Should I have the administrator account to run the batch file?

When I log in as administrator, I run after the file of commands without any problem, but

When I login as a user, I can't run after the batch file, the changeover of the authority.

I would like to know if I need to log in as an administrator to run this batch file or not,

Can I use different accounts group? and always perform this task.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions :>

Hello

To respond to your request, you must enter the administrator password to access this command file.
Instructions for Windows 7
In order to run as administrator, create a shortcut to the batch file.
1. right click on the batch file, then click on copy
2. navigate to the location where you the shortcut
3. right click on the background of the directory
4. select Paste shortcut

Then, you can set the shortcut to run as Administrator:
1. right click on the shortcut
2. Select Properties
3. in the shortcut tab, click Advanced
4. check the box "Run as Administrator"
5. click on OK, OK
Now when you double-click the shortcut it will ask for confirmation UAC and then run as an administrator (which as I said above is different than running under an account in the administrator group)

I hope this helps.

  • I want my procedure to return the error message in the batch file

    Hi team,

I have a requirement from users of the company. Could you please provide your suggetsion to achieve this.

We have a batch file that is short on time, in this batch file, I'll call you a SQL script.

In the SQL script, I called you a procedure to run.

Inside the procedure, I have the following statement,

    Select, insert and update commands.

and I use ANOTHER exception to handle errors.

My requirement is to pass the error messages for the batch file when one of the orders was not not run and send a notification e-mail to the group with the error text.

    Please provide your suggestion.

    Thank you and best regards,

    Robette.

Could you please tell me, inside the procedure I have to remove the OTHER exception and how I can pass the value to the command file and where I add the content of the e-mail notification.

I suggest that you write modular code instead.

    1. create a log table

2 modify the procedure to log on to the error log table or exceptions

    3. that others suggest have the recovery/return procedure an exception in the client/batch file

    4. for an exception have the batch file to call a procedure to do the emailing if there were exceptions

IMHO, it's a MISTAKE to try to put all these features in a single file. It is NOT scalable and makes it almost impossible to update the batch file if the requirements change in the future.

Logging should be a separate process with a separate log table so that you can capture ALL of the information that may be necessary, now or in the future. Enter information in a table of newspaper, it is EASY for ANYONE to query to see what problems are occurring in the process.

Emailing should be a separate process so that it can be used for your batch file current, files of future orders or even by procedures or functions in the database.

Do not try to create a solution "a script does everything."

  • Impossible to pass to 8.1 and I was told that I had to have an administrator account.

I have Windows 8 and tried to upgrade to 8.1 Windows.  Went to the Windows store, asked the upgrade, I was told that I had to have an administrator account.  Went to my computer, got the status of administrator, returned to the store, got turned down.  Went on the Web for tutorials to anyone, but Microsoft, discovered that I really need a Microsoft account, driven around a few others and found a place to create a.  Account login Windows told me I have a code word left by an outdated version of Windows, and no, I couldn't set a new account - they wanted that one.  However - Sun through clouds - they would send me a code if I typed my email once again.  AHA.  IE far typed, closed (which had no menus or a new tab menu item), it opened and got my email from the Microsoft Team with my number of code in it!

Copied the code through the Windows logon account taradiddle again, entered the Security Code of the woohoo Microsoft team.  Did not work.  Waited a week for the bad brujo die down and crept through the routine once again.  This time the magic worked, and Microsoft then informed me that I had to go to another step to add another layer of security.

I - Yes, I should have known it was wrong - and discovered that the new secret layer of security involved choose from three options, of which none apply to me--with, unfortunately, no provision for backup of the entire House of cards before she collapsed on me.  Came to this site, tried to ask questions about my problem and been redirected to something unimportant.  Tried again, asking the stupid question in the title above, got a popup trying to direct me to another irrelevant character.  Ignored and typed this out.

Now that I finally got through, two questions:

    1. Apart from buying a new computer, how do Windows 8.1?

2 we wouldn't be better to go back to Vista?

Original title: when you ask a question, why doesn't this site redirect you to a message rather than allow you to display the question irrelevant?

  • I don't have an administrator account, but keeps askig me a password

Pease, can someone help me. My laptop keeps asking for a password, but I don't have an administrator account. How can I get around this?

    Hello

    1. are you on a domain?

    2. have you already created an administrator account on the computer before?

    3. you are the only user of the computer?

    4. you have the disc of the operating system with you?

Unfortunately, if you try to perform any administrative actions on the computer asks the administrator password.

As a work around you, try the following steps:

If you have an installation of Vista DVD (not a recovery DVDs), you can start the system with it. Select the default language, then select "repair your computer". Then select "Command Prompt". At the command prompt, type:

NET user administrator / Active: Yes

Remove the DVD and restart. You will now see an icon for administrator on the Welcome screen. To connect to it.

After logging in using the built-in administrator create a new administrator account and use it for later use.

Normally, flashdrivers are plug-and-play. no need to install any additional drivers or software

Connect a different flash for the same pc driver and check if it works? If it works and as your first one does not work, connect the first condition in another pc audit... If it still not detected that you may need to contact the seller

I, stupid, changed the program by default to a BAT file to the cmd prompt, well, now I can't run the batch files now, please help!

    Hi William,.

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

Batch file is a type of script file, a text file, containing a series of commands to be executed by the command prompt. When you run a batch file, it opens the command prompt to run the scripts.

It would be great if you can answer the following questions:

    1. what happens when you try to run a batch file?

2 are. what batch file you referring?

    3. the problem occurs for a particular batch file?

First of all, I suggest you to check the commands written in a batch file. To do the same thing, just right-click on the batch file, and then click change. It will open Notepad with the list of orders scripted for this particular batch file.

If you have additional questions on the computer, please ask your question about Windows and we will be happy to help you.

    Hello

Download the BIOS.exe file from here: http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp55001-55500/sp55430.exe

Then rename it to sp55430.zip or simply extract the exe using WinRAR. The binary file is called: 01439.fd. Rename it to 01439.bin if you need...

  • Automatic execution of the batch file at the connection of the USB drive

I created a batch file that checks the drive e. the presence of a specific file, and if there, copy it to a location on the hard drive. (Drive E is where all USB drives see the place through my window of Windows Explorer.) I would like to set up my computer so that this batch file is executed whenever such a device is plugged into the USB port. How can I accomplish that?

Otherwise, is it possible to incorporate the Attaché-USB-player status in the batch file itself and just leave that batch file running at any time? I used "IF EXISTS E:\*.*", but that is not do me much good, because I have to keep control of this condition again and again, and eventually the batch file gets tired of the audit and said that the drive does not exist.
