See more HD in ban

I have a X201T with a X 200 ban.  I swapped the stock HD in the Tablet and installed an SSD.  I put the HD in the ban to use for backups (via Rescue and Recovery).

Since a few days ago, X 201 stopped seeing the backup HD.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers HD and he out the ban and put back in (ensuring that it was nice sitting).

I used compressed air to blow out all the connections.  Still did not work.

My BIOS is updated.  The Explorer Windows, no R & R can detect the HD.  However, oddly enough, when I hit F12 during initial start-up, it gives me the possibility to use the HD ban to start (is not bootable, it's strictly for backup).

I ordered a box HD not expensive w / USB, so that I can remove the ban to see if it's the drive that put problem.  Then I remembered this community and its scholars Thinkpad Legion... did I miss something?

Adam, thanks for responding.  The drive is not bootable (contains just backup images), so I don't mind back into the laptop.

The box arrived and I was able to get the HD and scan with SeaTools.  The player has passed all the tests, but did not always show in Explorer (or Rescue and Recovery).  My assumption at this point was that I had a connection problem, but now it's clearly something else.

I went into disk management and saw that I had a conflict of identification by car, which has been translated by the dock HD being the 'offline '.  I have reset it manually, and it works fine now.

On the other hand, low-cost HD box is too short for good lock up the HD should I choose to get out of the docking station... but it was a value of $5 to diagnose the problem by about 5 mm.
