• Implementation of Hub, Agent and Viewer

  I am trying to set up the environment and the agent management Hub so we can use the wizard to change. I have change the files configuration.properties for the agent and the hub (huburl and the port.) They are on different servers.
  
  I don't really understand the viewer component. When I edit the configuration.properties file in the PSEMViewer folder, the HUB_MACHINE_NAME continues to change of PIA/hub server to localhost after I run GetEnvInfo.bat
  
  When I hit the HUB url, it shows the agents running.
  
  My developer says its does not work properly because it examines the file PSEMViewer\envmetadata\data\viewer.html and it shows no data.

  The MS Viewer must work on the hub locally. Don't know what version you are, but if you check the PT 8.51 change Assistant PeopleBook under "Configuration and management components runtime environment - run the Viewer", there is a note that says:

Last week, I attended VMWare Partner Exchange 2009 in Orlando, Florida and gave a demonstration of what I believe, this is the option to select MS RDP or ROWS in the Client view. I forgot to ask what version of the Client view the instructor used, and if it was even available for download now.

  So I would like some clarification. Is the latest version of the Agent view and customer have integrated the RGS protocol supported?

  No, RGS support isn't in 3.0.1. This feature is in a next version (which is in the Release Candidate phase right now).

• VMware View Agent 5.2.0 PCoIP over WAN fails

  Recently, I did an upgrade on VMware View VMware view horizon 5.2 4.6 square.

  After the upgrade the 4.6.0 view agent in virtual machines of my parents to view agent 5.2.0 and rebuild the office pools, external PCoIP does not work. Can I open a session in the 5.2 Client view, see the list of office pools, select a pool, the desk at work close and try to open remotely. After 1 second, this error appears:

  • External/WAN via PCoIP for workstations with the view Agent 5.2.0

  Looks like the Sun JVM, the portion of the agent running JMS integration crashes at startup. It's just a guess, but I've seen a similar case with another client where they were running XP virtual machines with large amounts of RAM and some third-party software that was loading DLLs in the middle of the address space of the process. The JVM tries to get a contiguous area of memory, it may be falling on this sequel to a similar problem. On large memory systems, the default behavior of the JVM seizes more than necessary (although it is normally not a problem), try to set the following in the registry to avoid this:

  [Manager\JVM of \VMware VDM\Node of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VMware, Inc..]

  JVMOptions = - XX: + ForceTimeHighResolution-Xmx64m

  Note that I added only option - Xmx64m to the existing setting.

  Versions of Firefox 3.6 + have a feature to allow the user to hide the Menu bar.

  Press the Alt key to temporarily show the Menu bar, then open view > toolbars and select menu bar, so it has a check mark.
  
  The F10 can also be used on most PCs to temporarily reveal the menu bar.

  Since downloading the iOS 9.2 update, I've noticed that I'm unable to download and view pdf files. I tried my account on my phone of colleagues (running iOS 9.1) that does it without problem. The server is the Exchange 2003 server. Has anyone else seen elsewhere? Anyone know a fix?

  We are having the same problem with some PDFs on Exchange 2003. The workaround of Acrobat to download the full message and press open in the player does not work. One or more of the following actions occurs:

  • The PDF file is as is the download (circle progresses / completes)
  • Tapping/long-press the PDF icon does nothing
  • The error "cannot download the attachment"

   

  Temporary workaround on 6s 9.2: open in Outlook Web Access in Safari, tap and hold the link to the PDF, open in new tab temporary until access OWA is removed.
