  Hi all

  I saw that a lot of people have had problems with W7 search on indexed locations, but I have problems with research on a mapped network drive.

  I'm looking for a file with the word "work" in the name of the file (file Excel) and I can see it in Explorer but research doesn't seem to be able to find it. I have not indexed location and only want it is a network drive and is big enough and I rarely research it so what I want to search Windows to do is trawl in the files at this location and tell me when it finds one that matches my search criteria.   I had the same problem, but I found that when I typed in the search box and clicked on the "see more results", I could click on custom and define which drive I wanted it looks without having to be indexed. It took a while for her to run, but he has finally found the file I was looking for.

  I understand that you want to install the app on the Surface RT Heartmath. However, you may not install all the apps on Surface RT by design and you have to go Windows Store and install apps available.

  If you try to put photos of your contacts, showing the white figure in the people App, then I'm sorry to inform you that this can be done with the people App. This is because; the people App does not work like the other application to management of Contact where the contacts are stored in a local file on the computer. In People Soft, contacts are not saved to a local file. It is linked with the online account of that special person that you added to the App people.

  For example, if you add your Facebook account to the people App, all contacts that it will be shown in the people App, but they are not saved locally. It is just linked to your Facebook account. Thus, the image of a particular contact will change unless the account holder he spends his account.

  To follow cache icon rebuild the below steps.

  a. Open Folder Options to select (round) display the hidden files and folders.

  b. open a Windows Explorer window.

  c. go to C:\Users\(User Name) \AppData\Local
  d. right-click on IconCache.db and click on delete.

  e. click Yes to confirm the deletion.

  NOTE: This removes the file to the trash. It is safe to empty the trash when you are done.

  f. close the window.

  g emptying the trash.

  h. restart the computer.

  i. When you come back, you will notice the size of the file IconCache.db is reduced, and the update is now the current date. (See screenshot below)
  NOTE: If for some reason any IconCache.db isn't there or the size has not changed much, then just restart the computer again. You may need to restart a few times in some cases.

  j. the icon cache has been rebuilt.
