  I use a cf 9.1 application and session variables do not work.  TestPage.cfm sets a variable of session.rage and has a button to access page 2 where I cfdump the session and there is no variable defined rage here.  I work with legacy where apparently this habit of working code.  Help?  CFAPPLICATION tag below:

  I think that session is only valid for the base App., if you switch to a new app a new session is created.

  I have a Session variable, I am assigning it an initial value [3] during the loading of the page. But, during the drop value menu selection and the "submit" button hit, I update the value of the Session variable.
  The update is unsuccessful and the session variable is preserved the initial value. Here's the code used to assign the value to the Session variable:

  First of all, you cannot use EQ with CFSET comparison operator. It should result in an error. If this is done on the bottom, there will be an error and nothing is set.

  Also, are you sure that FORM. Offer exists during the validation of the form?

• Session Variables do not persist

  Hello everyone, I am writing an app to work where a user connects to a system and then adds and removes entries from a database via a web application. I use session variables to store the ID of the user and the permissions of this user. I get through the connection very well. After clicking on a link on the following points if the page ("a href =" link) session variables are not available on the next page. I don't understand why the session variables are not persistent throughout the site.   I solved the problem. The problem was that the CFID and CFTOKEN variables have been changed from one page to another page in my site. It was because I was using http://app/... http://###.###.###.###/... and a few pages in other pages. I was using the name of the server for some intellectual property for some and FC saw these different sites and changed the CFID and CFTOKEN variables, so my session have not persisted through the site.

  I use CP 7.0.1.237.

  We want to use the widget text box for a custom quiz and verify a response. While we understood how to check the existence of certain key words, we are not able to find a way to check that the content does NOT contain certain keywords. For example, we want to ensure that the text entered in this widget does not contain a "Transformation" and "Non-compliant.

  Is this possible at all?

  Anthony, it works perfectly. Created this conditional action with 4 decisions. I used the interaction of training text scrolling in CP8 (because now you can control the variable - which means I might have a Reset button):

  I put the variable words (v_first... v_fifth), it's a reflex I use since I shared actions that much. The variable associated to the ETB (you can now reset an empty var in CP8) is v_TextArea and the Boolean value that will decide if positive feedback (StarOK) should be shown is v_TA_OK. If you want to display a negative feedback, put this in the ELSE part of the final decision.

  FYI: it took 15 minutes, including the creation of assets and the variables and tests. Personally I would have needed more time to do it in JS, but that's just me.

• Session manager does not work

  I don't know if this goes in the tabs section or the section modules, so I placed it here in tabs.

  I label mix more and that's what happened to me recently:

  I just started firefox; He asked me to restore the tabs and I said 'yes', but all tabs are empty. I thought it was a mistake, then I closed Firefox and restarted and now the sessions don't ask me if I want to restore the previous session. After playing with it, I've broken down and started a new session. Got the essential and other elements, closed firefox and he asked me if I want to save, and I said 'yes '. When I went to open firefox, nothing happened. He didn't ask me to restore the session or anything like that. I checked the session manager and sessions before that I just do (sessions that were there when the bug happened) were there and the session manager still does not work.

• Home Menu Variable does not turn off

  On start-up the first today, I found that when you look at the screen in the application library, the host Variable menu is also visible... and won't turn off not... even if I restart the calculator.

  I can it turn on and off in the reception area, but not in the library App box... see screenshot attached for example approximate (I can't reproduce on the screen of virtual calculator to get an exact screenshot)

  Suggestions to turn this feature off...? As it does not block the icons of the touch screen on the left side, etc. ?

  Don't think of a paper clip reset as a "last resort."  It does not clear the memory, or delete your programs, or something drastic like that.  He simply makes a soft "warmstart" (also known as a "reboot") which is the first in his normal state of operation.  This is useful not only what premium starts acting wonky (due to corruption of the memory of a static spark, or a bug or simply no chance), but you can use it even when you put the appliance in a State that you do not know how to get out, and you do not have the time to search the user's Guide.  Just search the Reset hole (he should have called it Reboot, do not reset to zero) and you'll be back in business.

  WARNING: A paperclip reset CAN erase the memory (and delete all your stored data) if it detects that the memory is so damaged that it must be emptied to restart.  So if your premium starts acting psychotic, use the connectivity Kit to back up your programs and your variables before poking the hole... just Reset in case it clears the memory.

  Hello, I'm writing because I'm having a problem with the use of shared variables. I am doing a project for College and I use the DSC for his shared variable function. The problem im having is that shared variables do connect it no more. I followed a document "Getting started with LabVIEW Datalogging and supervisory Control Module" and managed to build an IOServer and shared variables in accordance with the document to deploy successfully. It was a few days ago. Today when I opened the project file even shared variables would not connect. IM also having the same problem with other projects that I made over the weekend that worked, but do not work now.

  I am pleased to see that you are able to work with your LabVIEW installation now. 0x0000002A error message reported only in what concerns the communication between the shared variable engine and part mutual FUND of the DSC module is blocked.  This was usually resolved by inspecting the security settings Windows for the firewall, as discussed earlier.

  As for your second question, it might be better to start a new post.  However, please specify what files you want to move and what wisely win. Where would you like the directory that is to be held and for what benefits?  If you are hoping to achieve a gain of performance or similar, there may be different approaches other than moving files.

  Can someone tell the attached page, why my single variable sharing does not work with the LabVIEW application that I'm running on my PC. I put the variable 48 (I thought), and again in la OR Distributed System Manager, the value is not changed.

  Reset that my PC seems to have understood things works better. The VI is now able to read/write the shared variable.

  Sorry, I give up. You seem not to understand that you need another approach. Especially your answer 1 is not correct, why has the right of v_none, you are not in the mind of the person who checked it? 2 you give the opposite, what happens if the user has archived v_none really because he won't? Anywat that it is not possible to verify this with a single action advanced conditional with two decisions, because the sequence needs to be reversed for the second situation compared with the first situation. Everything should be in a single decision, with THEN/ELSE, but I do not understand the logic, so you can not help.

  Try to install NetApp SRA in MRS.  SRA detected the NetApp controller at the remote site, but I'm not going on the local site.  I always get this error message: cannot load the SRA to "C: / Program Files (x 86) / VMware/VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager/storage/sra/ONTAP '." SRA command 'queryInfo' na not return a response.

  I tried to uninstall/reinstall SRM, SRA, Perl: nothing changed.  If anyone has any idea on what could be the problem, it would be great to share it here.

  Thank you for your comment.  The service does not start with the local administrator account, but with a domain account that is a member of the administrator group local in the service started, SRA in functional in SRM.

  To amplify what Timo has rightly said: JSF goes through its joyful life cycle, is one of the steps to rebuild the tree of components in memory. When you use the property made, this particular component is not in the tree of components - it is as if it does not yet exist according to JSF. Then, when it comes time to respond to the events, the event is not seen or is ignored (I don't know who) because JSF think not that this component is present. As rightly says Timo - this behavior is why the 'visible' attribute was created.

• With multi-page session state does not save

  I built an online form using apex that has 4 pages. The first 3 pages save in a session state on the last page running a process that inserts the data of 4 pages in the table. The first 3 pages are set to present an update of SQL.
  
  The issue I'm having is that when I want to go back to a page within the session using the previous buttons, I created, the values of the previous page is no longer present in the fields (all fields are now empty). I got to the origin of the previous button to submit and then redirect to the previous page when clicking on the value. Then I tried just to set the button to redirect to the previous page without presenting and then it does not still work. Anyone know what could be causing this? Your help is very appreciated.

  Hi Mika,

  Have you checked the source of the page elements in your form to make sure that they are not using "Always replace any value stored in session state". If this field is selected in the menu drop-down, then they will be wiped off.
