I need help with an error that I receive. I am on a Mac with OS X Mavericks. I just tried to install the Photoshop Elements trial version and when trying to open the 'install Adobe Download Assistant', I received this error:

configured. Please contact the author of the request for assistance. »
I have tried to download a new copy of the installer, with the same result.

Well, I solved it myself. I had already downloaded the download assistant, last year. Once I uninstalled this version and tried again with the new version, it worked.

I had some problems with my computer recently I knew could be solved with the system restore. Then I went into system restore and went to a restore point that was a few weeks back. After I clicked on it and pressing the ok button, the following message appeared: "the changes made to the G: drive after this point cannot be reversed, because the drive has been either excluded from monitoring system restore or has been disabled or deleted.» I let it continue and do the restore. My computer has rebooted and came up with an error in system restore that says restore failed. It's the same thing with other restore points. I don't know why I get this error because I not made any changes to this hard drive except for copy of a document word on him. I thought that the System Restore monitors removable disks. Anyone know what is happening here and how I can get the restoration of the system to operate without the mistakes to come?
I have Norton. Disable the Tamper Protection works. I also noticed that since the G: drive was a portable hard drive, System Restore wanted to exercise oversight. He wants to monitor all hard drives. Turn on external and portable hard disks prevents tracking system restore changes to the readers. I don't think anyone would have the system restore review external drives anyway. It is not necessary.

Original title: USB keys install but recives calls restriction of GPO.

"This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator. »
It is a roaming profile with policies. When a USB flash drive is plugged in for the first time, it installs but with invites it multiple restriction. The drive can be accessed and be used as usual after instillation. If the player is plugged into the same computer for the second time, there is no prompt. This also occurs on the readers no U3. Works as usual later with newly charge of roaming profile.
To be clear, I want that users can access USB drives.
I asked my dear friend Google, but he doesn't seem to know and I checked the policy, what don't get me?
Hi Shinnoch,
Please join us in Microsoft Community and give us the opportunity to help you.
According the description of the problems face you problems with access to a USB (Universal Serial Bus) flash drive.
To help you to propose measures to solve the problem, I would appreciate if you could answer the following questions:
1. is the computer connected to a network domain?
2 did you do changes on the computer before the show?
If the computer is connected to a domain network then the question you posted would be better suited in the TechNet Forums. I would recommend posting your query in the TechNet Forums.

A: the answers I received has not solved the problem. That's why I reinstaled XP1. but you started this thread on 06 September, almost a week after you 'reinstalled XP' and then installed SP2 & SP3. Please explain?
KB2393802 was missing, I tried to download and said that it was not available.
2. How have you tried to download & where was she available (for example, when you ran a further manual verification of updates today)?
3. what 'net3.5 sp1' update you referring (e.g. KB951847)?

When you click on a hyperlink in an e-mail message, I get this Message: "this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator. "I get this message every time I try to use the hyperlink. I am the administrator on this computer. How can I disable this feature so that I have activate hyperlinks?
Hi Evon1,
1. What mail client do you use?
2. you remember to make changes to the computer, after which the issue started?
If you use Internet Explorer, then, I suggest to make Internet Explorer as the default browser and check if it helps:
Change the web browser by default
In addition, you can have a look on the link of the article following if you are using Microsoft Office Outlook:
You receive an error message when you click a hyperlink in Outlook
I hope this helps.

Whenever I try to open Avira Antivrus and Windows Defender, I get this message: "this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator. "I am the administrator and I have not set restrictions. It worked, but started recently and I can't find answers. All solutions?
Hi I_GHall
It seems that you receive the message you want to software conflicts. I suggest you try to disable either the Avira antivirus and windows defender and then check if the problem resolves.
If you disable any security software for troubleshooting temporarily, so don't forget to activate after troubleshooting is completed that your computer will be at risk.

Application cannot be installed because of a certificate or a damaged installation problem.
I downloaded here (http://www.adobe.com/go/muse_latest_mac) since the CC App Manager (for Muse) is does not work either.
I also tried my old version of Muse. I saw the possibility of downloading a new that I did. This time he says the installer is corrupted.
I uninstalled the old application and attempted a re - install by using the link above. Installer damaged message followed.
Looks like that I don't do much with it for awhile. I'll come back later...
Please see the following article on the job through this error message - http://helpx.adobe.com/muse/kb/installer-file-damaged.html.
