  I'm moving from a 32-bit computer from win2k to win7 64-bit computer, and when I run some of my programs, I get an error window stating that MFC42D.dll is missing. The computer is new at HP how to find the 64-bit versions of dll to the new computer.

  Do a search for the missing .dll file. Normally, it should reside in Windows/System32.

  I suggest that you try and re - save the mfc42d.dll to see if this will help.

  Go to a command prompt. Right click and select "Run as Administrator".
  Then type in: regsvr32 mfc42d.dll

  It must return with the command completed successfully.

  It will be useful.

  You must correctly give the permissions on the files of the user. You can do so by following the steps below:

  (1) connect Analytics OBIEE as Admin and go to the catalog, select admin in the upper left corner.
  (2) from the left side, select the user folders and click on permissoins located in the lower part.
  (3) make sure that you have given authenticated user > open; BIAdministrator and presentation server administrators > total control and check the two boxes (apply permissions to sub-folers and apply permissions to objects with in the folder).
  (4) you can change the permissions according to your requirement.
  (5) leave 5-10 minutes depending on the number of files in user folders permissions to take effect.
  (6) disconnection and connection and check if you have access to my files now.

• How can I compare the differences between two files After Effects?

  I have a major problem.  I was working on special effects for a film.  In After Effects, when I change siggificant, I often have to register under and create a new name so I can go back to the old work if necessary.  It comes in a case, I have come back from earlier works.  If I use these two files After Effects allows you to create multiple clips of effects.  And I do not remember just where you look at it, it is better.  Does anyone know a good way to compare the differences between the files?

  One thing to keep this conversation on the right way: I know that I did a stupid thing.  I've never done this before so can we please not spend a lot of time on how to avoid this problem and stick to how we solve this problem?

  If you encounter difficulties to identify differences in the old and new versions, you can use this procedure:

  To avoid confusion, I'll call your former company and your most recent compositions CompB comps.

  CompA drag "New Comp" icon in the project window.  This will create a new temporary layout that contains the nested CompA.

  Drag in your new COMP CompB temporary ensure it aligns image for image with CompA.

  Place the top layer (CompB) difference.

  Now, when you play through the comp, you'll see differences in color at a time where the comparison and CompB are not identical.

• See the directories but no files after downloading

  Installed my Media Hub and install a 2nd drive successfully.  When I insert the USB stick and 32 GB sandisk flash drive data, the device announcement download is finished.  But when I look at the directory structure, the new directories are in place, but I don't see any file.  Do not understand what is happening.

  I think that mediahub will alone importing media (avi, wmv, mp3, etc.), it will not import any multimedia files (txt, doc, ppt.exe, etc...). You will need to copy and paste no media files manually. I find the files it can import the same types of files located on the list below.

  Why does it always seems to be collateral damage when Adobe frees the last round of updates for 2015 CC - this time with SpeedGrade. The last update you could open the new PremierPro project files.   Probably, this is because the function of Direct link has been deleted in first Pro CC 2013.3 (10.3). Try importing a PCA produced the Premiere Pro sequence instead.

  Lightroom raw processing says:

  This is not the correct interpretation. Lightroom reads only the information that is present on your hard drive, it never writes to the part of the image of your files. Thus, the information on the hard disk is damaged and Lightroom evolves, Lightroom displays only the (corrupt) information passed by the hard drive... And so, if the information is wrong, then Lightroom and PS and any other program that can read the RAW format will show this corruption.

  Yet once, you need to find what piece of hardware could be the culprit and replace or remove this piece of hardware.

  Hello dflhoo, you are sure that you have downloaded and opened not only spreadsheets directly with excel (in the latter case that they downloaded to a temporary location where they are deleted after a one-time-use)?

  downloaded files normally are not related to your browser - they will always be accessible without any problems after you have uninstalled or switched browsers and are found at the place where you downloaded the original to (in default firefox, the download in your user folder folder), the file system
