  OK - leaning on the old version of how to cut the transparent tab found on another thread:

  • Seamless tab is enabled by default. You can disable it with a simple editing of the file .html of the lesson in your publication.
    1. Open the html file in Notepad.
    2. Locate the line that defines your flash animation. It will look like:
       
       var so = new SWFObject ("youProjectName.swf", "Captivate", "640", "511", "10", "#CCCCCC");
    3. Just after this line, insert this line:

  My problem is this line in #2 above "var so = new SWFObject ("youProjectName.swf","Captivate","640 ","511"", 10","#CCCCCC"); " does not yet exist in the html of Captivate 6.01.240 file that looks like this:

  so - since I have a class that makes my tab of accessibility through the LMS window tester at least twice on every slide before entering the course - turn off seamless tabbing will keep the focus in the course file? If this isn't the case - what will be?

  Are you edition of SCORM? Output SCORM changed with 6 Captivate, and now it's another file you have to edit to add transparent tab (although in 7 they added an option at the time of publication, I think). Try to open the SCORM_utilities.js if you have it and look at the end of the file. You should see something like this:

  As the agglomerates that will set your specific question, I do not know, but it's worth a try.

• Button TAB in IE 8

• Tab key does not work in your published movie

  I use Captivate 5.5 and created a movie where I the user typing in a text box, and then press Tab to continue.  It works fine in preview mode.  However, in the published result, the user presses Tab and the cursor jumps to the address URL line, then the search box in my browser.

  I don't have this problem with the version of the film that I created without a table of contents, so I guess it has something to do with the table of contents, I added.  However, I really want to the table of contents is available to give my users a way to navigate.

  Anyone know why this is happening?

  Hello

  The function that causes the TAB key to work for the browser instead of your project is called "Seamless tabbing".

  To retrieve workng for your project (inclusing TOC) on Internet Explorer (I assume that you are working under Windows), please follow the steps below:

  1. open the html file (generated by Captivate) in Notepad.

  2. find the line that defines your flash animation. It will look like:

  var so = new SWFObject ("youProjectName.swf", "Captivate", "640", "511", "10", "#CCCCCC");

  
  

  3. immediately after this line, insert this line:

  so.addParam ("seamlessTabbing", "false");

  
  

  4. your code will now look like this:

  var so = new SWFObject ("yourProjectName.swf", "Captivate", "640", "511", "10", "#CCCCCC");
    so.addParam ("seamlessTabbing", "false");

  Now save the file and then open it in Internet Explorer. I tried with Internet Explorer and Google Chrome. It has worked well for me on both.

• Captivate Slide is a loop automatically

  Captivate 8 slides of software simulation automatically rewinds to the previous slide.  How it stop doing that?  It has happened twice in my project.  When I'm on the slide that loop back, rewind on the skin button is highlighted, but I didn't click it.

  You should check Seamless tab option.

• Captivate 7 controls video playback event does not

  I use 7 Captivate and released a video of an event with playback controls limited mp4 (only play, pause, return and close) on the slide, since the video control event will not be displayed when published. When I publish HTML5 video (with or without seamless tabbing) controls do not work. When I click on play video games and I can pause, but when I want to keep playing, the controls do not work.

  I tried only to use the skins (clear, corona and halo) given to the video event, but then I can't pause the video at all, because the controls are not displayed.

  We need the video to play HTML5 for iPad and computers, but we are at a loss with the controls. Video has got to be limited only to play, pause, back, and don't close - no cleaning or transfer. Any ideas?

  So, it turns out that Captivate just need an update again. Now, video mp4 on several slides works very well on all devices. I had to upgrade to version 7.0.1.237

• Pages InDesign 5.5 gel tab

  I work with a 32-bit version of InDesign 5.5; Recently, I upgraded my Dell Studio 15 to 10 Windows. I have a processor Intel i5 with 6 GB of RAM.

  While working on a portfolio of about 70 pages, I noticed a decrease in performance and response within the program. In particular, thumbnails page tab locked pages and refused to update. This, of course, makes the extremely difficult document to navigate. I thought that the file may be making too big so I split it into two and recorded as two smaller files. This does not solve the problem. Since then, I discovered a way to force the error to occur. All I have to do is enter in the view, leave a few gaps to load, then exit at the interface of work as well as the tab pages is frozen. I can still work on the document, slowly, but have found that the best work around is to save the file, close the program and restart the application. This returns the program return to normal activities... for a while. Is this a known issue? A that someone finds a permanent solution? I tried to look online, but all discussions I've found focuses on the latest version of InDesign on the cloud...

  Update directly from Windows 7 to Windows 10 is a bit of a roll of the dice. Microsoft has done a great job and my 8.1 to 10 upgrade was seamless, but 7, you will need to wait for questions. I was totally ready to do a clean install after the upgrade.

  My advice is to do a clean install of win 10 before do you anything else, and to be aware that CS5.5 is not supported under him. The i5 isn't all that horrible but the 6 GB is quite low. I guess you have a 64-bit version of Windows, but CS5.5 is only 32 bits if you have this limitation as well.

  Even to go to CS6 would be an improvement and your license CS5.5 qualifies you for an upgrade.

• cmd + tab

  After the upgrade to Sierra, cmd + tab for switching the app does not work like it used to El Capitan and the previous OS versions. When I select an application using cmd - tab, it just goes to show that the app name in the menu bar, but the window itself will not open/come to the front. I use spaces and reviewing mission control prefs and nothing I can see to get this corrected. In addition, in the version previous, if I went from one space to another, then the Finder would go to the background (since it is attributed to all desktop computers) and the other app in this specific office would be at the forefront. This is no longer the case after the Sierra. (for example in the screenshot, I cmd-tab in itunes, which shows in the menu bar, but does not switch to itunes)

  Go to Preferences-> Mission control system and see if

  "When you make an application, switch to a space with windows open to the application.

  is CHECKED. If it is not, then you will need to check.

  If this is the case, try to uncheck and check again to see if glue.

• New shortcut Tab identical to display fonts

  Trying to open new tabs in the Mail application.  The shortcut that is supposed to work anywhere - order T - is the same shortcut as display fonts so that it always opens the window fonts.  What shortcut should we use in Mail if we want a new tab?

  Tabs Mail is quite like tabs in Safari. My humble opinion calling tabs is a bit misleading.

  Expand the Mail in full screen (move the pointer to the upper left corner of the display of the messages and click full screen), and then do one of the following:

  • Start a new message: In the Viewer, click the new Message button; the message slides up from the bottom of the screen so you can address and write your message. To start and work on additional messages at the same time, choose file > new, or press Command-N. Each new message is in its own tab; Click on a tab to work on the message. To close all tabs except the one you work, Option + click the button close tab, you are in.
  • Show the Viewer: Click anywhere in the message viewer, outside your message; messages that you are working on the slide to the bottom of the screen. Use the Viewer to read the messages you receive, search for messagesand more. To return to your message, click on the tab at the bottom of the screen.
  • Send a message: Click on the button send in the toolbar of the message; If you work on multiple messages, be sure to first, click the tab that you want to send.
  • Record a message to project: Click the close button in the toolbar of the message (or the close button on the tab message, if you have several open drafts), and then click Save. If you work on multiple messages, you are prompted if you want to save each of them.
  • Open a message from project: Select project message in the message viewer, move the pointer to the top of the screen, and choose file > open Message. If you work on multiple messages, a new tab is added to the project that you opened.

  To stop working with e-mail in mode full screen, move the pointer to the top left corner of the screen, and then click the full screen output .

• Command + click to open the link to the new tab will work not (Sierra)

  I don't know if I did something to the definition mousepad, command key + left mouse will not work to open the link to a new tab someone knows how to fix this? Not sure if it's related problem Sierra but it worked until I updated to Sierra.

  It works fine here running Sierra and Safari. You have activated your tab bar? Check the menu display of Safari.

• Applications using cmd + tab switching does not work (reverse return) when you use several spaces in the Sierra

  I usually have a lot of apps open it in full screen across a number of different areas.  In El Capitan, when I used cmd + tab to switch apps, it would just go directly to the application in the entire app was opened in.  Now, he tries to switch to the app, but then IMMEDIATELY switches to the space, in that I was already.  It's like if someone is sitting there playing this cruel on me joke where whenever I try to go to the app, it shows to me and then immediately sent me immediately.  Everyone knows something similar to this?

  To re-create the problem, have a few apps open it in full screen in different spaces, then try to switch to another application in another space using cmd + tab or try to switch to an application that is just open on the main office space.  It comes immediately rebascule on your original app!  I'm ready to tear my hair out!

• Tabs not working not not on mail

  Just upgraded to macOS sierra. Went well. I looked forward to the use of tabs in the mail, but it does not work. Tabs work fine maps and text editing. And of course Safari, but not in the Mail.

  I have the Mail app running hand, select 'new Message, then "merge all windows, nothing happens." See the tabs bar"is checked and the work.

  Any tips?

  Yours is probably the clearest explanation of the issue of iTunes with the "artists". Could you put a picture of the "artist's impression" so that we can see the problem?

  (I guess that other "views" - recently added, Albums, songs and Genres - work very well.
