Server Admin is R12?

Hi all

Is there and admin server in R12? I know that server admin is in 11i. but bit confused abt admin server in R12. some books he's server administrator in R12 and some blogs says that there is no server administrator. Please clear this doubt.

It is not there in R12 and this is clearly mentioned in the manual of concept of R12, Page 1-8

I have generator password with a password manager and looks like it was too complicated for the embedded server! Did not work thereafter. I see that you need to reset the EWS password for your printer HP ENVY 5660. I can understand the frustration you are experiencing. If you do not know the password, we will have to reset the printer to factory settings it to remove it. This will remove all preferences and settings of the printer. Once you reset the printer, you will need to reconfigure the wireless to the printer again.

I can send you this information in a private message. In the forum next to your handle name simply click on the envelope to see.

When you set a password on the built-in Web server, choose a password that you will remember.

TIP: Enter a password for the administrator account. When a password is set, the name of the administrator (Admin) and the password are required to view or change the EWS Networking. To disable the password, leave the password empty settings.

NOTE: This password has nothing to do with the security of the network.

Some servers the "server admin" link, where I can activate plugins, however, others doesn't.

According to my understanding "Server Admin" link displays if the user has "sysmanager" role. Just check if the logged in user "weblogic" "sysmanager" or not.

Can someone tell me please in the right direction.
I can't connect to https:/%SERVER%/admin with the admin im account.
However I can connect with the https:/%SERVER%/vcops-vsphere admin account
I tried to reset the password of admin with the password de./resetadminpwd.sh % , but this has not fixed my problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried to log into the shell of vApp using the admin account - lock sometimes has this account and this could be the problem...

A database server is called server administration

In a report to documents server itself called admin server.

I'm confuse any server admin.

1 back changes

OR

2 restore backups of form of config.xml

OR

3. manually, locate the tag added ssl, remove it and restest if the problem disappeared.

Primary domain server admin can be used to control the server managed in the secondary area?

I have 2 boxes of unix, and I have 1 installation of weblogic on each (primary) and secondary site.
The implementation is as listed below:
PrimarySite
MainDomain: 1 Admin Server, managed server 2, 1 cluster
SecondarySite
MainDomain: 1 Admin Server, 2 servers managed, 1 cluster
Questions
1. can I use Admin Server primary site to control/manage servers managed at the secondary site and use the secondary site to control the server managed in the main site?
2. I'll be able to have smooth failover and replication of cluster1 session in a primary site to cluster2 in the secondary site.

ESX 4.1, Win Server 2003, ESET NOD32 Server Admin

I moved my ESET NOD32 physical server so that it became a virtual machine running on ESX v4.1
I used the VShpere customer, importing machine tools to achieve this.
My virtual machine sees the network and the internet very well and has
no significant errors in the server log. It is currently running Win serv 2003.
My ESET NOD32 client machines (PC, servers) now States, the server cannot be contacted.
We will use the default port, 2223 for admin server for example.
The Windows Firewall is DISABLED on the server of ESET NOD32.
Is there something in ESX / VSphere that prevents certain ports to be used? A place for 'open port '?

Remove the server from list view Server Admin

I'm trying to find out how to remove a server listed in the list of servers in admin mode I added a replica server earlier but blew it distance trying to diagnose a separate problem. This server appears in the list of servers to view within the Administration console even if it no longer exists. How can I remove this? Thank you.

Can I delete the VC server admin group? -Not the operating system.

HI, when installing the VC server,-VCenter creates the Admin group by default as the admin of the VC server. If after the installation can remove us that group from the VC Server? I don't think there should be a problem, but I want to be sure about this?

I had this problem and found the solution:

Open the nodemanager.properties ($MW_HOME/wlserver_10.3/common/nodemanager/)
and StartScriptEnabled set to true (default is FALSE). This solves the problem for me.

Server admin common to various portals?
I have my admin and portals separately hosted servers. Now, I want to add another completely different portal, but use the same admin server. The portals will also use the same PB. Is - this viable? Be wary of any challenges?
This is the normal configuration. 1 admin server affects all the other portals servers that share the database.

10.3 record Server Admin and run as a windows service.
I have not found anything this either in the new documentation on how to proceed that left wondering if there is a reason, it has been omitted? I found the 8.1 documentation procedures but would rather have something more up-to-date. I install on win 2003 server. Thank you.

Edit: I found the installSvc.cmd script in the %wlshome%\server\bin directory and tried. In accordance with the instructions you set servername, and then call the script. It seems to install ok services but when I start them they stop immediately without specific errors in the event viewer.

Server Admin is up - but SOA Server is not started

I am facing a problem with my server local soa (unmanaged server configuration). The server administrator comes and her is soa-infra so when checked from the EM console.
But the console is not displayed the message "SOA platform is running and is accepting applications".
I see the message in the log below

It was working fine up until yesterday and stopped working today after a few deployments. I have now cancelled all my composite & always the console does not display "SOA platform is running and is accepting applications.
Clues?

Found this to be due to a bad version of the bpm - services.jar. On the replacement of the jar to the saved version, fixed the problem.
