  I searched the help files for PSE9 know the different selection tools and commands. While I understand what I read, I can't find documentation for a method of selection that I learned to use when reading a book on the layers. In this book, the author described to select the visible part of a layer by clicking CNTL-layer icon click. (Hold down the CTRL (PC) while the mouse by clicking the icon layer.)

  Click on file/publish/formats settings, make sure that the swf and html boxes are selected, and click the button use default namespace.  then click on file/publish.  are the files in your directory with your fla?

  Otherwise, create a new directory (which has no subdirectory), save your fla to this new directory using a new name (it is, click File/Save as).  then click on file/publish.  see the new directory for your 3 files.

  This problem may occur if one of the following conditions is true:
  a. you do not use the game disc to start the program.
  b. the CD player is not compatible with the program.
  c. using a copy of the program CD.
  d. you are not connected to the computer as an administrator.
  e. the programs interfere with the start of the game which is running but is invisible to you.
  f. the CD-ROM drive uses out-of-date drivers.

  Have you tried "turn Windows features on or off"? If this isn't the case, please follow the steps below:

  1. click on start.

  2. go in Control Panel.

  3. click on programs.

  4. Select programs and features.

  5. on the left pane, you will have an option turn Windows features on or off, click on it.

  6. a new window will appear on the, select games and click Ok.

  You need to restart the system to allow the changes take place.
