  I need to select distinct column values (for example: Col (c) .sourcecode) collection and the need to insert in the table if the value in this column does not exist in the table.
  
  Say, Col (c) .sourcecode has the value XYZ, ABC. If the "XYZ" value does not exist in the table, so I need to insert in the table and if "ABC" exists in the tables then don't insert it. (something like fusion) after seecting to the distinct values in a column in the collection.

  In the Begin block, you have to collect a loose and insert inside: something like

• How to select several values with a select statement with other columns

  I have a small request related to the selection of values in a table.

  create table employees (eid, ename varchar2 (20));

  insert into employee values (1, 'Nik');

  insert into employee values (2, "Prashant");

  Now, I have a small list of say A, b, C, I want to choose this list with all the lines as

  but the problem with that is that in production my employee table has millions of records and it scans the employee three times table (or the number of constant values)

  If the destination table have the column as a Number (7.0) and then how you can store a decimal value.

  The destination table contains the following:

  Tried with lead, windowed with range UNLIMITED etc. that PRECEDES, that would not come up with good logic.

  I could make it work with PL/SQL, but do it in SQL turns out to be delicate.

  I scoured the topics in this forum. Most of them were made using the table ID f_001, f_002.

  I tried to follow the same path by inspecting the item but the disable_col does not have any ID.  Let's say, f_003 is for the static list and f_004 is assigned to dept_name.

  I tried dynamic actions, but it did not work. Read in a topic that dynamic action does not work on tables. So I chose this approach. Is there a simpler way to solve this?
