• Search between Dates

  It's confusing, so I'll do my best to explain.
  
  We have an application where employees sign out of the office. They provide it userID, LeaveDate and ReturnDate and it is written in a single record in SQL.
  
  There are also several searches for this data, which is to enter a user name and two dates and return if this user is disconnected between these two dates if the LeaveDate is now between the two search dates.
  
  The problem is that if someone was taken out of the 8 to 15, and a search was made on them for the 11th to the 13th, he would not return anything that either since the (8th) LeaveDate do not fall between the two search dates.
  
  So now, I am loaded with a way to solve this problem. Is there a search between dates and determine whether any date within this range is in the range of dates that the employee is disconnected? Is it possible, when the employee signs, create a record for each date in the span of days they have disappeared? So if someone out of the 10th to the 12th, it would create three different entries.
  
  Any help is appreciated.

  Start by creating some examples of date that will cover all the possibilities. As

  If the dates of research are:

  Search Start = 11
  End of search = 13

  You want to include these cases

  1 Date1 is before you start to search for... AND. Date2 is between start and end search
  Example: 6 to 13

  2 Date1 is between start and end search... AND... Date2 is after end search
  Example: 9th and 17th

  3 Date1 is between start and end search... AND... Date2 is between start and end search
  Example: 7-12

  4 Date1 is before you start to search for... AND... Date2 is the result of research
  Example: 5-21

  Then translate these terms to sql and test with some sample values. If your fields contain dates that comparisons are simple. If they contain a date and time don't forget to report both in your comparisons.

  There are better ways to write this, but here's an example of how you might begin to translate the above 4 conditions. Once you have the job of the initial query, you can improve the sql.

  Pseudo-CF/SQL

  WHERE (Date1< #start#="" and="" date2="" between="" #start#="" and="" #end#="">
  OR (Date1 BETWEEN #Start # AND #End # AND Date2 > #End #)
  OR (Date1 BETWEEN #Start # AND #End # AND Date2 BETWEEN #Start # AND #End #)

• need help for where and how to search for apps you want in windows store 8

  I just bought a SAMSUNG ATIV TAB 3 (XE300TZC), it has WINDOWS 8.  I went to the store Windows on my windows 8 to start the download of all my apps that I like and I found some of the apps and downloaded. But many of the apps I want to I don't think because I've noticed that it is not an option or small box for me to be able to get all the apps... I guess my question is how a search for specific applications on my STORE of WINDOWS 8?

• Sharing photos between apps?

  Many third party apps, to import photos, can only look for them within the app Photos (because no file on iOS system). So, to get them in the Photos from another application, you must export them from this application.

  Unfortunately, I'm looking in the menu share standard integrated iOS (share icon), and I do not see a part of option of Photos! I see no email, Pocket, Evernote, Apple Notes, reminders, etc. but not pictures!

  I looked at more... option and no pictures here. I even tried sharing notes of Apple and then trying to share photos from there, but who took me to Safari and there is still no share option Photos here!

  How the hell can I get pictures of an application in the Photos app?

We have also a few other search parameters... so we created a view of criteria with all the search fields... We are not able to achieve the results as desired due date conversion problems... • Plug variences between apps?

  Someone sent me a photoshop file (exported from illustrator) and sent a data sheet for exact fonts and sizes etc.

  You try to translate between two completely different backgrounds: web and print.

  You can't necessarily translate font for the 100% web. Depends on exactly how you code them.

• BlackBerry Z10 BB10.3 Alpha huge blunder: copy / paste between apps does not work

  Any expert knows how to solve the problem? I guess I'll have to go back to BB10.2.

  After a lot of reload and load from the rear, I discovered that the bug is not in BB10.3. The problem is in the connection of BlackBerry which was not able to restore applications under 10.2 as well. All android applications might stop working. Remove and reinstall would also fail over and over again. While the new 10.3 team doing great. It was a mess, left there by the previous team.

  Also the BlackBerry restart too... slow. Hope John Chen is Steve Jobs of BlackBerry.

• Music App (and search) on tvOS 10 does not

  I use two Apple TV (4th generation) with tvOS 10.

  After update to the last TVos and resetting Apple TV I'm more able to use music and the AP on the two Apple TV research.

  After the application starts music, the screen remains white fuzzy no content at all. The behavior remains the same, if an Apple ID account is installed or not. If it is then I'll be able to see and play my last albums purchased on the home screen. Otherwise Apple's music albums will be shown, which I am unable to play because my Apple's music album is expired.

  The search screen App is also white without content. Siri is disabled.

  Reset Apple TV even with re - apply the update did not help.

  I am located in Switzerland. My provider is Swisscom (network 178.194.0.0/15 AS3303).

  Try the following.

  1. Press the menu button on the remote control twice to activate the application launcher, scroll left/right to search and select the application that you are having a problem with and slide up to close (exit). Relaunch the application from the menu screen to check if it works now.

• App Store search

  I just got my first iPhone (6 s), and I have problems with the App Store.  Sometimes, when I run a search, nothing happens.  I an type entry, click on 'Search' and him just app store takes me the last app I looked at and does not give me a list of options related to the expression that just, I've looked.

  I never had this problem with my Android phone.  The only way around is to restart the iPhone.

  I cannot and will not reboot my iPhone whenever I want to look for an app.

  Everyone knows this?  A search simple app should not cause these headaches, and I'll be back my iPhone and go back to Android, if I can't find a solution.

  Try to reset the App Store:

  Close the App Store completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and slide up the App Store preview pane until it disappears from the display. Then sign out of the iTunes Store (in the settings).

  Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

  Then reconnect to the iTunes Store.

  Also try by going to settings > general > Restrictions > and make sure that iTunes Store, Apps install, delete the Apps and In - App purchases are all under the section allow.
