  You can't and don't need to use Windows Defender on Vista, when you use Microsoft Security Essentials.

• Security issues with workbook

  Hi all
  
  When I log in discoverer with responsibility 'a' I am able to see the output of the particular workbook.
  
  But when the same workbook ran by another user with differnet incongruous 'b' and with the same settings, it receives the message as ' ' the query caused no data to return.
  
  There seems to be some security issues. Can a good man trying to explain the process why the user is not able to display the output. To resolve this problem, what are the actions I have to do.

  The security package verifies that the current user can see the Organization passed as a parameter. • issue with tables and clusters

  Another issue with the tables and clusters. I have three engines thatI move on XYZ and then measure something. I need to draw on the 3D, the result of the measurement. How to draw real XYZ and not the index of the data table positions? (I can't actully how to build the matrices 2D forX, Y and Z). In the figures, I give an example of what I need.

  You have to break the data out of the cluster and to present them to the graph 3d to a separate bays for X, Y, Z and W where 'W' is your values measured at the locations described by X, Y, Z.

• Database update issue with JavaScript and local storage

  I come from a PHP background and a newbie with HTML5 and JavaScript, and local storage

  
  

  Currently I'm building a mobile web application that uses a remote database.

  I have a question about the update database.

  Currently, I set it up so that when the user logs on successfully - Local Storage fields are loaded from the remote database query using a jQuery.Get. This seems to work well.

  When it's time to update the data, I fill the form in local storage, allow the user edit fields, then:

  -a form post to send data to the remote php page that updates the database...

  Here is where I have a question: How can I make sure the edit went through good - what is better to do it now?

  -Can I set up a json response to say whether or not the update was successful

  or

  -Query the database once more and recover the fields to compare the edit results

  or

  -Another technique to do of course change it went through OK

  - then if successful, I can update the local storage

  Q: what is the best way to ensure that the database has been correctly updated (and also not lose time with Access database useless)?

  Is there a recommended for this?

  In addition, if possible this beginner can use a clear example...

  Why not to use jquery get () callback status where if the success is returned then to update local storage?

• compatibility issues with WRT610N and WMP300N security mode

  Greetings from the experts out there. I have adsl AM300 + WRT610N pulled upward at home my receiving office on WMP300N wireless broadcasting (only 2.4 GHz wireless signal that I have disabled 5.0 GHz for troubleshooting). Get the best connection with the configuration below (WEP without authentication). I tested with WPA, WPA2, WEP with shared authentication. All these 3 combinations security mode does not allow my office to connect to my WRT610N router, which leads me to assume that there might be a problem with a pilot of the aircraft. The only link that almost succeeded was with WPA2 because I managed to get the LAN connected but not being is not able to connect to internet via AM300 so I have concluded that it is another problem too.

  (1) are you able to get a good market condition the Internet connection, using a computer that is connected to the WRT610N?

  (2) are you able to get a good market condition the Internet connection, using a computer which is connected wireless to the WRT610N, when no encryption is used?

  If the answer 1 and 2 is Yes, then:

  First of all, give your network a unique SSID. Do not use "linksys". If you use "linksys", you can try to connect the router to your neighbor. Also set 'SSID Broadcast' to 'active '. This will help your computer to find and lock on the signal from your router.

  In addition, in the computer, go to your wireless software and go to 'Favorite networks' (sometimes called 'Profiles'). There are probably a few listed networks. Remove any network called "linksys". Also remove any network that you don't recognize or that you no longer use.  Delete your current network (this will remove all old settings.)  Restart the computer.  Return to "Preferred networks" and re-enter your current info from the network (SSID, encryption (if any) and key (if any)). Select your current network and make your network by default, then set it to auto login. You may need to go to 'settings' to do this, or you may need to right click on your network and select 'Properties' or 'settings '.  Restart the computer.  The computer should automatically connect to your router (this may take up to 2 minutes).  If you're still having problems, temporarily disable your software firewall computer, then try again.

  Note: For WEP, enter 'key WEP 1' (found in the router) in your computer, not the WEP password or passphrase.

  If the above does not solve your problem, download and install the latest driver for your computer's wireless network adapter.

• HP Pavilion g6-1232sl Notebook: error with Win7 and AMD Radeon HD 43 7400

  After you have reinstalled Win7 64 on my HP Pavilion laptop 1232sl g6, I get error 43 with the AMD Radeeon HD 7400 Appliance.

  I have download and installed an update of the driver from the site of AMD, but this does not resolve the issue.

  Any suggestions?

  BTW, the reinstallation of Win7 the 'sleep' feature is no longer available (it is gray). Can it be related to error 43?

  Thank you for your response.  Yes, it is important to remove the existing drivers first and then restart the computer to make it work. Please try again and proceed exactly as I have laid out for you. As you already have the driver downloaded, you can omit the first step.

• Win7 and CS4 brush questions +.

  I had CS4 on my computer when I switched to Win7. Since then, my brush, in larger sizes, was an odd oval V. In addition, the zoom tool does not correctly. I tried to update CS4 and it fails. I removed the preferences file and changed the size of my text, such as recommended. I just uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing works. Any suggestions?

  OK, it's a laptop. I should have asked this question.  The extended part shows a mobile Intel express chipset. Unless the manufacturer of the laptop is updating the chipset it not there no updates for it.

  As gener7 pointed out, it looks like the Intel express chipset will not correctly work with CS4. I would look to see if there is any updates to driver for it.

  OK, I found the update page for intel. Given that you have installed windows 7, I think that maybe you do not have some updates that are on this page. You must choose windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit. When you do this a list will be displayed. Read those who say makes you just install the operating system. Also, there is an Intel Chipset Identification Utility, which looks pretty new, which may require download. Can't hurt.

  When you download the desktop, make sure that you right-click on the icon and run as admin. Reboot too. Hope this helps, or because you just bought the laptop support people are able to help you if need be.

  You can also go the laptop support site to see if there are any windows 7 updates. I would like to do this first.

Now, I have tried 3 times reset by e-mail. It will not work. What is going on? Is the site broken?

  You cannot reset the Security Questions If you forgot the. You can only reset them if you know them (which means that you also know your password).

  Let me start by saying that I have already disabled UAC on my Vista machine because I have trouble trying to do simple things like rename or delete a directory that I created.  Now, I have a problem with Zip files.  It seems that when I try to open a zip file that is sent to me by email I receive now an error message stating:

  Hi Rick,

  Your image has not come through.  What type of program you use for email? This happens with all files zip or just this one?

  Try to right click on the file and save it.  Scan it with your antivirus to make sure.  Right-click on the file that you saved, and then select Properties.  Look down and see if there is an entry of security telling you that the file is blocked.  If you are sure that it is virus-free, click the Unlock button.

  I could not connect on my laptop, the said invalid user profile.  Then I found a unauthorized access to my Microsoft Account which took place the same day a security update has been through.  I see how to fix my user profile, but ask yourself what has happened and how to make sure I'm sure.  Also can I report this to Microsoft?  Yes, I changed all my passwords! I also received an email from spam with my old gmail password.  Yes, I've changed that too.

• Security issues with SMB concern files MS Office network locations

  On our windows 7 machines of our users we have problem of slowness of opening Office files from a network location

  This slowness only affect the users in the domain.  Domain Admins have no problem of slowness.

  Changes to approved documents ro trust location.  Location of trusted network has no effect.

  If I disable SMB users in the domain can open network location with no slow Office files.

  Any ideas?

  Help! Years - SEVEN to be exact - I BOUGHT Adobe CS2 and widely used. Then, I was in an accident that took five years to recover from. After my recovery, I tried to return to the use of my Adobe products to see that Adobe is discouraging use of CS2 and because I HAVE a LICENSE and that was the LAST version, I used I wanted to start with a version that I know. Several months later, apparently I wasn't the only one who wanted to CONTINUE to USE CS2 and now Adobe has made it possible to download this version for PC and MAC, BUT because of operating system compatibility issues, Adobe continues to discourage the download and use. HERE's THE THING: I have the SAME SYSTEM running the SAME operating system as when I BOUGHT it first. I downloaded the SAME EXACT VERSION of CS2. He moved very well. But I can't OPEN the app and the Troubleshoot utility of the reports that there is "COMPATIBILITY ISSUES". WHY?!?!?!?!?

  Did you download and install the special version of CS2?  It's the only one, you will be able to use.

  The question is in fact a need to install firewalls, antivirus etc. on the virtual machine or the protections on the host protect the virtual machine when it is connected to the internet?

  In General a Virtual Machine that has network connectivity is no different, then a physical Machine with network connectivity and the other must act accordingly.  In other words, a Virtual Machine is subject to the same issues that a physical Machine is when it come to be infected if connected to other physical or virtual systems and or Internet and appropriate precautions should be taken as appropriate and necessary.

  no problem on the side of flex... need to escape crossdomain.xml file in the htacess of codeigniter i.e RewriteCond $1! ^ (index\.php|images|application|uploads|robots\.txt|crossdomain\.xml) in the htaccess file.
