sequence of actions, or batch - overall. FileCnt is not defined

I tried the following example of the adobe acrobat document (see code below). However, it never reaches line 'End Code of the work'. At forest, global operation. FileCnt since still not defined. Why is this? Isn't she supposed to be completed by the total number of documents PDF selected? Am I missing something?

BEGIN Job

If (typeof global.counter == "undefined") {}

Console.println ("Begin the Labour Code");

overall. Counter = 0;

Insert here the code beginJob

}

Main code to treat each of the selected files

try {}

overall. Counter ++

Console.println ("processing file #" + global.counter);

Enter code batch here.

} catch (e) {}

Console.println ("batch abandoned in race #" + global.counter ");

delete global.counter; so we can try again and avoid the end labour code

Event.RC = false; interrupt batch processing

}

Final

If (global.counter == comprehensive.) FileCnt) {}

Console.println ("end Labour Code");

Insert here the code endJob

may need to remove all of the global variables used in case the user wants to run

another sequence of batch processing using the same variables, for example...

delete global.counter;

}

Thank you!

Yes, two distinct actions that you have to run one after another.

  • "Test batch" entry point does not exist

    Hi Forum

    I'm in the process of upgrading one of our testsystems TestStand version 3.1 to version 4.1.

    The system is started by a Labview application that calls TS by a call from the command line (-runEntryPoint 'Batch of Test' "C:\...) »). However, TS 4.1 does not recognize the entry point "Test batch" (worked well in point 3.1), and I get a box with the error message "" Test batch"entry point does not exist. I checked the entry point exist in the model of sequence file, and if I go into the "Run" menu, I get the choice to run "Test batch".

    I am able to be-run the command, but then I, for some reason, don't you the entire sequence.

    Any suggestions for what I am doing wrong? I am connected to TS automatically with my windows login.

    Hello

    There should be a document in \Conponents\NI\Models\... that should give you the basics to different process templates.

  • The phrase after "Set Station models overall" step could not be evaluated.

    When you run a TestStand sequence, I get the following error message:

    The phrase after "Set Station models overall" step could not be evaluated.

    Types of variable or a property do not match or are not compatible.

    Error code:-17321; Types of variable or a property do not match or are not compatible.

    Although I do not understand the above said, the root cause of fixing is a little something else.

    I'll explain the scenario.  The code is developed in TS4.1.0, although this should be irrelevant.

    I inherited a project of TestStand that call LabVIEW modules.  The original sequence works very well on the test pc (which is installed remotely).  Local and remote computer share the same StationGlobals.ini.

    This is why it is strange...  If I use the old or the new code, I get the error message on the local PC.  I was assuming that by using the same StationGlobals.ini would have fixed that, but it didn't.

    When I run the old code on the remote PC, I do not get this message, but I understand with the new code.  I don't remember changing the code that hit the StationGlobals.  My aim is to fix on both machines (at least one remote).

    It is the expression he doesn't like:

    StationGlobals.Models = Locals.Models,

    However, this same expression is in the original code.  The only thing that has changed is the addition of a new model number in the Locals.Models.newNumber.  I suspect that this contributes to the error.  But why it give me an error when I run the local original sequence?  Maybe I should try running it again...

    In both cases, suggestions to overcome the error?

    Thank you.

    RayR

    Please ignore the post.

    I found the problem...  There was a disconnect with the number of models.  Easy fix.  It's all good.

    For anyone else that might fall on this thread for the same reason, here is an explanation.

    I added a new model with its variants to the Locals.Models list.  In total, he had 16 additions to the list.

    I also added to the StationGlobals.  Which means that my StationGlobals is no longer equal that on the remote PC.

    Where the error came, is there a model missing in the StationGlobals, so the size (number of models) does not match that of the local population.

    Surveillance at sea listed models a slight (I won't even count them).  Now fixed.

    ... and embarrassed...

    I can thus give me an "acceptable Solution".

    I've lost the ability to copy files on my CD player.  When I drag and drop, the only authorized action is 'move' and it does not work.   I tried press and hold the CTRL key while dragging, and when I do that all the other disks show "copy" as the default action, but when I hover over the action CD player available only changes to 'pass '.   I ran the Microsoft Troubleshooting tool for CD/DVD players and he said that the media were not writable, but there is a blank CD in the drive.  Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

    Thanks, but the cd/dvd drive works well - I can burn a cd with windows media player for example.  the problem is that I can't copy files to it.   I can play CDs (haven't checked the DVD).  I can not do and could do before, is doing drag and drop files on it.  The only authorized action is "move".   This happens even when I click CTRL + do drag.   I can copy it to any other player, but the CD player, and when I hover over the "exemplary" drive CD goes to 'move '.

    To start the line

    Selected: 0 to 6840575 scale 6197758 SR 44100

    is not a very good idea, because you try to select beyond the end of the file on which you operate. If you select 6197758 in the scale of 0 to 6197785 SR 44100, then you will select the entire file. But then again, if you have selected 0 to 1 scale 1 SR44100 you reach exactly the same thing.

    If you are using this as a part of a batch file and backups do not work properly, you'll probably need to check all the parameters of format in the treatment by lots - but try to fix the script so that it seem weird first.

  • In Actions and batch destination folder

    I use Photoshop CS on a G4 Mac (PPC) with OS X 10.4.11.

    I need to convert folders of JPEGs with in Adobe RGB sRGB profile. I recorded a 'action', that works very well, except for one thing. Here are the instructions in the help files for Photoshop:

    To create a new action:

    1. Open a file.
    2. In the actions palette, click the new Action button New button , or choose new Action in the Actions palette menu.
    3. Enter a name for the action.
    4. (Photoshop) Choose a game from the context menu.
    5. Optionally, set one or more of the following options:
      • Assign a keyboard shortcut to the action. You can choose any combination of a function key, the Ctrl key (Windows) or the command key (Mac OS) key and the SHIFT key pressed (for example, Ctrl + Shift + F3), with these exceptions: in Windows, you cannot use the F1 key, nor can you use F4 or F6 with the Ctrl key.
      • (Photoshop) Assign a color to the Display Mode button.
    6. Click Save. The button Save in the actions palette turns red Record button (red) .
    7. Important: During the recording of the Save command slot, do not change the file name. If you enter a new file name, Photoshop records the name of the file and use this file name every time that you run the action. Before saving, if you navigate to a different folder, you can specify a different location without having to specify a file name.

    8. Choose the commands and perform the operations you want to save.
    9. To stop recording, click the Stop button, choose stop recording in the Actions palette menu, or press the ESC key. To resume recording in the same action, choose start recording in the Actions palette menu.

    It's the ' Important: 'little under 6 years old. I am concerned If, upon registration of the action, I said, again, "Desktop" in which "Save as.."... ", and then when I use the command Batch I Specifies a (different) special destination folder, I find myself with two lots of images converted: a batch in the destination folder, the other on the desktop. If, upon registration of the action, I specify a particular location to save in, and then I can not (or can I?) use this action on another occasion when I have not created a folder of the same name and to specify a new folder under 'batch '. And if I specify the same destination folder in action recorded in 'Batch', that I will meet more troubles.

  • Perform the action in batch mode

    Hi all

    OK, I'll try to explain this better than I can.

    That's what I have:

    In a PSD file, I have a 5 x 7, a team and a 3.5 x 5 a child of this team, called a MemoryMate.

    I have an action that will make a > content replace < 3.5 x 5 jpg image. So with dialogue enabled in my action I can 'March' through all children of this one at the time and make a team record under and rename the PSD file.

    Which takes forever!

    What I want to do is:

    Open the MemoryMate.psd file and the PS (CS6) to a folder with all the kids on the team has.

    Run my (a) action to the > content replace < jpg 3.5 x 5, through all the jpg and saving a psd file with the same name as the jpg replaced.

    For example:

    INPUT-FILE >

    001.exe jpg - that is the first child in the folder.

    002 jpg

    003 jpg

    OUTPUT FOLDER >

    001.exe psd - which is the first saved the file psd MemoryMate

    002 psd

    003 psd

    I hope that makes sense for a person. If I can get this to happen, it will save literally hours and hours of work!

    Thank you

  • Is there a sequence recommended action to a new PC in Firefox?

    I read queries about mobile, history, bookmarks, etc., for the new PC using SYNC. Am I right to assume that I need 1)... Install Firefox on the new PC, 2...) run the SYNCHRONIZATION on the old PC, then 3...) run the SYNCHRONIZATION on the new PC?

    You can also... using a tool such as LapLink PCMover would do the same for me?

    And since we have several accounts of users both the old PC (windows XP) and the new (Windows 7) will each need the user to be synchronized individually or a cycle will put our separate bookmarks where they belong?

    bjnorthcarolina, no need to use tools such as LapLink PCMover. You have to install firefox on the new PC and synchronize themselves. You can also export bookmarks to import.

    HI -.

    Hello

    Please write in the Microsoft Community Forums.

    I see that you are not able to turn on the "Network Access Protection" , you get an error message "Agent Service is not running".

    Maybe it's because the service related to network access Protection must be disabled.

    It would be more useful, if you answer this question:

    Your computer is connected to the domain network?

    I recommend you follow the steps to enable the network access Protection.

    a. click the Start button.

    b. Type "services.msc" in search programs and files and press ENTER.

    c. right-click Network Access Protection and start the services.

    d. choose Start from the context menu.

    After you start the services try to enable the network access Protection.

    If you need help with the Windows operating system, just tell me and we will be happy to help you.
