  the SGA_MAX_SZE parameter is not dynamic in oracle 10g.

  To increase the size of the sga for your instance or down,
  1. make the entry in the pfile as sga_max_size = value. (usually pfile reside in "ORACLE_HOME\database") *.
  2 judgment of the DB
  3. start the PB with the file pfile as "SQL > STARTUP PFILE = 'path of the pfile edited'"
  4. your DB now works on pfile, to make the changes to spfile "SQL > CREATE SPFILE = 'path of the spfile' OF PFILE".

  6. launch of the DB with the newly created spfile "SQL > STARTUP SPFILE = 'path of the spfile'"

  Let's say that I updated SGA_TARGET and SGA_MAX_SIZE 1024Mo 512 MB.
  
  As I understand it, this means that the total size of the SGA will never exceed 1024Mo (it's the "hard cap"). Oracle will try to keep things around 512 MB, but can explode up to 1024 MB, depending on the needs.
  
  Is this correct? Otherwise, I don't see the point of SGA_MAX_SIZE SGA_TARGET vs.
  
  BTW... I know that MEMORY_TARGET and MEMORY_MAX_TARGET are the new 11g params, but Oracle XE comes with those turned off and the 10g SGA_ * params and PGA_AGGREGATE_TARGET updated...?

  It is not correct.

  This means that you can increase up to SGA_MAX_SIZE SGA_TARGET without having to bounce the database.
  Also Oracle won't increase SGA_TARGET, it will just make sure that the sizes of the different basins do not exceed SGA_TARGET.
  You are still responsible for the management of SGA_TARGET.

  If you increase the physical memory, and then set the SGA_MAX_SIZE max size estimated, based on the use of applications and keep the SGA_TARGET to any value you currently have.

  Don't sweat it that we have all been there! Here's how you set the background color of your application. Where there are two ways:

  First define the metadata to a background color like this:

  Retail vo was create with Potsdam too. You can use what you can do to master VO. link the button to detail to a bean and calculated method to set the parameters before running the createWithParam.

  Let me first tell you that our code is activity masking errors (the cache instead of working on them).

  This means that you do not check the errors at all. You must at least print a log with the error message, you receive, if you get one!

  To solve your problem, you override the method prepareForDML() of the entity or entities in question. You can calculate and set the necessary attributes until they get engaged in the doDML(). Do not use doDML() because it is too late in the life cycle.

  I wonder if anyone knows how put share permissions on an object such as a Mac in my case instead of the windows user.

  One thing I can suggest is to share the hard drive of a Mac and make sure that the hard drive is formatted in HFS file system + and not NTFS. Windows does not recognize HFS +. In this way, Windows users will not be able to access the hard disk.

  Alternative methods may be available with Mac. Please contact Apple support in this regard.

  A few things to look at.

  First of all, if it is a new drive, you reformat to make sure it is formatted in HFS +?  Some external drives are preformatted with alternative formats of partition.  For example, if the drive is formatted in FAT I think not that he supports the ACL.

  Then, if the drive is formatted in HFS +, there is a chance that your player is set to ignore permissions.  Select the drive in the Finder and information.  Reveal the section sharing and permissions of the window read the information.  Check the status of the 'ignore property on the Volume' and make sure it is not checked.

  Also, I suggest that you do not share an entire drive.  Instead, create a folder on the root of the drive and then created folders within the folder.  The reason is that the root of the disc contains a number of hidden files that have specific uses.  For example.   Most of the parameters for methods of creating DAQmx channel is used to set properties on the newly created channels. You can also get or set the same properties yourself. The terminal configuration parameter in the method of creating channels voltage corresponds to the TerminalConfiguration property, so you should be able to do something like this:

  ORA-15032: not all changes made

  ORA-15063: ASM discovered an insufficient number of drives for diskgroup "DATA".

  It seems the permission of disks have changed after the reboot. I guess the spfile is inside the DATA diskgroup because it can not even start ASM. When I create a file with values asm_diskgroup and asm_diskstring pfile and 777 on the drive, I managed to start the ASM.

  * .asm_diskstring = "/ dev / *'"

  Remember that the permissions of the device must be configured so that the owner of the Oracle database or the process has full access to the appropriate device files. It is not enough to only give ASM full authorization for devices files. ASM provides management for volume, but the database has direct access to device files and ASM does not interfere with inputs and outputs. You can set up groups and owner accordingly. If you have a different owner for ASM, you must assign appropriate groups to give full access ASM configuring oracleasm.
