/SP2.PDF

I realized the NI 9237 requires a half-bridge or full-bridge circuit in the transducer, but apparently the potentiometer is not a bridge circuit, and when I connect the terminals output and excitement to the module, I am not able to measure voltage or resistance. Do you know some way I can use NI 9237 to measure the potentiometer?

    Thank you!

    larryklee

Unfortunately, if your source is not designed for operation in a bridge circuit, you're probably not use the 9237 to take your measurements.  At this point, I would recommend a standard voltage input module.  I think you might find this worth reading.

  • 'voltage design' vs real 'tension' in the power manager

Just today, all around the navigation in the power manager, I noticed that the values of 'design' and 'tension' on the 'battery' tab are different! The "design power" reads 11.10V, while the 'tension' reads 12.06V.

I feel that it is actually normal... but maybe someone can confirm my suspicions? Out of curiosity, why these two values differ and what that means?

I use using a T510 running on win7 x 64, if this is no help at all.

voltage will drop over time, while the nominal voltage provides a constant reference point to tell you what kind of condition is in your battery, and if it needs to be replaced.

  • A RAW workflow on the iPad - first impressions

Since Adobe released Lightroom Mobile 2.4, which includes support for editing RAW files, I did experiments with the help of my iPad Pro as part of my photography work that I wanted to find a way to use the iPad as a desktop replacement for when I'm away from home. I wanted to share with you my experience, who has managed for the most part so far.

The workflow allows me to use my iPad Pro apply enhancements to RAW images (.cr2) taken with my digital camera to edit and share directly from the iPad, or for mounting on Office of Lightroom on PC when I'm at home.

First of all, for this test the following was used:

    • iPad Pro 9.7 "iOS10 running beta 3, iCloud library active
    • Lightroom 2.4 with subscription cloud creative mobile
    • Lightroom CC 15.6.1 on Windows PC 10.
    • Lightning to (version 2016) SD card reader
    • SanDisk Extreme SDHC I have SD Card
    • account iCloud with 50 GB storage plan
    • Connection of 50 MB fibre broadband

For the test, I took 216 photos with my Canon G7X in RAW and JPEG mode. Then, I realized that I had to remove JPEG copies like the iPad will read only the JPEG where there is a RAW and JPEG files under the same filename. The workflow is the following:

    1. Insert the SD card in lightning to SD card reader and insert it to the iPad.
    2. The iPad to display the import dialog box and thumbnails of your RAW images will begin to load. Choose select all and Import of Photos (you don't have to wait for the thumbnails to load). It took 2 minutes and 45 seconds to download the RAW 213 files to the iPad, which are about 19 MB each; It is approximately 1.3 seconds per photo. If you are connected to WiFi and have a space of storage iCloud, the original RAW images will begin to be saved on iCloud instantly - you can check it out by going to www.icloud.com.
    3. The Photos app, select Albums > last import > select > select all > Add To > New Album (album name).
    4. With the photos in an album, you can browse and take down the images that you do not want (Note: remove them only sends the recently deleted folder, which permanently deletes the photos after 30 days).
    5. Open Lightroom Mobile. Either import the images into Lightroom, by creating a new Collection: Add of Photos (my preferred method), or by choosing Camera Roll > (drop-down) > Select Album (album to choose or open recently removed).
    6. You will notice a small symbol RAW in the middle of the thumbnails indicating that they are RAW files. Click on... > select all > Add the Photos.
    7. The images will be added to Lightroom Mobile and you can start to make changes on the iPad. Original RAW (no Smart Previews) images are then synced to Lightroom via creative cloud office and will appear in your folders organized as if you imported the directly to the PC. (It is important to note that the original RAW file is now saved on your PC in the same organizational structure of folder you would expect if you were to be imported directly to the office of Lightroom)
. All changes made to LR Mobile will be synchronized on LR Desktop.
  • Once photos are synced to creative cloud severs, you can then remove your iPad Camera Roll to free up storage space (or, if you have enough iCloud of storage, you can free up storage leaving iCloud automatically manages your storage unit so you never run out of space).
  • Overall, I found the process very simple and the new iPad has more than enough processing power to be able to handle the RAW image editing. It also has a very beautiful high resolution screen. Indeed, during the operation it is much faster than my HP laptop running Windows 10. In addition, unlike the desktop version, LR Mobile uses fully real estate screen on the iPad in edit mode, which makes it easier to use than the complete Lightroom running on smaller laptops.

The main limitation for me is that I still have to make some progress editing such as merging HDR and panorama LR Office, but because LR Mobile syncs across the original RAW images on the cloud, the transition between the mobile and desktop is seamless.

I hope that some people will find this useful. It's great to finally have almost complete office on the iPad's capability, and I think it's really going to transform my photography workflow.

Thanks for this detailed writing. I was curious and wanting to give it a try, but have not had the chance to yet.

  • Loading of RAW images in a RAW converter in the elements

I recently spent PC Apple Mac (OSX - 10.11 El Capitan) and running of 12 elements.

I also gained a new camera - Canon760d - which was published in England around July 2015.

Tried to drag the RAW files from the desktop in the editor should open the RAW converter, but I get a message box that says that my camera model is not recognized.

I noticed that adobe suggests that the minimum card required for this camera is "8.8,9.0".

I try to day/load this card from help items > updates from the editor and can get the download to start. Halfway however, a message appears that the editor should be closed. It's the same Editor, you need to download in the first place! At the close of the Publisher, as requested, the download cannot be restarted. It just freezes.

How can I get out of this and get the updates Canon camera RAW details loaded in elements? Adobe support couldn't attend.

Photoshop elements only supports up to Camera raw 8.5.Canon 760D requires that Camera raw 8.8 or later.

You must upgrade to 14 PES or use the DNG Converter.

    Kind regards

    Assani

  • Every time I make an external edition with 12 LR6 elements it tells me I need Camera Raw 9, but the elements will not update to Camera Raw 8.5. How to stop this message pop up?

Can I stop this pop up does not happen? Or is there a work-around that will get Camera Raw 9 install on 12 items?

    spinner498 wrote:

Here, I'm a bit confused. The message, in LR long before the opening of the elements. I don't see this as a question of items other than the items will not be upgraded past 8.5. It's a LR definition probably

It is actually both a Lightroom and Photoshop Elements problem. The version of Lightroom you are using search Camera Raw 9 to make sure that the image is properly translated when it transfers from Lightroom to Photoshop Elements. Lightroom can see that you have only the version of camera raw. Lightroom notifies you as well as the transition between Lightroom and elements might not transfer all adjustments using Lightroom. So, it should give a free choice either way you or edit a copy with Lightroom adjustments. The second option is the one you should choose. Then Lightroom will create a TIF or PSD file (depending on your external editing options) and send this file to the elements. The only way you can completely solve this problem is to have a version of Photoshop Elements, which is fairly new to use the same version of camera raw that Lightroom is looking for. If you don't want to upgrade your version of elements, then you should choose the option to edit a copy with Lightroom adjustments.

Camera Raw is used when you transfer the file from Lightroom to elements to translate the raw settings and create an image that can be edited in the elements. By itself without camera raw, Photoshop Elements cannot change raw images. The image must be converted before its opening in Photoshop Elements.

  • Location of the camera raw cache on the same drive as LR?

I know that cache camera raw should be the fastest disk for optimal performance.

I was wondering if it should be on the same drive as the catalog, or isn't it important?

I wonder whether or not you will be able to detect a difference. My Camera Raw cache is on the same drive with my Lightroom Catalog program. But I installed an SSD. Once Lightroom is loaded and running, I couldn't determine a difference in performance. The program loads faster, but as soon as it is running I could not see a real difference.
