Setting to null objects

Hello.

I have 2 images.

1 framework for intro where the user can launch the game and game´s properties set.

2nd image to select the level.

When I use nextFrame() on 1st frame should I use pourla = null for all instances

who are on stage? Including instances that have been on scene not through code, but instances that have been

on stage without code?


And, in the 2nd West frame a button when you press it s moving the game to the first image again.

So, what should I do for instances that have been added on stage not through code prior to calling nextFrame()?

I have to leave the bodies that they (not their setting to null or not to uninstall applications with removeChild) so when the game comes back to the first image they are there still?

    Found the solution (via the devgirl.org blog comments).  It turns out that this is a known problem in Flash Builder 4.6 with the TextInput skin.  Quick and simple solution is to add

    skinClass = "spark.skins.mobile.TextInputSkin"

    for the TextInput tag and everything works again (I heard him talk about a problem with StageText and as you can see, which appears in the stack trace I became).

    Also became strangeness when exporting for Android (entries endangered and appear outside the textinput).  I hope this will fix this problem too.

  • Track Motion Works flawless, Null object on the otherhand is in every sense

    I have a video I do motion tracking for text. When I use the feature Track Motion, Anchor Point (tracker) is on-site and looks perfect. I then apply it to a Null object, and when I look at the Null object, it follows the path in general, but it is disabled by a little bit about 50% frames. Enough that when I link the text to be null, it is horrible and jumps autour. There is no way that the null object uses accurate motion tracker data.

    Why did the motion tracker seems perfect, and the null object is most of the time? Can I somehow incorrect configuration settings? I think I'm using the default settings.

    I tried 50 times literally.

    The top image shows the Tracker. He's dead now, and the anchor is in the exact spot every time.

    The second image shows the Null object at some point in the clip, and then the last photo is the Null object at a different point in the video clip.

    (3) use the Warp stabilizer to stabilize images.

    (4) make a demo.

    (5) use the Scout of the motion on the new prior model.

    YES!. Think about it. It is logical. WS is applied on your layer, Motion Tracking uses the layer without WS information. unless you pre comp and this actually mainly a new image stabilized to follow.

    Make sure that you move all attributes

    and deformations.

    Looks like the curvature of the subspace is making a mess of things. choose another method, NOT chain of subspace

    When Flash tells you that there is a null object reference, this means that an object that you are referring to a function is not available at this time here in the film. It is usually a problem with the object being not not in a particular setting. Make sure that the object, the key is actually in the frame where the function reference.

Here's the code from to escape the game of the room that I am creating.  Basically the user will be drag and drop items to reveal the user will collect hidden items.  I got the elements of drag-and - drop but I have a problem with the service that I write to recognize what are the elements and how much has been collected.  I just get the error

    OK, so I've spent the last few weeks trying to figure this on my own, looking at the other tutorials and nothing has helped my situation. I am beyond frustrated with this project and I just want to find an answer quickly. I have some experience with Flash to school, but I can't understand this because it doesn't make sense to me.

    I have two main parts of my file. I have a photo gallery and I have a video. The home page allows the user to take them to a number of areas where they can see a gallery of photos or video from a certain city. Photo gallery works fine as do videos. Well, now, user can get the gallery photo to video, but when I try to set up exactly the same thing to bring video to the images it gives me an error of output message:

    Click file/publish settings/flash and check "permit debugging".  Repeat the test.  the line number with the null object will be in the error message.  to highlight this line of code if you cannot solve the problem with this info.

    I guess that's cheezy to offer money to help (and I guess this a little tied to a post being discussed yesterday), but I'm so tired of searching - been trying things ALL day and its value at a minimum of $ 50 if someone takes a while to help with an explanation of what is happening and how to fix it (hopefully it's just a matter of newbie that I) be cursing myself for lack.)

    I have things to a restricted version of the app to demonstrate the problem. You can download (link at the bottom of page) and just run the html/SWF in bin-debug and you will see the problem (or perhaps understand the linke also supplied code).     I know that the problem is related to _defaultButton null in FocusManager focusInHandler (at least the debugger shows the problem here), but do not know why this is * there. You will see in two simple display batteries, I've set creationPolicy = "all" (I even tried to set createionPolicy = 'all' on almost all the components.)

    If you file a bug with your testcase, this will help to make sure we don't break it in Flex 4.  I don't know if there will be a new version 3.x.

    I got around the problem by adding to the level superior canvas in Main.mxml:

    defaultButton = "{mainNavigation.addEmployeeButton}" "

    In my view, that principle is once you assign a default button in a container, to keep something like the default button after that.  If the focus moves to a container without a default button, then I think he's in trouble.

    every time I tried to open the flash game site iam getting this question. sometimes IE browser cannot open it too much.

    Hey, I opened a page that runs Flash this always whenever rises ' TypeError: Error #1009: cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.     to town_fla::Button_237 / frame1 () '. The dialog box gives me two options either urgent continue or reject all. Normally I just press "Ignore all" and continue, but I was wondering if there was a solution to this problem. Either way, my computer runs Windows Vista Edition home premium.

    1. is the computer connected to the domain?

    2. what web browser do you use?

    3. when exactly the problem started?

    I suggest you uninstall and reinstall the latest version of Adobe flash player. Check if it helps.

    Hello, I am a newbie after effects user.

    I try to connect other solids or text boxes to the null object.

    What I learned from tutorials, it's that I can move text boxes by moving the null object after parenting the text boxes to the null object.

    Here is my error.

    The areas of tracing moves independently outside the text itself.

    This happens for all other solids.

    How do I fix this error?

    In the image below, you can see the red lines on the left side of the preview screen.

    It happened when I moved null object to the left.

    When I delete the null object, the text moves with its box.

    Of course your Null object will have to be both 3D...

  • Control the transparency of null objects

    Is it possible to control the transparency with a null object. I know that you can scale, rotate etc but I have no luck with transparency. Is there a work around?

    You can whisk the attribute of the opacity of the layer you want to order to the opacity of the null value attr.

    (1) select the layer draw and the layer that you want to control and press T to expose the attributes of opacity.

    (2) alt + click on the stopwatch for the opacity of the layer you want to be a slave (the opacity value should turn red & the expression will prove controls)

    (3) click on + drag the spiral to the attribute of opacity of the null value.  (in the layers slave expression field you should see something like "thisComp.layer("Null_1").transform.opacity")

    4) click on the layer to exit the field of expression.

    (5) If you want to disconnect alt click on the stopwatch for opacity of layers slave again.

  • Make a null object to draw a line

    I'm doing the null object to create a line. The goal is to have a line to attach to a person's head as it climbs through the screen. How to create this effect? I have already created an object draw and it's a solid track. I don't know how I'm supposed to transform the data to track online. I'm trying to show where his head was as he scales the wall.

    Looks like I forgot to include the keyframes of exemplary position in step 4.  Just select the position property and use the shortcut Ctrl/Cmnd + v to copy all keyframes.

    If you copied your null position keyframes and you it just use the shortcut Cmnd/Ctrl + v a mask path will be created which exactly follows the movement of the null value.

    It has more that you need and it treats 3D layers but the principle is exactly the same. It is only in the opposite direction. In this example, I copied a path and stuck on the position. You'll do just the opposite.

  • Null object that is not centered, why?

    Create a null object, and it is not focused on its location. Why?

    Looks like it would be the most obvious position to put the Visual representation of a null object. So the least likely place to Adobe to put?

    Or y at - it a logical reason?

    Objects null / layers have always been a hack of sorts. They are essentially solid just empty and well, all coordinates of the image taking birth in the top left corner, then they do for NULL values. Maybe we'll get old enough to see a correct widget for this one day...
