  This initial version of work plans in 2015 Ps includes only guides to the document level. We are actively working to address some of the issues you mention. We know that many people rely on guides, but also we wanted to not resisted publication of the plans of work for those who could use them as they are currently implemented. But guides improvements are very, very high on our backlog of work for work plans, so stay tuned!

  You can use GOOGLE translate to translate pages on the fly. There are other similar products. But this method is just a joke. The translations are really terrible.

  The only true method is to use a dynamic Web site structure, where the content of the web pages is stored in a database. Then by clicking on a button can fill the page with the language requested in the database version. Someone do the translations before-hand. It requires programming server side, as with PHP.

  First I thought I'd do a class with a function like f: (concept, language)-> Word and then each class should inherit from the class, and send the concepts I love ('OK', 'English') and make 'Confirm', ('OK', 'Swedish') and get "Bekrafta", etc. And then each class would implement an abstract method of 'update all' of the class dictionary, if the user changes the language. (Sort of)!
  
  But then maybe this isn't a good idea, what happens if the classes extend other classes already? An interface is perhaps better? But then, if I were to add a language, the dictionary mapping would not be in on-site, but in every sense!
  
  What do you think? Is there another way? How this work usually?

  It is usually done with ResourceBundles, one for each language you want to support. The idea is pretty much the same thing, but there is much less inheritance and interfaces involved.

• Record BlackBerry push separate AppID for different Env

  Hi, as we have for the development of software, there are different phases: phase of development, QA test phase and the production phase. After the first version, they could interwine between them.  All of these phases would have servers environments that signify different content provider URL and most other URLS for our application. There might be a couple of QA test environments was at the same time as well.

  I am tyring to understand how we can share the BlackBerry AppID (including the port of push) through different environments

That would make sharing across different env almost impossible unless we have a common notify the base URL where different env would be an another relative URL

  I don't think that what you try to do will work. That being said, nothing to stop you writing a small app that receives notifications and sends the http request to the appropriate server based on a query parameter (eg. /notification? = xyx sever)

• A single application but the different database table for another language

  I have a word learning app for different languages. I would like if possible separate the application in different languages, so when the user goes to download, they can choose the language that they are eager to learn how to save their unnecessary download data.

  Is this possible or should I submit apps in a different way (and thus pay for each submission)?

  If you want to group the languages within your application then you must download separately for each version of your application.

  Another approach would be to have the download of the application language data from a server.  You can use the BlackBerry payment service to allow the user to buy the language of their choice within your application.

• Landing page for the different language in LMS options

  I need to create a landing page with options for different language for the same course that can be loaded as a single LMS-ready package.

  My solution was to create the same in each language, export in the .exe and then create an exceptional Captivate file with links to each of the languages as 'open file/URL', but I've known errors trying to do.

  I saw a person offers to write an HTML index page which links to each. I like the idea of this, but I don't know how it worked in a LMS System.

  Another idea would be to create a single Captivate project as described here: Options multilingual in a single course with Adobe Captivate 5.5 "Rapid e-Learning | Adobe Captivate Blog - but the inability to locate the bar reading/table of contents in each language, I avoid it.

  What are my options here?

  The easiest way to do this is to create a main project folder and publish all your projects DSL SCORM in specific folders, do not publish for zip.

  You create an html page that has links to specific language folders or a non-SCORM project. We could call this menu.html.

  Now you need some SCORM files.

  You need an imsmanifest.xml file to create the LMS link to your menu.html and a metadata.xml with title and description.

  We actually already have structures with the manifest and SCORM files already set up to do this associate.

  Column definitions must be hard-coded in the application.
  You cannot hardcode anything today and make sure that it reflects accurately data next year.
  but you can write soemthing today who, when it is executed next year, will make the hardcode then.
  This is called dynamic SQL.

  I installed the blackberry JDE 1.3.0 eclipse plugin that contains the default value
  package inside plugins, now using the url net.RIM.ejde.componentpack6.0.0_6.0.0.30

  My question is if my application will be used for all versions of the OS, so what do I do?

  1 should I I generate a single file of cod for 4.x or it should be necessary to generate a separate file of cod to 4.5.0, 4.6.0 4.7.0

  2 If am will have to sign the cod of the file then I need to install the tool to separate signature for each operating system? or a unique signature tool installed in eclipse itself is enough to sign all the cod files that are generated in the different versions of the OS?

  This signature tool is the same for all levels of the operating system. I usually use the tool last signature, even for the 4.2 signing apps.

  Compiled cod are compatible forward but not backward.  So, if you compile using OS 4.5 it can work in devices running OS 4.5 and above.  However if you compile in OS 6.0, then it is not supported on devices running something more than that.

  You will find that you might want to use the facilities available in newer versions on the new phones, so you will need to compile separately in this case.  There are a variety of options to achieve this, but I would look first for the pre-processor.

  There is a small problem in OS 4.7, so if I develop for OS 4.5 - OS 6.0 and the code will be the same for all devices, I usually provide two builds, one for pre OS 4.7 and the other to post that.

  If DPRBAS_0 is equal to 0 in all the lines of a specific record, then return the line with date maximum (PERENDDAT_0 column).

  I have a table that has several columns for the accommodation of the languages (for some reason that I don't want a child table to accommodate the langauges).  Try to find the DISTINCT languages in the table.

  But now there are several accommodation the langauges columns, how do I enumerate the distinct (NON-DUPPLICATE) langauges, such as return the result set to:

  Italian

  Japanese

  Thai

  German

  Danish

  Looks like you already realize that it is a design of the wrong table.  Any reason you have booked using this model, you should think about it again.  The reasonable way to store data and the reasonable way to solve this problem, are all languages to in 1 column.  If you store the data in a smart way, you will have to convert on the fly, whenever you have to solve a problem like this.  You can use SELECT... UNPIVOT function to convert the 4 columns in 1 and then use plain old SEPARATE to get a single output.
