  Hi Valentttine,

  Usually with the Adobe software, you can have several versions on the same machine without problem - if the prior release is maintaining your choice.

  And if you install an upgraded version on a different machine from the previous version, you must enter the serial number of the old product when you install the new software, is everything.

  Yes.

  You can use the same SID, but this is not recommended (as long as you can use a different port pool). The best practice is to have a different name to SID and the pool of different port, so it will not come into conflict with the existing instance. Also, make sure you have enough resources on those servers (cloning off-production to the same machine, where the production is running is not a good practice).

• I can easily put 11g R1 & 11 G R2 on the same machine?

  I have a Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit with DB Oracle 11 g Release 1 (11.1.0.7) installed and I also OBIEE 11 g 11.1.1.5 installed which I accessed successfully. It is a scenario unique machine. I have 8 GB of RAM and 115 GB left on my 500 GB hard drive
  
  I am to discover that, in order to get all the features of OBIEE 11.1.1.5, I need to install DB Oracle 11 G Release 2 (11.2.0.1). The upgrade is not an option for me however. The problem is it took a lot of effort and problem solving to get my current configuration in place and I don't want to not uninstall and then not be able to get the new configuration to work.

  Also, if one of the sites requires anonymous access for all the content and it's not going to change in the foreseeable future, just don't install/activate webgate on that.

• Cannot access site of firefox or google chrome on linux but can virtual XP on the same machine

  Run firefox 3.6.24 under Fedora core 14 64-bit. Could not load certain pages of the website with firefox or google chrome schoolfusion. I do not found Server error. On the same machine a virtual XP with IE or chrome can access the site. I checked the release of wireshark and the query is DNS as well as a good answer to the query or the dns returns the correct ip address. So I don't understand why the server error. On the same website, a link that works starts with 2 identical DNS queries, both get identical answers. There are a few settings network under linux only?

  It is "fixed" now, it turns out that the problem was that URLS that wouldn't have. It's a dash followed by a period.

  What I still don't understand, is why the error message was not clear. He said that he could not find the server but it reported the entire string, including the... On the server exchange and Member roll and functionality cannot be opened and displays the error message. (Exception from HRESULT: 0 x 80070490)

  Yes you can reinstall Windows Vista by using the Windows Vista Upgrade activation disk works perfectly. Make sure you have your 25-digit product key.

  Also, make sure that you have installed once are not dual boot.
