  I had this problem with my previous BB and thought that the software crashed.  Upgrade to a 790 "BOLD" I always have this problem.  I talked to tech support, they say that everything is ok on their side.  I took my phone, the tech at the MTN shop checked, corrected my center number.

  Anyone know how I can disable will on e-mails, sms, mms & Instant Messaging online programs? Usually, I type in shorthand (words without vowels, acronyms, etc.) for faster messages... especially with the touchscreen technology / click safe poor of this phone.

  You have three things going on on the 9500 in portrait mode... Automatic insertion of predictive text and SureType.

  For AutoText, you just delete all entries. I don't know how to enable and disable.

  Predictive text - go to Options > language > input Options > predictive and uncheck. Similarly, there you can disable spell variants.

  Hi, I have a 6 + 64 GB iPhone a year and 3 month old device.

  I noticed that since I downloaded and installed to 9.3 last IOS, I can't open a URL or a direct link on any of my text Messages and emails!  I click on the URL and nothing happens!  Help!  It's totally frustrating.  I shouldn't have installed the latest iOS.  Please tell me that there is an IOS update that corrects this frustration!

  Recently "converted" to Blackberry and I'm starting to like it, but having a few problems with 'Phantom' SMS notifications that appear on my home screen.

  I checked my phone, SMS messages, and I am not able to see them. I rely on this phone for work, and missing messages SMS becomes a bit long in the teeth (if that's what actually happens).

  Thank you for your question regarding SMS notifications on your smart phone BlackBerry Z10.

  As a test, having someone you know sends you a message test SMS to confirm whether or not it is received. It may be possible that your new notification SMS of a previous message has not erased.

  If the message is not received, reinsert the battery as a test and if this fails to solve the problem, contact your mobile service provider for assistance.

• How to send an @ character via SMS?

  I hope it's a simple question for a person.

  I try to send my application SMS messages that contain the @ character (for an automated SMS), when received these messages show the "@" replaced by "i".

  I guess that this is related to the 7-bit character set, but given that I can send and receive SMS with this character manually there must be a work around?

  It looks like a known issue reported here:

  There was a workaround solution posted, but I have not tested it myself. Here are the steps.

  1. Go to the Yahoo Messenger Options - change the window in the tab menu and press OK.
  2. Then go back and switch to the small window and press OK.

  The bug has already been fixed. So, you can download the beta version of FF 10 If this is a really important feature for you.

  Please, do not type in uppercase.  It is difficult to read and is considered as shouting.

  In the toolbar is an icon that looks like a paper clip (or you can add it to the toolbar if necessary).  It is the attachment icon.  With the open email, click on the attachment icon and follow the directions to locate the file you want to attach (the picture) and then follow the directions to complete the attachment.  When you send the email, the picture will be attached for the recipient to open.  Try to use a type of current (such as .jpg) file to send the photo, so that the recipient is not troubled to convert the file to be able to see it.

  I recently converted to Eudora 7 to 24.6 TB on Windows. TB seems to work ok except for one question.

  I have an email with 5 attachments. These files updated occasionally and I need to return them. With Eudora, I'd do a "send again" and the content of the update files would be attached and sent the email.

  TB I go to the sent folder and change as new. When I send the email, it sends the content of the old files not the updated content. I have to remove all attachments, and then tie them again to get the new content. It's very embarrassing.

  No, it isn't. Eudora stored attachments in a folder and grabbed them if necessary. Thunderbird encodes at the time wherever they are attached, so there is the file on disk to update.

  Seriously consider what store files in a files on internet services and by using the links to the files in your mail.

  I think you'd better ask Microsoft how people get their browsers to send a page. I just did with Internet explorer on Windows 7 without problem, even though I had a UAC prompt.
