Set the position of the slider way via calc

So I have an icon of simple screen (icon title = Flash Movie Position cursor) object defined with the following settings:
Positioning = path
Mobile = path
Base = 0
Initial = 0
End = 100

I know how to get the current position using should or DisplayX, but how I put it through the code? I tried to use SetIconProperty to LocationX, BaseX, InitialX, but none works. Other than just the user dragging, I want the cursor to move on its own during playback of flash video. I have the calculation to set based on the X position of the current frame, just can't find this magical setting to specify a value for the path to get there.

PS: This isn't using the slider WinCtrls just a main Authorware trajectory using a screen icon.

Here's an example of my control of swf movie file finished (7.02 Authorware used to create). Thanks for all the help.

  • How to set the slider tool to select the tool when opening acrobat XI 11.0

    I need the tool to default to the Selection tool and NOT the hand tool slider when you open Acrobat XI 11.0

    Hi mkwillden,

    Once you select the "Select" tool any subsequent launches of the software should keep the 'selection' as default tool.

    If this isn't the case, you can specify the parameter registry here:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\11.0\Selection

    Change the data of aDefaultSelect to Select or by hand as requires it.

  • How to set the properties of the slide to 'show time' unlimited?

    Hello

    I'm working on a captivate project based PPT.

    I have a slide with Yes / No buttons.

    I want to program the slide in such a way that, if the user clicks 'Yes' control will pass to X slide.

    If the user clicks on the 'No' control will pass to slide.

    My question is I want the slide should be displayed until either Yes or no is clicked.

    But by default, drag properties is set to 5 sec. Also, I read in the HELP section that I can be on max 3 600 s I want.

    I want the slide is displayed until either eithere is chosen. Help, please.

    Thank you

    When you add a button or clickbox to Captivate slide timeline it is paused playback of film at a time that you specify.  By clicking on the interactive object will release the break and perform an action of your choice.

    In your case, you can add two buttons to the timeline on break at the same point.  Label a Yes and the other as a no. define success on (when selected) action of each button to go to the slide, and then specify which slide you want to access.  You will be able to choose the slide target via a menu drop-down.

    That's all you really need to do.

  • Update of the position of thumb slider as a symbol of film Clip plays

    I would like to know if there is a way to update the position of the thumb on the slider when playing a clip. Currently, I have a movie clip symbol on my scene with the name of the ShapeMC instance. It has about 10 images or animation and two actions. the first image has a stop action just like the last picture. The actions are on their own layer, separate from the current animation. I have also the slider in my library, but it is only there so I can reference it in AS3. My AS3 instantiates a variable of type cursor. I then set properties, such as width, height, thumb size, minimum, maximum, and carrier livedragging. I did it for the user can drag the cursor and move through the symbol of video Clip. I've added a button that allows the user to click on it and the AutoPlay of the video Clip symbol (ShapeMC). Anything that works. What I would do, it's when I hit the play button, I'd like to see the thumb on the slider to move the cursor when playing Movie Clip symbol (ShapeMC). So if the Movie Clip symbol reached framework 5, the issuance of thumb slider be seen as being in halfway through the tread. I tried to put the currentFrame in the value property of the slider, but that did nothing. No error, but it has not moved at all the thumb. Anyone have any ideas?

    If your cursor is yourslider, use:

    paramF(shapeMC,1,yourslider.minimum,shapeMC.totalFrames,yourslider.maximum);

    delete this listener if shapeMC does not play.  Re-add when he plays

    your_mc.addEventListener (Event.ENTER_FRAME, enterframeF);

    function enterframeF(e:Event):void {}

    yourslider. Value = shapeMC.currentFrame * shapeMC.m + shapeMC.b;

    }

    function paramF(mc:MovieClip,x1:Number,y1:Number,x2:Number,y2:Number):void {}

    MC.m =(Y1-Y2) /(x1-x2);

    MC.b = Y1 - mc.m * x 1;

    }

  • Funny question with the use of applescript to set the position of the quicktime window

    I use an applescript script in automator to start a recording quicktime. When I run the applescript to automator, everything works fine, but when I run the same sequence as a double-clickable application automator, it throws an error * when it gets to this line:

    Tell application "system events" to indicate the process "QuickTime Player" to set the position of the window before {1131, 725}

    Any ideas as to why?

    Thank you!!

    * Error is just, "the"Run AppleScript"action has encountered an error"

    Hello

    Do not use events from system but QuickTime Player itself to manipulate the window, especially when the scripts via the events system tends to be blocked under recent operating systems, even with special measures to release.

    Like that.

    set {x, y} to {1131, 725}
    tell application id "com.apple.QuickTimePlayerX" -- QuickTime Player X
        tell window 1
            set {l, t, r, b} to bounds
            set bounds to {x, y, r - l + x, b - t + y}
        end tell
    end tell

    or it-

    set {x, y} to {1131, 725}
    tell application id "com.apple.quicktimeplayer" -- QuickTime Player 7
        tell window 1
            set {l, t, r, b} to bounds
            set bounds to {x, y, r - l + x, b - t + y}
        end tell
    end tell

    Hello

    In your class that extends the PopupScreen, you must override sublayout like this:

    ' public void sublayout (int width, int height) {}

    Super.sublayout (Width, Height);
    setPosition (50,50);
    }

    Because the setPosition can occurs only in the layout method. And then, you can position your PopupScreen anywhere you want.

    For me it works...

    If you have another solution, that I take.

  • Cannot set the position of Popup LOV 10g shaped

    Hello

    I'm unable to set the position of popup window popup LOV in my canvas in Oracle Forms 10g.

    In the property Palette, I put X Position and Y Position for the desired values, but it is not in the actual position.

    Can someone please help in this regard.

    Thank you.

    Automatic Position property is set to True.
    Position Position & Y X is set to 0. Even in this case the LOV is rendered in the middle of the form. It is not displayed next to the button that causes LOV to display.

    I tried another way.
    Set the Automatic Position on no. property and set the X & Y Position the coordination required, then displayed in my desired position.

    So, I was missing the Auto value not earlier. Thanks for your reply, he helped solve the problem.

  • Calculation of the position of the slider is not working properly with a sensible step

    Hello

    I already wrote in another thread on this subject, but my problem is slightly different from the other discussion, so here's one more time:

    I want to display a symbol next to the slider. He should stay there as in this example here: http://sandbox.junglecrowd.org/static/publish/web/static.html

    When you use a sensible step (which is essential for my project, because I need width of 100% on all window sizes) ot the symbol placement is dependent on the window size and position on the screen. Here is an example of the problem:

    http://sandbox.junglecrowd.org/responsive/publish/Web/responsive.html

    Then, collecting the coordinates to the breast of EA seems not to be the right way... Or does anyone know a solution to compensate for the changes?

    My idea would be to get the coordinates outside the EA... would it be possible? And in what way?

    .. of course, other solutions are welcome!

    Here is my code... As you can see I am very new to EA and coding...

    Thank you!

    BTW: I read a lot of things in this forum before because of other problems, and I found many solutions: thank you all!

    SYM.createsym = function() {}

    var position = sym.$("box").show ();

    position2 var = sym.$("text").show ();

    position. CSS({)

    Top: sym.posY, left:sym.posX

    });

    position2. CSS({)

    Top: sym.posY, left:sym.posX

    });

    };

    Stage.MouseMove

    sym.posX = e.pageX + 30;

    sym.posY = e.pageY;

    SYM.createsym ();

    I discovered a solution now!

    I take the width of the window and make a report with the width of the stage variable... The stageratio then gets multiplied with the details... When resizing the window, variables are recalculated...  Here's a working example:

    Here's the code... If anyone knows how to do to improve it please tell me

    SYM.scaleratio = stageWidth/parentWidth;

  • How can I set different background color for the slider?

    Hello
    I want to set a different color for track Slider, slider track is spitted into two sections by slider-button.
    I want to put a left gray, the right of a white.
    Under css only changes the background of the entire track, but how I can change different background color for the slider?
    Any suggestion?
    .slider {
        -fx-border-width: 0;
    }
    .slider *.track {
        -fx-background-color:white;
        -fx-background-insets:  0, 1;
        -fx-border-color: #faf0e6;
        -fx-border-width: 1;
        -fx-border-style:solid;
        -fx-progress-color:yellow;
        -fx-border-radius: 20;
    }
    .slider.knobStyle:focused .knob {
        -fx-effect: dropshadow( three-pass-box , red , 5 , 0.5 , 0 , 0 );
    }
    .slider.knobStyle:unfocused .knob {
        -fx-effect: dropshadow( three-pass-box , red , 5 , 0.5 , 0 , 0 );
    }
    .slider .thumb {
         -fx-background-color:rgb(224,225,226);
         -fx-background-repeat:stretch;
         -fx-background-size:stretch;
         -fx-background-position:center top;
         -fx-background-image:url("../images/volume_ball.png");
            -fx-padding: 10;
    }

    I don't know why I can't get the node of the track, track has always set to null and the thumb or the other.

    After that the cursor was displayed on an active scene are you doing research?

    (ex.: after you have added the slider to a scene, the scene for scene, then called stage.show ())

  • The best way to set default styles in the libraries of widget for use by the public?

    I am putting together a code to go with my blog, and it will include a custom component. I would like to than the default component to use a style that I set, but I also want the user to be able to replace it easily. Anyone have any suggestions on the best way to do it?

    I see that the range slider [url http://www.jidesoft.com/blog/2011/10/04/meet-our-first-javafx-component/] of JideSoft we explicitly setting the skin in code in their example. Ideally the end-user would not do that. So, what is the best practice? Should I create a skin for my component and then set the style in my code? Should I set a basic style sheet that somehow always is imported, etc.?

    Essentially, I want to have my base of work styles in the same way that caspian.css is - is possible?
