• Several simple edition Folios?

  I'm evaluating the publication of a magazine of small distribution on a quarterly basis. Since we are on a limited budget, I think of having bought the 'simple' edition whenever we publish. Is this possible? If so, I guess it would lead in several "apps" on the newsstands of iOS 5... I wonder if Apple will approve several apps "magazines" with the same name of magazien, just different editions?

  That is right. Unique Edition allows you to create an application one question. A newsstand app must be a subscription questions app. I don't think apple has plans to allow one question kiosk apps.

  You can create Apps integrated with DPS simple editing. Cannot create problem multi apps using DPS SE or DPS CC.

  To create Multi question applications, you need go to the DPS Professional Edition or Enterprise Edition.

• Simple editing - how long for approval to Apple App Store? Content Viewer is an Option?

  I'm kind of a difficult situation. We have a client who has just told us that they would like to make an application, we have created for them available to participants of a conference, somewhere from 100 to 300 people. The app, we have created for them was just done and put in Content Viewer, as it was just for a client and an iPad.

  Now, we would like to make public for 100 to 300 people, so let's buy simple editing. But we have this upward and available for purchase in the app store in 10 days. I know it varies from one case to another, but no one thinks there is a chance that the Apple App store might approve early enough, say if we transferred Monday and required to be available on Friday?

  If this isn't the case someone ' a has any ideas for pension plans? Some questions I have: an app, how Adobe ID can be shared with? Like, it would be possible to share the folio with an Adobe ID and give this connection to people at the Conference who want to see the app, and then they connect to Adobe Content Viewer, connect and download if they want to. Seems fragile, at best, but it is worth as a backup plan?

  I had an application to simple editing approved over the weekend. 10 days exactly.

  That said, you have no guarantee that it will be in 10 days or who

  It will even be approved.

  I'm not aware of any limit on the number of people can connect with the same ID.

  Yes you can add ads to the same Folio.

  I find contradictory information. On the comparison table , it shows that you can get an OVERVIEW of your application on multiple devices. Can I launch an application on iPhone, Android and iPad?

  I currently have all of the necessary requirements for my App, license certificates Apple Dev, and everything is set up with iTunes Connect. Can / be the "roll-over" in this information applied if I cancel my professional edition and upgrade to the unique edition of CC?

  With a creative cloud account, you can now create as many applications as you want, but these are individual applicationseven edition. See the link I posted above for more details on this.

  Your developer account iTunes and certificates are completely independent of the DPS. You can use the same account and developer certificates to create some simple editing as a client of creative cloud applications.

• How can I get my iPad simple editing articles in my android app?

  I'm struggling Sunrise an android version of my player and running application.

  I have an iPad (1024 x 768) app that works well.

  It is released as a simple editing with my creative cloud account application.

  Now, I wanted to release an Android version.

  That's what I did:

  -J' tried my iPad app with the viewer content android on my device (nexus 7): it scaled down, but it was OK

  -J' bought a professional edition.

  -J' have created a container of app edition multi with the DPS App Builder

  -The DPS App Builder did not accept my Adobe ID, but need an application ID that I created.

  -J' created the apk file and copied on my device (Nexus 7)

  -J' open the application on the device - it was empty.

  -J' shared the folio of my iPad app of my main adobe for the new application ID, ID and then I copied with my application ID in the organizer of folio for a new folio producer and transferred a few items again. But the application on the device remained empty.

  -J' made a whole new folio and imported a new article. But

  My android app remained empty

  What should I do to see folios in my android app?

  Looks like you need to publish the folio as Public. Only public published leaflets appear in a custom Viewer application.

• Possible to have dynamic content in a simple editing application?

  Here's the scoop. I'm designing a program for a local play. I'm doing the program in inDesign because inDesign is impressive.

  Equally impressive is the DPS: simple editing.

  However, I would like to have more dynamic features in version DPS that change fairly regularly:

  Twitter stream

  Other information from a stream
  Another thing I can think to do more than one application than a digital copy of the program. I can simply make a PDF version for a static download. But I want something to make attractive download... (open to ideas as to this kind of thing is possible)

  I guess another issue would need to be downloaded on the app store or can it be supplied to users directly by downloading from a Web site?

  Use the overlay of web content for anything like that, but... and this is one

  great but... the description for this sounds like something Apple will reject.

  The only way to bypass the app store is a DPS and Apple

  developer account which is a very expensive proposition.

  If it's a very limited audience, with that you could get by sharing the folio

  the Adobe Content Viewer.

  We have an application multi-probleme with iTunes subscriptions (retail) in kiosks. We currently publish monthly issues within our application.

  Recently, we also published a special issue in using this application to several subscription questions so that existing subscribers would see this special issue in detail Viewer. What we like.

  Now, we would like to publish this special issue as a simple editing application so that the new and future users "see" it inside the App Store.

  Can users download these two identical applications, which means that they can buy this twice? Is there a way to prevent this 'double purchase"DPS or App Builder or through iTunes Connect?

  If I understand correctly, each application is relatively independent law. In other words, does not allow a purchase in one application to determine the right inside the other. Still, we're talking about two different types of purchase iTunes:-app against app.

  You may register for the full version of creative cloud allowing you to build a simple editing application until the support be removed from Creative Cloud may 1. You create a new application in InDesign using the menu item Create App in Panel Builder Folio. After creating the app and submit then you may cancel your subscription to creative cloud.

  Note that you must get support to help you define the version number of your new application high enough to replace your existing application in iTunes. If you intend to use the CC track let me know and I can help by making sure that the version number is updated on your application properly.

  I currently have an multi-folio application that I would come down to a single application of folio. We have cancelled our Professional Edition (2 days) and are now part of the CC. I just want to transfer what we currently have in a single folio. What are the steps I need to take to do this?

  Make sure all your items are in a folio. Create a simple editing application using the same mobileprovision files used to build the previous application (if they have expired, re-create them for the same ID App). The application of simple editing as a new version of the existing application.

• Update of an existing application of DPS via simple edition

  Well, so I already have a live application on the app store that I published a few months using the DPS simple editing platform.

  I would now like to update/upgrade this application on the apple store with a new folio.

  Recently, I've upgraded to a new iMac and made sure to copy all documents on my hard drive which included all certificates, so that I can use them again for an update.

  I found a good tutorial Digital Publishing Suite help | Folios of publication for the Distribution Service to update my application but have you encountered a problem.

  The problem I am facing now, is that when I connect to the DPS App Builder platform and try and change the current application, I get this error message...

  I don't understand what that means in fact that I copied all the files from my old computer with respect to the first app on my other...

  You cannot change the existing application on a different machine than appeared on. You will need to go to the Folio Builder Panel in InDesign, select your folio and App create in the drop-down menu to create a new app use all the same settings that your old and you can download it on iTunes to replace your existing application.

  I am user CS6, so I have not bought the CC, I bought the only DPS edition, and I created my .folio using woodwing.  I created my first app using DPS APP builder, but now I want to create a new application I can´t use the same serial number.  DPS unique Edition description says I can build many apps to download from the appstore. Why I can't use the same serial number?  What should I do to use my serial number?

  With a DPS simple edition license, you can build a single app for the iPad. Serial number works only once.

  With a full subscription to creative cloud, you can create any number of simple editing of the applications for the iPad.

• Can I publish the first issue of a magazine using simple editing DPS?

They are eager to launch the first one before Christmas, but the $600 p/m price tag is a small deterrent. So I have proposed the creation of the first edition with simple editing DPS (intending to migrate in the newsstand with future editions of next year). Have I reason to take this path? Apple will not accept a mag style app outside booth? I read Bob Levine's recent article on how to improve your chances of being accepted that I'll go with, but we need to avoid using the word store in masthead for this first? So many questions.   You can try, but the review process for a simple editing application is much more

  rigorous in the measure of the content to a folio multi application.

  Conversion of a multi folio kiosk application... would probably be easier to

  accomplish simply by creating a new application.

  Single edition apps are under surveillance much more than folio multi applications. They

  you need to be very interactive and attractive. Here's one I just did what was
