Should I get rid of versions of Visual C++?

I was recently looking through the Uninstall list on my new laptop to get rid of some unwanted waste when I noticed several labeled Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable files.  It does not however of any location of these files anywhere, and I can't seem to find them.  Two are marked with x 64 and x 86 and are 12 and 13 MB in size.  How can I find this program? I know that it is used in software development and I'm rather curious as to why it is seems to be 'hidden' in my computer...

Bring the matter to the author of the plugin. The author has the source code and can debug to see what is happening inside the plugin.
