send e-mails to multiple addresses

Hi guys,.

a question about the APEX_MAIL package. Has anyone tried to send e-mails to multiple addresses by using the p_cc parameter? I found a description how to do this, but it does not work when the addresses are stored in the variables:
p_cc:  Valid email addresses to which the email is copied. For multiple email addresses, use a comma-separated list
As it's works, but if I want to add another address to p_cc (stored in a variable), it no longer works.
 l_id := HTMLDB_MAIL.SEND(
        p_to        => receiver,
        p_cc        => receiver2,___________,
        p_from      => sender,
        p_subj      => subject,
        p_body      => body,
        p_body_html => body_html);
Does anyone know the correct syntax to add a second receiver stored in a variable?

Using your code as the base and making the following assumptions:
1 ' receiver' and "receiver2" are hard-coded electronic addresses
2. the name of the variable is l_cc02

Try the following:

 l_id := HTMLDB_MAIL.SEND(
        p_to        => '[email protected]',
        p_cc        => '[email protected],' || l_cc02,
        p_from      => sender,
        p_subj      => subject,
        p_body      => body,
        p_body_html => body_html);

Note the comma at the end of the 'other' email address.

    But I thought that instead of going get the username of WF_LOCAL_ROLES and then sending the mail to user names, I can't send mail directly using e-mail.

    AdHoc roles depend in large part of the FND_USER, WF_ROLES, WF_LOCAL_ROLES table to check if these users are still active.

    and AdHoc roles take only the values of FND_USER. User_name as input, so I don't think that you can directly use the email addresses.

    If you want to use as input e-mail addresses, you may need to create a custom package/procedure.

    I'm creating a workflow that will send a notification by email each time a new campaign is created. I learned that R16 is able to send emails to multiple recipients, the only concern I have is that I can't find everything will have on how to do it. It is indicated in the Guide of Preview R16 administrator you can select "specific"E-mail address ", enter several e-mail addresses directly, tried to enter several e-mail addresses separated by comma - [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] for example, but it does not work and invites me to enter a valid email address. Could someone guide me on how to enter several e-mail addresses when you select 'Specific E-mail address' or how to do it in the expression builder to set the expression that defines the list of emails. I know that by using addresses group e-mail can be used as an alternative to this requirement, but I hope that their way to proceed with workflows.

  • Impossible to send E-mail on Satellite A100 WinXP SP2

    Hi all

    just found this forum.
    I have the Satellite A100 Windows XP sp2 and I'm unable to send e-mail to certain addresses (yahoo among others - recipients rejected by the server).
    After several long sessions with my ISP tech (ntlworld) support that seemed to be the best advice that all is OK with my settings on the server and I need to look for a solution elsewhere.

    I was using Outlook Express as my email application so tried Mozilla's Thunderbird to see if this helped - no improvement, unfortunately.
    Windows updates all installed. I approach approaching the limit of my knowledge, help/advice or pointers in the right direction is greatly appreciated.

    Maybe is a problem of the Outlook profile.

    Make a new profile in Outlook under Extras? E account Mail with information from the ISP and verify the Netware properties.

    The 'local' part in the context of email addresses, the part to the left of the symbol @. The warning is a bit of a surprise, because in general the owner of a mail server is relatively free to specify the address format. There is a movement to allow the games to other characters to be used in the fields, so I'm a little disappointed to see that, apparently, e-mail does not support the latter in the local part yet or it can be your SMTP server that generates this message.

    ASCII characters ("American Standard Code for Information Interchange") are, on the whole, the English alphabet, uppercase and lowercase, as well as figures, common punctuation and case of things like the asterisks, obliques and media bars, but not of accented characters. But even apparently simple things like spaces and dashes have cousins who, at first glance, appear to be identical, but are not represented in the ASCII system. I am thinking especially nonbreaking spaces, dash and half-quadratin.

    But I don't know why your new computer must have caused these warnings.

    When you use mail on my iPhone, I'm more able to view the the sender email (my email address) of e-mails sent (in the "sent" folder).

    So I don't know why this happened, but I have no idea how to do to reverse the trend: I opened an email I'd sent, and I accidentally pressed 'hide' (upper-right next to my email address), making the email of the sender disappear, not only for this account, but for all other e-mail accounts as well.

    You can read the messages in the sent folder and choose the e-mail addresses, the messages have been sent.  Or you could implement a SendListener, to capture and store the addresses of e-mail messages recently sent e-mail.
