Insert using TO_NUMBER does not seem to accept the decimal value

Oracle 10g

I'm trying to insert a decimal value in a table from another table oracle oracle. The column of the source table is a data type
    "PLOTSIZE10_30CM"    VARCHAR2(4 BYTE),
    "PLOTSIZE30_50CM"    VARCHAR2(4 BYTE),
    "PLOTSIZE50CM"       VARCHAR2(3 BYTE),
The destination table contains the following:
    "PLOT_SIZE_10_30CM" NUMBER(7,0),
    "PLOT_SIZE_30_50CM" NUMBER(7,0),
    "PLOT_SIZE_50CM"    NUMBER(7,0),
When I run the insert statement as the following decimal values are not inserted into the destination table.

If the destination table have the column as a Number (7.0) and then how you can store a decimal value.

The destination table contains the following:

"PLOT_SIZE_10_30CM" NUMBER(7,0),
"PLOT_SIZE_30_50CM" NUMBER(7,0),
"PLOT_SIZE_50CM"    NUMBER(7,0),

Look at sample scenario-

SQL> CREATE TABLE TEST1(COL NUMBER(7,0));

Table created.

SQL> CREATE TABLE TEST2(COL NUMBER(7,1));

Table created.

SQL> INSERT INTO TEST1(COL) VALUES(1.234);

1 row created.

SQL> INSERT INTO TEST2(COL) VALUES(1.234);

1 row created.

SQL> INSERT INTO TEST1(COL) VALUES(0.234);

1 row created.

SQL> INSERT INTO TEST2(COL) VALUES(0.234);

1 row created.

SQL> SELECT * FROM TEST1;

If you want to store the decimal value, you must modify the destination table.

    Have you tried to change AutoPlay settings?
    Open Control Panel and Auto game options. Enable the option Use AutoPlay for all media and devices. Also change other options, especially for DVD movies, software and games.

  • Satellite M40 does not seem to charge the battery beyond a certain level

    Just a brief explanation of my work.

    I make repairs pc and laptop, replacement of jack, BGA/brazing repairs etc.;
    However computer have always baffled me. I have a Toshiba M40, although I know that this problem is not specific to this model.

    The laptop does not charge the battery beyond a certain level at the moment its impasse on 41%, it says loading in windows but do not go anywhere.
    I saw other portable that stick onto the other percentages 99%, 70% etc.

    I tried to completely discharge the battery (on windows) and reload (for Windows), and also tried to unload and reload not in o/s, if anything they seem to have made things worse as initially the issue of charge level was approximately 50% and more.

    By mistake the laptop wasn't for awhile so the battery flat, which probably did not help as I understand its best to store 40% battery when not in use.

    Any ideas what the problem is and if theres any way to revive this battery?

    I'm don't know how old your battery is but eventually should be replaced.
    After a long period of use, the battery loses the own performance and must be replaced.

    Welcome to the HP Support forums. I understand that you get a connection error message when you try to use your printer Photosmart 6520 scanning e-mail.

    Please define Manual of the printer an IP address manually and DNS servers. If you do not know how to this I have included a link to another post which has measurements, including screenshots, on how to do it. Please do not worry that the screenshots show a printer Photosmart 7510, the steps are the same.

    Once you have set the IP address manually, you still have the same problem with by entering the PIN code?

    I found a really great tutorial that answers my question.

    the idea is to use the layer of gray to 50% overlay or soft light but hide. The masks are extracted from one of the RGB channels or even a version black and white image you need to dodge/burn.

    Hi Bugsy21, you're right that advanced bookmark organization is not yet possible on firefox for android at the moment. the only workaround at the moment is to synchronize your tablet to a desktop - then your bookmarks will show up on the desktop in a special "mobile bookmarks" folder, the contents of which you can rearrange or put in subfolders and sync those changes back up on your mobile device.
