  I found there are multiple entries for the same hostname like this:

  After removing that 127.0.0.1 line, Vooola! everything works now!

  I have problem during the installation of XE on Windows 2003 R2 SP 2 Enterprise edition. I have uninstall oracle xe and still the same result. Finally, I uninstall the windows and start all over again, surprisingly the always the same result. FYI, we have normally no problem during installation because it is part of our system, we sell to our customers who require Oracle xe. It is the first time we have seen this issue.

  It's a shame I don't remember that one. The error message (and solution) was a similar here: {: identifier of the thread = 2322695}, with a real solution from here: {message identifier: = 10039007}
  (Just to keep an eye on this kind of mistake and to link the case...)

  I'm glad to hear that you solved the issue now, but I'm still a bit puzzled how this could happen. Possibly management of memory to the point 10.2 XE does not get what he expected on systems with Hyper-Threading or several used CPU sockets, maybe is the fact, it cannot apply/monitor limitations as expected. Still the error message is a bit misleading.
  It would be interesting to know if 11.2 XE gets along on this platform. Maybe you have time to give it a try someday? I would recommend to use 11.2 XE for a new installation anyway... ;)
  It is likely to work because no one reported an error like that with 11.2 XE and there are a few positions, mainly on licensing issues, which indicate 11.2 would also go on HT and dual socket machines, but it is possible that they still had something different on their machines.

  I checked the file listener. No trailing slash is there, I checked the SID. It has been set correctly. Home is also set correctly. TNSNAMES.ora file is correct. All values of apt. SQLNET.ora is checked. No problem with that.
  
  I erased the eventviewer (Yes one of the listed forums that eventviewer being full can also cause this error), I have enough disk space.
  
  Oracle service starts and the listener service starts without any problem. But if I try to connect I get this error.

  I tried running the command start nolog. It is said of database successfully mounted, still I'm not able to connexiona my instance. immediate stop does not work. He said TNS ADAPTER error or something.
  
  I once faced a similar problem and it was related to a DBF file being deleted and oracle was not able to find it. After the issuance of orders drop (alter drop offline database datafile 13 ;) I was able to start the database. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  Looking the alerts log, it seems that this data file "INFORM_01.DBF" is not available in 'E:\ORADATA\QA01 '. Come back with goodness and hopefully you're cold backup of the database or at least the application schema export dump.

  Hello, I'm writing because I'm having a problem with the use of shared variables. I am doing a project for College and I use the DSC for his shared variable function. The problem im having is that shared variables do connect it no more. I followed a document "Getting started with LabVIEW Datalogging and supervisory Control Module" and managed to build an IOServer and shared variables in accordance with the document to deploy successfully. It was a few days ago. Today when I opened the project file even shared variables would not connect. IM also having the same problem with other projects that I made over the weekend that worked, but do not work now.

  I am pleased to see that you are able to work with your LabVIEW installation now. 0x0000002A error message reported only in what concerns the communication between the shared variable engine and part mutual FUND of the DSC module is blocked.  This was usually resolved by inspecting the security settings Windows for the firewall, as discussed earlier.

  As for your second question, it might be better to start a new post.  However, please specify what files you want to move and what wisely win. Where would you like the directory that is to be held and for what benefits?  If you are hoping to achieve a gain of performance or similar, there may be different approaches other than moving files.

  Can someone tell the attached page, why my single variable sharing does not work with the LabVIEW application that I'm running on my PC. I put the variable 48 (I thought), and again in la OR Distributed System Manager, the value is not changed.

  Reset that my PC seems to have understood things works better. The VI is now able to read/write the shared variable.

  The VMWare Tools included with fusion 7.0.1 solved this problem for me (and without any serious regressions I noticed so far, at least, which is nice but not something I intend on with vmware), so probably the next update of each VMware product should include the updated tools.  Don't know how long updates to other products are coming, however.  Wonder if there is a separate place to get just the tools to day?

• How to check that the variable 'does not contain' value?

  We want to use the widget text box for a custom quiz and verify a response. While we understood how to check the existence of certain key words, we are not able to find a way to check that the content does NOT contain certain keywords. For example, we want to ensure that the text entered in this widget does not contain a "Transformation" and "Non-compliant.

  Is this possible at all?

  Anthony, it works perfectly. Created this conditional action with 4 decisions. I used the interaction of training text scrolling in CP8 (because now you can control the variable - which means I might have a Reset button):

  I put the variable words (v_first... v_fifth), it's a reflex I use since I shared actions that much. The variable associated to the ETB (you can now reset an empty var in CP8) is v_TextArea and the Boolean value that will decide if positive feedback (StarOK) should be shown is v_TA_OK. If you want to display a negative feedback, put this in the ELSE part of the final decision.

  FYI: it took 15 minutes, including the creation of assets and the variables and tests. Personally I would have needed more time to do it in JS, but that's just me.

• Sharing folders works does not in 3.0

  I upgraded to 2.0.6 to 3.0 without any apparent problem (OS X 10.5.8, MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.33 GHZ, 3 GB RAM, XP Pro SP3) image of Parallels.

  However, when I try to access my shared folders in my network places, I get the message ".
  . Host/shared files is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. The system cannot find the specified file. »

  As suggested in another thread, I tried to uninstall and then install VMWare Tools, with the accompaniment of restarting the virtual machine and OS X, but nothing helped. I also tried to add a new shared folder in the Virtual Machine & gt; Settings & gt; Sharing and have checked to make sure that I am connected to XP as an administrator (as in OS X).

  If the Explorer window opens the shared folder and your Mac files are here, so folders are working properly.  Is this not your topic (shared folders does not)?

  If you want to fix your Favorites shared folders network icon, click the old .host icon and delete it, then click on the link 'Add network place' under the networking and follow the wizard to replace your place to network for shared folders.  Copy the address in the Windows Explorer window and paste it into the section "address network or the Internet.  This will complete replacing the old obsolete icon by the new.

• Post photo or video from the album shared and it does not appear

  Lately I've known something very strange.  Very rarely, I go through the steps to post a photo or a video on an album shared my Photos on my iPhone, but after finishing when I type then "Shared" downstairs to check the album, the photo is not here.  It does not appear in the shared himself album, or activity.  It just is not there.  It happened several times. Basically, I am able to post fine, but this happens sometimes, apparently with nothing else.  WiFi is fine.

  Any thoughts?  It seems that there is so much it's always bugged on shared albums.

  What is happening with Albums that you share or shared Albums from someone else? It happens in the same album, or different? Y at - it albums that you try to add photos or videos of exceeding limits of sharing:

• Home Menu Variable does not turn off

  On start-up the first today, I found that when you look at the screen in the application library, the host Variable menu is also visible... and won't turn off not... even if I restart the calculator.

  I can it turn on and off in the reception area, but not in the library App box... see screenshot attached for example approximate (I can't reproduce on the screen of virtual calculator to get an exact screenshot)

  Suggestions to turn this feature off...? As it does not block the icons of the touch screen on the left side, etc. ?

  Don't think of a paper clip reset as a "last resort."  It does not clear the memory, or delete your programs, or something drastic like that.  He simply makes a soft "warmstart" (also known as a "reboot") which is the first in his normal state of operation.  This is useful not only what premium starts acting wonky (due to corruption of the memory of a static spark, or a bug or simply no chance), but you can use it even when you put the appliance in a State that you do not know how to get out, and you do not have the time to search the user's Guide.  Just search the Reset hole (he should have called it Reboot, do not reset to zero) and you'll be back in business.

  WARNING: A paperclip reset CAN erase the memory (and delete all your stored data) if it detects that the memory is so damaged that it must be emptied to restart.  So if your premium starts acting psychotic, use the connectivity Kit to back up your programs and your variables before poking the hole... just Reset in case it clears the memory.

• Sharing of password does not

  THIS IS A REPOST...
  I have two computers at home, ZM001 and ZM002.  I recently had to reinstall the operating system (Windows 7 Professional, 64-bit) on ZM002.

  I still have my files and personal folders on ZM002 targeted to the personal folder on ZM001 through network location (e.g., \\ZM001\sharename) and then make available offline so that all files/folders are continuously on both computers.

  Search on ZM001 sharing for only me.

  Before you reinstall Windows on ZM002, as long as I used the same username and password on two computers, I could access these files/folders with no problems.  But there seems to be something I am missing now that translates Windows alert me that I don't have permission to access these files and folders.

  I did so that both computers are associated with the same work group, but am unsure of what the other missing link (s) I'm not recognize.

  How overcome this error access denied and go back to the way I was already using my local network?

  After taking a break from that for a good part of the day, I think I understand the question.  After narrowing through the back / comes to ZM002, I thought that if it may have been something I did or did not.

  It seems that my problem was to have set up and joined a "homegroup".  If I read correctly in, it turns out that by joining a "homegroup", the process of sharing check not only your username and password, but also the computer your username is associated with.  By comparison, when there is no homegroup in-between, the system does not seem to find the computer on which your username belongs.

  Thanks for the help/ideas that you could provide.
