• Can I send a notification e-mail to a certain group of people based on the transmitter?

  I have a form that we use for internal queries. We have a team of 4 set up to work on applications, they need to receive the notification, we want to send a copy of the email to its creator, which could be 1 of 4 different people. Right now, we use the form processing stage, send a Notification email, Setup with the container Email address is always the same, with the e-mail addresses of the 4 team receives notification by e-mail. What I want to know, is there a way to conditionally send people the team and its creator, so that everyone gets the same email?

  gwinhfaction E10 in the form of steps, that you will see options for always, conditionally or never treatment.  IF you use the conditional you can set up the terms based on the form submit data or the contact data.  Then you just create 4 steps in processing form, who says always send the same to the person, puts conditional based on the needs of A person, then the next stage of treatment of form still the same E-mail of person B, but make it conditional on the needs of the person of B and so on.

  The conditional processing steps you give as much flexibility and can be used in many different ways.

  You must give all the parameters for APEX_MAIL. Procedure PUSH_QUEUE

  Note that these parameter values are provided for backward compatibility, but their respective values are ignored. The host name of the SMTP gateway and the SMTP gateway port number come exclusively from values listed on the manage environment settings when sending e-mail.

• How to send a notification to the user at a specific time

  Hi all

  How can I send a notification to the user? Currently I have this in my c ++ but it does not display notifications?

  Any suggestions are welcome.

  If your application is frozen you can of course check the time periodically nuer a QTimer, or other methods.

  If your application is not running currently, there is unfortunately no nice way to do a trigger invocation time based (except for the phone to boot) does not yet exist (or at least is not readily available yet).

  Thus, three methods either go in the sense of time running headless, use the calendar api or have a mechanism external push of a server.

• Is it possible to send a notification by e-mail to one person in particular, if a certain field is filled?

  I have a form with the following fields: first name, name, address, and phone number by email. There is a note on the contacts form fill in the phone number field if they would like a call from a representative. Is it possible to configure a step to send a notification by e-mail only to the instance that the phone number field has a value?

  Hi Rebecca,.

  Yes it is possible through the stages of processing of forms.

  In your approach to treatment to "Send the email of Notification" at the bottom, click the yellow exclamation icon that says "Conditional" in the lower part for "this treatment step runs...." »

  In the next screen, click the form field tab and then choose your phone number field in the menu drop-down. Then you can put an asterisk (*) in the criteria field to subordinate the step as long as there is a value in the phone number field. (Alternatively, you can change "are" to "is not" at the top of this screen and remove the asterisk to make the step executes every time that it is not empty).

  Firefox 4 does not save form data after sending form and pressing the back button... It's very annoying that it erases all data. It worked fine on FF3.

  Hi Rob,

  Inside the program Builder, you can configure an action step to send a notification, but not in addition to any other action.  You might therefore be able to implement so that (using your example of decision rule) to hit the 'yes' the first step is the notification then the next step is the true 'yes' action, or a similar to the 'no' set according to what you're trying to get information from.  You can do either by configuring a normal e-mail message to hold the info you want, and then Quicksend email to a specific user and use domain merges to get information about the person who is going through step.  Or you could use the 'send members report to the owner of the process"and configure it to contain what you need.

  My question is: is it possible to send push notification to an application from a php page (hosted on a remote server or website)? If so, is there a tutorial or something?

  The simplest option is to use a 3rd party service which provide an API to send promissory notes and a plugin for PhoneGap. Pushwoosh.com are very good and have examples of code for php. You will need to register for service PN Apple and Google (no extra cost) then give the Panel of Pushwoosh the access key (Google) and your Apple dev password (it will configure the necessary certificates for you).

  I did some tests today do 'Send a notification to the mailing list' built into some of my workflow and I encountered a strange bug with bcc.

  I am able to send an email with cc and bcc set to null.

  I am able to send an email with cc filled with an address and bcc set to null.

  I encounter a java exception if I try to send an email with bcc populated, but cc set to null.

  The error message that appears in the newspaper wrapper-server is:

  In the script, if I detect cc as null and empty, change ' ", whereas I am able to send the mail with white populated bcc and cc.

  Can someone else give this a shot and let me know if they can reproduce?

  Certainly a bug in mail plugin vRO. I think I found where the problem in the source code of the plugin is; should be easy enough to fix.

  Do you need a patch of emergency? We can try out a technical preview patched version here in the forums, or you can wait until the next version official vRO and then download the binaries updated Plug-in from here.

  I highly recommend Burke approach since there are a lot of nuances that make a general solution will not work perfectly. There is also a high probability that if you did not get emails or Error Handling to the job that you are fairly new to vCO, and the website would be the BEST place to start! I'm sure they have examples of management errors and emails, but perhaps not in e-mails to handle errors...

  That said, I can try to help you quickly... Here are some quick and dirty steps to get something... you will need to email plugin installed... I do not know...

  1. for all scripts or places where the workflow can fail, the Exception variable to bind to a string of your choice attribute (I'll call this ErrorText)

  2. connect roads of workflow of exception (instead of a normal blue color, link the red color) to a script. Make sure that this script has access to ErrorText.

  3. in the script, use the email (sloppily written) follows:

  I don't think it's possible to send the notification by using service unauthenticated.

  To send notifications by e-mail, you need to connect to oimclient with a user id other wise notification can be sent.

  I have APEX 4.0 installed on my laptop and a distant DB (always in my local network) with EBS R12 on it.
  I created a dblink with my HR schema and updated my tnsname.ora. Now I can connect and browse the remote db with schema APPS/APPS.
  I can also browse table away from my local db user 'HR '.
  
  for example: select * from emp@apex_dblink; recover data without problem even if I'm a developer sql or standard interface of APEX with my APEX user.
  
  As a training, now I want to create an application database from scratch on a tabular presentation with the HR schema. When I browse for the table, I don't see my table 'emp' remote and when I push the "emp@apex_dblink" research, he said only: "emp@apex_dblink is not a valid table name.".
  
  Some have said, it is because of the 'grant privilege' and 'create the synonym' but I don't know if like my dblink I should think to solve this problem...
  In addition, I do not know much about the administration and do not know where to go...

  Apex gets his table & veiw your local database catalog definitions. Are two ways to do what you want:
  (1) create copies of the tables/views you want and create your forms & reports based on these tables/views. Once you have your app work (at least the table/view definitions are now known to Apex), delete local tables and replace them with synonyms for remote tables.
