Select previous date table

Hi all

My need is to choose the present previous date in the table. For example, I select '' 2012-03-30 in my first article, Sun' 2011-12-30' should be in the second column. How can I make it?
with t1 as (
select date '2012-03-30' as arcdate from dual union all
select date '2011-12-30' as arcdate from dual union all
select date '2011-09-30' as arcdate from dual union all
select date '2011-06-30' as arcdate from dual union all
select date '2011-03-31' as arcdate from dual union all
select date '2010-12-31' as arcdate from dual
               )
select arcdate, '' as previous_date_from_table
from t1
where arcdate = date '2012-03-30'

Hello

Use analytics LAG fucntion, like this:

WITH    got_prev  AS
(
     SELECT  arcdate
     , LAG (arcdate) OVER (ORDER BY arcdate) AS previous_date_from_table
     FROM      t1
)
SELECT     arcdate
,     previous_date_from_table
FROM     got_prev
WHERE      arcdate     = DATE '2012-03-30'
;

Analytical functions are calculated after the clause WHERE is applied; This is why a subquery is needed here. If we use the same query as the LAG

WHERE      arcdate     = DATE '2012-03-30'

then the result set will that one line, and LAG returns NULL.

  • DB connectivity Kit: syntax error in a SELECTION of data from joined tables

    Hello everyone

    I'm putting in labview a SQL query on joined tables.

    As an example I take a database to store the data of basketball 2on2 matches, which tables are

    corresponds to (matchId, Thomas, teamB)

    teams (teamId,PlayerAname, PlayerBname, nationality)

    nationalities (NatId, natName)

    To get an array of result with the game as well as the names of player as well as their nationality, I use this query on MySQL (which works on command line interface)

    SELECT MatchID,
    T1. PlayerAName, t1. PlayerBName, n1.natName,
    T2. PlayerAName, t2. PlayerBName, n2.natName
    MATCHES m
    INNER JOIN teams t1 ON t1.teamID = m.teamA
    INNER JOIN teams t2 ON t2.teamID = m.teamB
    INNER JOIN nationalities L1 ON n1.natID = t1.nationality
    INNER JOIN nationalities n2 ON n2.natID = t2.nationality

    When I put it in labview, using the block 'select data', I get a syntax error as shown in the attached screenshot.

    Am I something mistanking using the JOIN examples statements or aliases?

    Thanks in advance!

    The select VI is designed to be a simple way to select from a table. I doubt that he can do joins (and would not certainly need the 'FROM', even if it can). What you can do instead calls the query execute VI and give him the complete SQL query. I don't remember if it returns the data in the recordset object, so you must do so separately.

  • Select the data in a table and update in another table

    Dear experts,

    create the table TB_ENCRYPT

    (

    Identification number,

    Varchar2 (200) KEY

    );

    INSERT INTO TB_ENCRYPT VALUES(1,'HJUVHDUIFBSDGVU');

    SELECT * FROM TB_ENCRYPT;

    1 HJUVHDUIFBSDGVU

    create TABLE users)

    username, NUMBER of

    password VARCHAR2 (200)

    );

    Insert users

    values (1, 123 # "")

    Insert users

    values (2, 456 #')

    Select * from users;

    1 123 #.

    # 2 456

    I want to select the data KEY for table TB_ENCRYPT column and update in the column of tables for the respective key user password

    TB_ENCRYPT table contains only a single key value. Comparing this key, I want to update the old value of the key to the new value.

    For encryption and decryption I followed the java class method.no is worried about that.

    create or replace

    PACKAGE PCK_ENC AUTHID CURRENT_USER AS

    FUNCTION DECRYPT (VARCHAR arg0, arg1 VARCHAR) AS VARCHAR BACK LANGUAGE JAVA NAME 'Encrclass.decrypt (java.lang.String, java.lang.String) return java.lang.String ';

    FUNCTION ENCRYPT (VARCHAR arg0, arg1 VARCHAR) AS VARCHAR BACK LANGUAGE JAVA NAME 'Encrclass.encrypt (java.lang.String, java.lang.String) return java.lang.String ';

    END;

    SELECT PCK_ENC. ENCRYPT('1234','HJUVHDUIFBSDGVU') FROM DUAL;

    HERE,

    1234 - is the password of the users table column data

    HJUVHDUIFBSDGVU - represents the key of table TB_ENCRYPT column data.

    Comparing this key, I want to update the old value of the key to the new value.

    I tried with this method

    declare

    cursor c1 is

    Select the key

    of TB_ENCRYPT

    where id = 1

    update the id;

    Start

    for c1_rec looping c1

    update users

    password is PCK_ENC. Encrypt (Password, Key)

    the location being c1;

    commit;

    end loop;

    end;

    /

    Help, please

    You can use the MERGE statement.

    merge into users
    using tb_encrypt
       on (id = userid)
      when matched then
          update set password = PCK_ENC.ENCRYPT(password,key);

    And why you encrypt your password. This isn't a good idea. Just password hash.

    Hello

    You can take the values in the table in the cursor and use it in the part of the email.
    It will be like,

  • Calculation on previous dates in sql

    I need to find the age for each day, but I need for the previous set in a query

    23 JUNE 15 19
    22 JUNE 15 18

    Note: this is not only for 3 days, I need for all previous dates

    Help, please

    Hello

    assuming that your query on the tables of the elements is to return a single line, you can use the CONNECT BY.

    Here I used a WITH statement instead of your entry table:

    with items as
    (
       select to_date('04-JUN-2015', 'dd.mon.yyyy') created_date from dual
    )
     select trunc(sysdate) - level + 1 dt
          , trunc(sysdate) - level + 1 - created_date  age
       from items
    connect by trunc(sysdate) - level + 1 - created_date > 0;

    DT               AGE
    --------- ----------
    25-JUN-15         21
    24-JUN-15         20
    23-JUN-15         19
    22-JUN-15         18
    21-JUN-15         17
    20-JUN-15         16
    19-JUN-15         15
    18-JUN-15         14
    17-JUN-15         13
    16-JUN-15         12
    15-JUN-15         11
    14-JUN-15         10
    13-JUN-15          9
    12-JUN-15          8
    11-JUN-15          7
    10-JUN-15          6
    09-JUN-15          5
    08-JUN-15          4
    07-JUN-15          3
    06-JUN-15          2
    05-JUN-15          1

    21 rows selected.

    In case your query on the table of the elements to return several rows then please provide examples of data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statement) as specified in: Re: 2. How can I ask a question on the forums?

  • How can I configure the system to a previous date

    I have windows vista and cannot find how to restore the system to a previous date

    Hello

    Here's how to do a system restore:

    http://www.windowsvistauserguide.com/system_restore.htm

    If necessary do in safe mode

    Windows Vista

    Using the F8 method:

    1. Restart your computer.
    2. When the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap theF8 key repeatedly until you are presented with theBoot Options Advanced Windows Vista.
    3. Select the Safe Mode option with the arrow keys.
    4. Then press enter on your keyboard to start mode without failure of Vista.
    5. To start Windows, you'll be a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Vista goes into safe mode.
    6. Do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.

    and if you have problems doing, read this:

    There are a variety of reasons for system restore problems

    Norton and Norton product Tamper Protection is the main

    Read about it:

    but my question is that suppose I create another table say "TEMP_TAB" in the scheme of USER1 after the execution of the block above user2 will be able to access the table TEMP_TAB. My guess is certainly not. If I'm wrong, I want a way to grant select on a table in the schema of user1 immediately as and when it is created to User2.

    Please suggest a solution.

    Thank you and best regards,

    but in this case the User2 can choose any table in any schema. I want only USER2 for the right to select for only User1 tables.

    Oh sorry. Misinterpreted your post. What you did is the right way to do it. You must add the select role privilege whenever you create a new table. There is no "SELECT the TABLE all THE" specific to a type of data user privilege.

    Yes, my problem is of subquery. I found a solution from this site.

    http://srinisboulevard.blogspot.com/2010/04/ora-01427-single-row-subquery-returns.html
    http://StackOverflow.com/questions/3804850/erroneous-ora-01427-single-row-subquery-returns-more-than-one-row / / the answer is the last line

    Before change (error subquery)

    CheckingEO.BO,
    (SELECT ntr_no FROM test
    WHERE cs_no = CheckingEO.CS_NO) NTR_NO
    To archive the CheckingEO

    Edit it like this

    (SELECT ntr_no FROM test
    WHERE cs_no = CheckingEO.CS_NO and Rownum = 1) NTR_NO
    To archive the CheckingEO

  • Space occupied by a data table

    Is there a way to know how much disk space is occupied by a data table?

    Try this:

    select
       segment_name           table_name,
       sum(bytes)/(1024*1024) table_size_meg
    from
       user_extents
    where
       segment_type='TABLE'
    and
       segment_name = ''
    group by segment_name

    Replace with your desired table name

  • How to validate at least one line selected on the table?

    Hello world

    I have a requirement here to display a list of customers at a table "select unique" and a button to send the page. When the user clicks this button, I need to validate if there is a selected line in the table. What is the best approach tho do?
    I tried to validate it on actionListener in the click of a button, but even if I put adfFaces messages running, it does not appear on the screen and the page is still subject.

    Is the BPM 11 g context of the project, so I have to do this validation and 'Cancel' the submit, otherwise the data passes through the flow until the next activity.

    Maybe the real question is: how to undo a page submit during an actionListener?

    Thank you

    Hello

    Small correction to Vinod, tableBinidng.getSeelctedRowKeys () always returns non-null (returns empty set when nothing is selected), then use the tableBinidng.getSeelctedRowKeys () .getSize () to check if a line is selected or not (0-nothing selected).

    If you do not want to treat the action up to save if an option is selected, why don't you try disable the button until something is selected in the table?

    To disable a button when no rows selected, simply add after the disabled property of a button value update it based on the table (add partialTriggers to the table)

  • Clickable bar or data tables charts

    Hello

    I displays a chart and a table of data for an account of some statutes. : Example A 10, B status: situation C, 30: 40.

    I would like to know if there is a way to make these graphics to bars or data table lines clikable, so I can go down in the State to get detailed information. Example, by clicking on the status bar or line in the data table, I would like to redirect to another page where I can show more details such as all users who belong to State A, etc.

    Please suggest.

    Thank you
    Pradeep

    Hello

    For a chart, you need to include a link rather than the null link. For example

    select
    'f?p=&APP_ID.:21:'||:app_session||'::::P21_DB,P21_SCHEMA:'||OEU_ID||','||OET_TBL_OWN_NM||':' link,
    "OEU_ID"|| '-' ||"OET_TBL_OWN_NM"  label,
    COUNT("OEU_ID") value1
     from "IBU_DBRTUT01"

    APP_ID.:21 means that he runs on page 21
    P21_DB, P21_SCHEMA are hidden on this page elements that store values (you need to create your own)
    *|| OEU_ID | «, » || OET_TBL_OWN_NM | * the values from the graph

    Paste the part of link in your series and then just edit these pieces. Then you must create items hidden on the page you want and do a query on this reference page the items hidden in a where clause clause

    For an interactive report you click a column (in the attributes report) attributes, and then pass the "links" section by passing values for the items you want.
