• Control arrays disappear when closing the window .uir

  Using LabWindows/CVI 2010, I created a program of simple test with a panel containing a couple of buttons push, three tumbleurs and three control LED. I can create arrays of controls containing the toggle switches and/or LEDs in the .uir editor and access in the program, but when I close the .uir editing window and reopen the .uir file, control arrays are gone from the .uir file and of course when I rebuild the program I can't access it. This happens if I leave LW/CVI entirely or if I just close the editor of .uir. If I explicitly the file .uir after creating tables, everything seems fine, but then when I close the .uir window I see an asterisk briefly appear in the tab of the file name, as if it is modify the file, and then re-register on the goal.

  I can duplicate this just creating one or two control panels and by closing the window. Sets disappear, even though I explicitly save the .uir file after I created them. Is there something I can do to prevent this?

  It seems that your UIR may have have been saved for an earlier at some point.  If you open the UIR and look in the lower right corner, you say 'file UIR 2010'?  "Otherwise, you need to click on File ' Save *.uir as and save the UIR under a 2010 UIR.

  

  If you choose to save the IUR for an earlier version, CVI remembers this decision and always saves the IUR for than the previous version.  You will have to explicitly choose to save them for the current version.

  I can understand your concern, we inform you that the old user interface no more offers the possibility to set the reminder after the sending of the document.

  You will have to set up recall the tab manage in the old interface, or you can switch to the new user interface, where you will be able to set the reminder on the sending page.

  If you see the switch 'to the new user interface"link on the page"send"then you can click it to switch.

  Alternatively, you can open a ticket from your Adobe account Support sign with the request to switch your account Adobe sign to the new user interface.

• JTree disappears all by developing the node. Maybe a problem from hashCode().

  Hi, I have a JTree with custom template. I test with the following structure:

  When the application starts, root and the category are visible, the file is hidden. When I try to expand the class node, the JTree set disappears. A click away in the place previously occupied by the JTree result in a java.lang.NullPointerException at javax.swing.plaf.basic.BasicTreeUI$ Handler.handleSelection ().
  
  The nodes that I use represent a simple tree, where each node has its value and a LinkedList of his children. The model simply translated this to the 'language' of TreeModel.
  
  It is essential for me to properly define equals() and hashCode() for nodes. I discovered that if hashCode() of the nodes does not rely on a list of the children, everything works fine. But I want to rely on the children!
  
  I use 1.6.0_22 JRE on Win7.
  
  Where should I do something wrong, please?

  PS: I managed to get around that - in a TreeSelectionListener I call tree.setModel (tree.getModel ()) and then I restore the nodes selected and expanded. It works, but of course I'd rather have a cleaner solution. In addition, this seems like a bug in JRE for me.

  It might work if you launch a node struct event has changed because you have changed the hash code of the real parent when you changed the children of it. But catch all these traps (restore expand status, etc.) seems too much work just to avoid a node wrapper class.

• Best way to create bookmarks

  I am converting a 70 + to LiveCycle Designer 9.0.0.2 page contract model and would accomplish permanent bookmarks created when users open the form in Adobe.  Using information from this link, http://forums.adobe.com/message/4013698, I am able to set the initial view to open the Panel showing bookmarks.  Currently, am finishing still the master form, then when I re - open in LiveCycle, this setting disappears.  Once finished with the form, get the initial view.  Even with bookmarks. Can I create a bookmark of materials for the contract, but if I open in LiveCycle to change the content, I have to re - create the list of bookmarks in Adobe again.

  Is there a way to do what bookmarks will remain?  Have read and downloaded examples showing how to create them using XML, but not quite there to understand how to implement.

  Also, is it possible to keep so printed bookmarks to PDF?  In some cases the final version of the document will be printed in PDF format so they can also use the Comment/Markup feature in Adobe.  Even if I enabled form for Reader Extensions (we use the professional version - reader is for some remote users), am not able to use the features of mark-up/comment in Adobe or on add/remove pages until it is printed to PDF and is more a form of LiveCycle.  If there is something I'm missing here, would appreciate any advice, as printing to PDF is not the best option to achieve this functionality, as it loses other important features.

  The form is moved from Word to LiveCycle because it contains several sections with restarted page numbers, etc.  Use multiple master pages in LiveCycle to handle this, and it works well.  In Word, it is too easy for someone to accidentally remove a section break and spoil the numbering, headers/footers, etc.  So am hoping to overcome the problems with LiveCycle.  Thanks for any help.

  XFA form bookmarks where intoduced with LiveCycle ES3 (10.x) (also knows as ADEP) and there seems to be no way to create bookmarks in a previous version.

  The macro in bookmark in the thread you mentioned is designed for ES3 or higher.

  It can propably job in ES2, but is not guaranteed as in ES2 macro API was a unofficical, a feature not documented with some limitations and methods that at least in the official version.

  The macro will add an element of options for each object you want to create a bookmark for.

  This element options will be reinterpreted as a bookmark of the PDF Viewer, but for forms ES2 manufactured XFA it simply does not work (no idea why).

• My font sets have disappeared since I last used RH.

  If you have a backup of the project, you can copy the rhfontset.apj file to the new project where the fonts sets have disappeared. Also trash PCD of the project before the opening and the sets of fonts should be back.
