  Yes.  First of all, make sure that you have a selected clip and that the playhead is on the clip selected when you add a marker.  The ECP will only show markers outside the bounds of the selected element.  Second, make sure that you can see time of sovereign of the ECP.  It is easy to hide the view of the chronology of the ECP.

  I'm using Premiere Pro CS3. How can I get rid of the effects in the effect controls panel? I put there some effects of a previous project and my new projects now have the same effects are listed in the effects Panel. I would like to get rid of them.  I tried selecting all and help to remove the key. They are not pinned to a clip, they are not enabled.   To better understand the issue, we need the following information:

  Are what environment you referring?  What did you delete?

  Let us know if you can start the computer in safe mode and works as expected.

  Access the menu advanced startup options by turning on your computer and pressing the F8 key before Windows starts. Boot advanced options, select the menu safe mode.
