  We are on CF9.  I have a form with several fields bound cfselect.  If I submit the form, and then go back using the back button of the browser, all the bound cfselect fields are set back to their original state.  I tried used preserveData = "yes" to the eth and selected set the domain name cfform tag but it doesn't seem to work.

  Hi Jeff,

  I found as a plant of great forms of SESSION variable that potentially need to use the back button or even refresh.  If you submit the form and action page can set a variable to the SESSION for you.  Then, the user presses back, you can test for the existence of a SESSION variable, if it exists, it is populated if it comes in white.  You can even set the initial variable as a SESSION variable and forget the test piece.

  After playing with html and 'hidden' values, a SESSION variable is a handy piece of code.

• Until I installed the version 3.6.6 on my XP System I would wear Outlook Express to send a link by e-mail. Now, select 'send the link' open MS Outlook Office which is not my default email.

• The Back button only allows me to return a page at a time instead of select a previous page from a drop-down list. It is a real problem: someone has any ideas?

  In the previous version of Firefox, I could go back to a previous page by clicking on a part of the previous button which brought up a list of recently visited sites and clicking on one of them, might go back to this page. This installation does not seem to be available in the latest Firefox, and the back button only goes back one page at a time. It's really embarrassing, like,

    it now takes longer to get to an earlier page
    there is no visibility of previous pages visited
    any actions carried out on webpages are undone when going back through them - this does not happen when jumping back several pages in one go.
  

  It is a real problem, I used the old system constantly and cannot continue to use Firefox 4.0 unless there is a way around it.
