  According to the reference manual pdf for 2015 of CC, there are instructions for download, install and using the extension AIR to deploy sites like AiR apps.  I see other people in the past (2012-2013) has had some problems, search the forums, but couldn't find a resolution (or at least one which is currently running).  This support is dead?

  The PDF for Dreamweaver reference manual is a confusing patchwork of old and new information. Although the information on the new features are usually added, detailed information about the features that have been removed there are still survive. Dreamweaver has more support to build AIR applications.

  I'm looking for info on how to start to develop extensions for DW CC specifically:

  1 guides, tutorials

  2 QAnywhere

  Is what I want to be able to do, among other things:

  1 Add items of insertion in the Panel/menu "insert".

  2 add panels.

  3 be able to drag items from this Panel in the design

  4. be able to identify the tags in the web page in the form of special tags. like how jquery UI tags are identified and have this small hovering label

  5 be able to develop specialized real estate views for special tags. How jquery ui tags have special properties, once I pressed this small stationary thing of the label.

  A question that can really help to answer to-can say the guides for CS5 be a good starting point and from there figure out what to do through the box extendscript Toolkit?

  The books are old, understand and adapt to the new versions, but in essence, all the same rest.

• Cannot install the behavior extension for server and database for Dreamweaver CC 2014

  Hello

  I try to install the server behavior & extension of the database in my CC of Dreamweaver 2014 of the trial.  I've added it to https://creative.adobe.com/addons/patches/2176#.VGJ7TvnF-DA and it shows I have, but it has not yet appear in Dreamweaver.  I followed the steps outlined in the troubleshooting list:

  Internet works

  The application is compatible with the addon

  The application of CC desktop is installed and running

  Synchronization of files is enabled

  After that, I tried to install it through the Adobe Extension Manager.  As soon as I loaded up the Manager has crashed.  Whenever I open it crashes immediately.  Here is the error report:

  I then removed my addons, then deleted and reinstalled the extensions Manager.  As soon as I tried to open the Manager it still crashes.

  Try the following.

  1. Uninstall the current extension.
  2. Install the DMXZone extensions Manager
  3. Using the extension Manager DMXZone, install the connections/data server behaviors panel

  I revise my existing work site, (custom labels of wine, initially created in Dreamweaver CS3 I think!) to be liquid and the mobile environment. I'm stubborn in this way, a layman. On some pages I have tables with a picture of the above sample label and a text below caption. I'm running in the alignment problems. But especially as a guide (for Dummies?, for my learning curve) that accurately reflects this 2014.1.1 version? (Whether a physical book or online guide). I think when I'm in the creative cloud (for easy mobile it only recently) perhaps it wasn't the version first, strawberry, I've read this. The thoughts of anyone who may be useful before I'm-God forbid - abandon and search engines can't find my site, as told me?

  The Adobe Dreamweaver learn by video by David Powers is excellent as well as Dreamweaver classroom in a book. Both are available in a physical format or as a download.

  I was wildly excited know CC allowing extensions to HTML5, until I noticed that Dreamweaver does not support this yet.  Doesn't make sense to me as Dreamweaver is designed for the code for the web.  Any idea when the support can be added?  I want to go to work making extensions!

• Kaosweaver Extension for Dreamweaver

  Hi all, I just downloaded Advanced Random Images on Kaosweaver extension, and I got exciting success (after a few troubleshooting) to use to create the basic elements of slide show on a web page. Then... I had these wild hair that maybe I could use the same element in an HTML email, but after that, I could ONLY it will appear in the display as a Web Page option. I'm lame in the head, or is it possible to make this work in the format of the email? All images are absolute paths, and all image sources are uploaded to the server.

  I just copied the Kaosweaver code in the email code. Ideas, I'm basically a person Design view, split the best view. Thank you!

  Several clients email, if not more, does not run any JavaScript within the e-mail content, and if they do not, then the extension code (which I guess uses JavaScript) will not work.

  Now, the above may not be true of some or all email online visualization applications (think GMail, etc.). If it works at all in one or more, consider yourself lucky, but expect does not have to work in anything else.

  I see a few similar threads, but not exactly the same problem, I do not see the menu.

  I inserted a JPG > selected the img > open the Properties menu > expanded menu: lack of hot spot Menu

  I tried to delete the "macfilecach...". "no luck, then I tried uninstaller and reinstalling is also no luck.

• Problems with FTP of Dreamweaver and Yosemite [subject edited by Moderator]

  (Newly) installed Dreamweaver does not recognize my server (ftp.jakkoke.com). Check the firewall (no problem), other ftp programs that work fine, old version of Dreamweaver - works but not with Mac os 10.10 Yosemite. Implemented irs.guv - new Dreamweaver communicates with this and other FTP sites very well. Uninstalled and reinstalled twice. What should I do?

  Please follow the steps mentioned below:

  1. Quit Dreamweaver runs.
  2. Go to the Spotlight (magnifying glass icon on the far right of the menu bar) and type "keychain". Locate the "Keychain Access" application, then click on to start.
  3. In Keychain Access, you should see a list of keychain items.  Look in the 'Name' column for an affected item named with the name of the Site from your site. It will look something like this: ' sitename-SiteServer 0. It will also say 'application password' in the column 'Genre '.
  4. Click the item to select. You should see a few properties of the Keychain item appears at the top of the Keychain Access window. As a double check, make sure that the value for the 'account' is the name of the FTP user.  If this isn't the case, then you can have the wrong item.
  5. Once you are happy, you have the correct item, and it is selected, press the delete key to remove it. Leave the application open for now.
  6. Start Dreamweaver, go to the "Manage Sites" dialog (Site > Manage Sites...) and modify the affected site. Click on the servers section and double-click the server in the list to edit it.
  7. Enter the FTP username and password, and then click Save to close the editing server box and click on save again to close the site box.
  8. You should now see that a new element of Keychain has been created in Keychain Access (it must have the same name).
  9. You can quit Keychain Access and Dreamweaver now and then restart Dreamweaver and check if it works now without having to re - enter the FTP details.

  Please let us know if you still face problems.

  I just downloaded (and installed) CFMX7.02 and Dreamweaver CS3. The extension for Dreamweaver in/wwwroot/CFIDE/installers... file name: said CFMX7DreamWeaverExtensions.mxp is not compatible with Dreamweaver CS3 when installed using the extensions manager that came with the installation of Dreamweaver CS3.
