Service Pack downloads on reinstalled Windowx XP OS 1,2,3

Due to problems with my laptop, I had to re install Windows XP. I need at least service pack 2 to download my air card broadband for internet access because it requires at least Service Pack 2 to download the Sprint air card that is needed to access the internet, so I can download the service pack 1, 2, or 3 of Microsoft.com? I tried to download the service pack 3 on a flash drive to transfer on laptop, but I think that I can't download service pack 3, until I have 1 or 2? I can't find the service pack 1 or 2 on Microsoft.com to download the flash player? If I find him, how can I transfer the service pack 1 and 2 and then 3 for the flash player to my new re installed Windows XP?

  • Smartphones blackBerry Service Pack download problem

    Hello.

I am trying to display Asian characters in my "BOLD", but I have problems with service packs.

I have problems to download any service pack! I tried the Hong Kong packs and packs of AT & T but my problem is that the download is going really slow, suddenly stops and the file download is incomplete. This is perhaps due to the blackberry Web site?

I tried to download several packages, different suppliers, different days this week, even using different browsers (Firefox, Chrome), but it's not helping.

No idea what's going on? or what to do?

Servers without doubt just slow and/or you are login time-out.

There is no servers spread down that I've heard.

    Keep trying.

  • My E drive stopped reading CD/DVD. I have a desktop compaq with Vista Home Premium w / all service packs downloaded. My E drive doesn't recognize any disc in the drive.

How can I get my E drive working again?  I inadvertently stopped a backup file and ejected from the disc without it completed stopped.  Now, he does not recognize the disc.  Please help me.  Computer: Compaq (Desktop), Windows Vista Home Premium, Service Packs 1 and 2.

    Hello

Check with the support of Compaq, their online documentation and drivers and their forums for
    known issues.

Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.

Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
    below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward
cable or slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
contacts data with a pencil eraser.

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

    ===============================

Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD
Burn and CD and DVD read). So it is not unusual for 1 or 2 operational so that other parts
    do it right.

Did you follow the Troubleshooting Guide for the reader who still does not work? There are
the entries in registry that the troubleshooter does not solve and those who "might" be the cause.

Check with your Maker system and a device for the two possible firmware updates and
the correct registry entries for your car.

Here are the keys that I of course are those in question - for the subkeys of the CD/DVD drive

    the parameters.

  • I would like to re - install Windows Vista, but my drive does not all service packs. Download Windows Vista with service pack already on it?

so, I'm running vista 64 bit basic, I want to do a fresh install,

but my drive is very early (noservice packs ect) can I download of ms a basic family of complete up-to-date vista 64-bit with sp2 with my cd key? or should I shut up and make from my cd and cope? If I do a reinstall should I reinstall all my programs as well?

    Hello yaleblor,

You can download the full SP2 for Vista from here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=16468

Save the file to a CD/DVD or USB key.

Once you have the service pack downloaded file, you can use your current Vista CD to install a fresh copy of Windows Vista on your C: drive. Once you have installed Vista you can install service pack 2 directly from the CD/DVD or USB you originally stored it on. All you then need to do is to run the Windows updates to update your system completely.

You can find out how to do a clean install by looking at this link from my Web site: http://vistasupport.mvps.org/install_windows_vista.htm

After you install Windows Vista, you will need to re - install all your programs, so make sure that you have all the programs by hand before starting to consider reinstalling Windows.

Resolution 3: Close or disable any applications that may be running, restart the computer and then install the service pack

Click here to show or hide detailed information

Important These steps may increase your security risk. These steps may also make the computer or the network more vulnerable to attack from malicious users or malicious software such as viruses. We recommend the process that this article describes to enable programs to operate as they are designed for, or to implement specific program features. Before you make these changes, we recommend that you evaluate the risks that are associated with implementing this process in your particular environment. If you decide to implement this process, take additional measures to protect the system. We recommend that you use this process only if you really need this process.

During installation, one of the most frequent causes of failure occurs when a third-party application holds open a file or locks a file that the service pack installer should use. For example, an application third-party antivirus or antispyware may cause this problem. To minimize this risk, follow these steps:

    1. close all applications and restart your computer.

    2. Once your computer has restarted, disable any antivirus or any antispyware application that can load during the startup process. You can normally disable the notification area application. This area is located in the bottom right corner of the computer screen. To disable an application in the notification area, follow these steps:

    a. right-click on the icon of the third-party program.

    b. click Close, disable, outputor an equivalent term in the list of options. If these options are not available, you may open the application and then close or disable in the application.

    3. as soon as you close the antivirus or the antispyware software, try to click here to install the download package full of the service pack that you previously downloaded from the following Microsoft Download Center Web site.

    4. After completing the installation of the service pack, enable the antivirus or the antispyware software that you disabled in the previous steps.

If your problem is still not resolved, you can try the steps of troubleshooting on your own, or you can contact Microsoft technical support.

Resolution 4: Uninstall security applications, restart the computer and then install the service pack

A third-party security application (for example, an antivirus application, a firewall, or antispyware software) can still be causing the installation fails, even though you tried to disable the application. The Windows Vista SP1 installation requires several restarts of the computer, and the security application may be reload after the first reboot. Applications that provide registry repair features may also cause the installation to fail.

You can uninstall your third-party security application before you install the service pack. However, you should do this only if you are positive that you can reinstall the application as soon as the service pack installation is complete. To reinstall the third-party security application, you'll need either the original installation media for the application, or you need the original download. You may also need a product key to reinstall the third-party security application.

If you are sure that you can reinstall the third-party application, uninstall the application from the programs and features item in Control Panel. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. close all applications and restart your computer.

    2. Once your computer has restarted, click Start

    Collapse this includes this image

    .

    3. in the find what box, type programs.

    4. click on programs and features.

    5. click on the name of the security program that you want to uninstall.

    6. click on Uninstall.

    7. After you have uninstalled the program, restart the computer.

    8. try to click here to install the download package full of the service pack that you previously downloaded from the following Microsoft Download Center Web site.
Note You have uninstalled your security software, and your computer is more vulnerable to attack by malicious users or by malicious software such as viruses. We recommend that you do not surf the Web, use e-mail, or use instant messaging, up to what you have done to solve the problem, and you have reinstalled your security software.

    9. After completing the installation of Windows Vista SP1, reinstall the security program that you uninstalled in the previous steps.

    * All of these resolutions were conducted, but still having trouble running SP1 & SP2. It's a problem of installation and after the installation of Service packs 1 & 2 times. I have a SYSTEM of 32-bit operating systems. KB947821 analytical TOOL has also been installed!, by following the instructions in res 2. Security / Antivirus has also been disabled in accordance with the instructions of res 3 & 4. Service packs Download but will not work!

  • NI Service Update: updates and Service Packs: LabVIEW FPGA Module Xilinx Tools 10.1 2012

    Hello

I downloaded / installed the latest 2012 LV - everythin fine so far (his grand )

OR-Update Service proposed the installation of a service pack - download and installation worked too.

NOR-US also suggested to update the tools for FPGA from Xilinx module, but the download does not work. It looks that the download link is broken?

    Any suggestions?

Another interesting question: I live in Austria (German), but we use Windows & LV entirely in English in our society. NOR-United States however is highly localized - even the description of the object is in German. While it is OK for me, I still wonder if I could change it to English too.

  • S52060f Pavilion Slim Line: how create a set of recovery disks is service pack 1 burn on the disc

    Hello

No problems with one of my desktop windows 7 but have some questions and concerns.   Outside my thin line, I have 2 other computers hp windows 7.  They are p6510T CTO Desk Top clubhouse and Pavilion HPE H8m Desk Top.   I created my own set of recovery for each computer cd.   When I created the recovery discs, I don't remember if my computer came with service pack 1 preinstalled by buying them directly at Hp.     My first question is this.   Do plant purchased hp computers come with service pack 1 already preinstalled.

Next question.   If they do and the recovery discs that I burned for each service pack 1 image, too, be burned on the disks.   Finally.   Is there a limit to the way in which many times can I use my recovery by computer disks.

You place your order of recovery disks is not possible that they are discontinued.   I also undertand after reloading windows I can load the service pack 1 back when running a windows update.   But it is easier to have service pack 1 already imaged on any set of recovery disks.   If some can please please point this out.    Thank you.

If you create recovery discs when you got the computers, you can use them as many times as you want as long as they continue to work.  SP1 would not be included.  I don't think that they were not in what you received initially.  They come through Windows Update, see the center of update and the Service Pack
