Should I include the Javascripts in a new website?

I keep reading the articles in computer magazines that JavaScript involving several should not be used. It is not secure; not all browsers can display the pages containing it is phased out; etc.

I was looking for something to use in a new web site, that I am considering, and recently graduated in programming of web sites to the class 2 (infants), I tend to buy or get useful features, which many are written in Javascript.

This means that the web site resulting will come crashing into a not-so-distant future?

I have perhaps also confusing Javascript and Flash.

Many of us have never used Flash and Yes, do not use it. JavaScript, on the other hand, is frequently used by many web developers of quality.

JavaScript has some security flaws, but this isn't a problem if you allow Javascript jobs for that is good and leave some tasks, as a form of treatment, to PHP.

  • Should we include the NIC do not use during P2V?

    There are 2 NIC cards in a physical machine, but only one is used.

    During P2V, should we include both of them and remove one not in use on a virtual machine?  It is because we can choose the bad NIC card if we just choose a NIC card during the P2V process.

    Your opinion is requested.

    Hello

    When you perform a P2V conversion, try to remove all the devices that you do not use from the server.  This is also your chance to allocate hardware resources such as CPU or memory more or less, or adjust the allocated disk space.

    When the conversion is completed, you will need to reconfigure the network settings, so it is not really important which NIC you remove server.

    Best wishes / Saludos

  • Should I charge the battery on my NEW phone, or drain before charging them.

    I just got the new Motorola DROID. I use my phone a lot, so I want to make sure I have keep the longest possible battery life. The employee who helped me to the Verison store told me not to worry charing the phone immediately, and it's only something that needed to be done with the old phone batteries. In the box with my Droid came instructions that said to charge the battery for a full 12 hours to ensure the smooth operation and maximum battery life. Which is correct?

    Load completely before use.  12 hours is not fair.  Load until the light goes out.  Air conditioning is not necessary on these batteries.  And, if possible, they should not be drained completely between charges.  There are several good sites FAQ for battery litium on internet.

  • "Access-Control-Allow-Origin" when you include the Javascript file in the Portlet

    I'm having this problem

    I have a few lines in my JSP to load JQuery portlets /Search/ folder

    < c:set var = "req" value = "${pageContext.request}" / > "

    "{< c:set var = 'baseURL' value="${req.scheme}://${req.serverName}:${req.serverPort}${req.contextPath} "/ >

    "< script type =" text/javascript"src="${baseURL}/Search/jquery-1.10.2.min.js "> var baseURL =" ${baseURL} "; < /script >

    However, I get the following error

    1. OPTIONS http://fswcs-21:8889 /WorkflowPortlets/Search/jquery-1.10.2.min.js 200 (OK) core - 11.1.1.7.0 - 3009.js:25

    Is there a way to fix this? I tried the setting:

  • Including a javascript using the javascript file

    Come play with particular models of javascript in my CF code when I stumbled on this issue.

    I have two files with that I'm testing.  The javascript file that I want to include is called KDL.js.  The contents are listed here:

    <script language="javascript">
      function KDL_Test(MyString) {
      var MsgString = MyString + "KDL Rocks";
      alert(MsgString);
      }
    </script>

    The other model is called KDL.cfm, and it's content:

    <CFINCLUDE TEMPLATE="kdl.js">

    <script language="javascript">
      KDL_Test("I am here. ");
    </script>

    It works fine I get my alert window whenever I run the code.

    What I don't understand is why the javascript alert window is not get called when I use javascript to include the javascript model?

    <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript" src="kdl.js"></script>

    <script language="javascript">
      KDL_Test("I am here. ");
    </script>

    This code generates error messages, but I don't get the popup either as I did with the first include.  Thoughts?

    language = "JavaScript" has been deprecated for years and should not be used.  It has been replaced by type = "text/javascrpt", you already have.  And as long as the .js file in the same folder as the .cfm file, it should work.

    I have never seen anyone CFINCLUDE a .js file, before, so I'm puzzled.  It shouldn't really work, because how JavaScript is a language on the client, and CF is a server side.  But, if it works, I can't argue (although my brain rush to the idea of working).

    Another thing: any content JavaScript code in a .js file must not tags.  It is assumed script since it is inside a file with a .js extension.

    Load the .cfm file in a browser with the developer (F12) tools.  If you use FireFox with the FireBug plugin, you should see a great deal of information as to why it does not work.

  • Should I clean the sensor before mounting the new lens?

    Hello guys! Sorry for stupid question, but I'm not sure I know the correct answer. One of the devices that I use is Canon 5 d classic, and there a lot of dust on the sensor and the viewfinder (not unusual for 5di). I just got a new goal, and I wonder if there is a possibility for the dust on the sensor/viewfinder to get inside the lens while filming? Or I have to clean the viewfinder/sensor before mounting? Or just forget to dust as will evertually get inside the lens of dust? Thank you! I appreciate your answers!

    Good advice so far...

    1. you don't have to worry about the use of your lens on the camera. The goal is pretty well sealed against dust, so all the dust that's in the mirror in the camera box is unlikely to migrate into the lens (it is more likely to migrate on the sensor, but even what is low risk). There is no such thing as completely dust free a lens, anyway. A few grains of dust inside a lens have virtually no effect on the images.

    2. you probably should take advantage of your membership CPS to have the camera, cleaned and checked.

    But you can also learn how to clean yourself. Some call it the classic 5 d a magnet 'dust '... Just, I think he's got a big sensor dust get on and does not have a self-cleaning feature because is on later models. It's going to get dusty again, you can bet. So at least you might want to get a blower bulb ("Rocket Blower" is a brand) and learn to use it.

    You probably already know, seen in the viewfinder of the dust is usually harmless. It is usually on the mirror or on the focus screen and will not be displayed in the images taken with the camera (unless she manages to migrate on the sensor itself, which is hidden and protected behind the shutter with the exception of the brief moment when an image is rendered).

    If the dust seen in the viewfinder appears sharp and in short, it is on the focus screen. If it is fuzzy and blurry, it's on the mirror. Unless you know how and have the right tools for the job, it is not a good idea to give the focus screen and nothing more aggressive than a breath of air from a blower bulb mirror. These can be cleaned more thoroughly, but both are very easily damaged: the screen is optical plastic and can be ruined by using the right type of gasoline on it. The mirror is before coating aluminium vaporized, so is very easily damaged. Aside from an occasional breath of air from a blower bulb, I recommend to leave the mirror screen and concentrate only until you have done a professional cleaning.

    A more serious problem to monitor does not light seals. There are seals foam around the edge of the focus screen, which builds the mirror upward against when it is triggered, to keep stray light out of the box mirror during exposure. Over time, these seals foam begins to degrade and may throw particles or even coat of glue holding them in place on the mirror screen and focus. In general, clean up the damage, remove the old and install new foam gaskets are a little tricky, so I recommend that you have any replacement of the foam seal done by a professional. (Also, there are foam seals similar elsewhere inside the camera that are likely to need replacement too, if the joints in the mirror box go wrong. A pro will know what is needed and have the skills to work deeper inside the camera.)

    Time does not always have to send a camera in for a simple cleaning of the sensor, so it's something that you can learn to do it yourself. There are two sites that discuss good detail: www.cleaningdigitalcameras.com and www.copperhillimages.com. The first is maintained by independent, professional camera repairmen who also are providers of the repair industry and sell most of the specialized tools and supplies needed for the cleaning of the sensor. The second part of the merchant site one of special cleaning procedures ("Copper Hill Method"). Both sites have good information. Read them carefully before performing any cleaning yourself.

    If you decide to learn how to clean the sensor yourself, some things you need to know...

    Never use a q-tip common (i.e., "Q-Tip") inside a camera. They throw cotton fibers that can enter and jam of delicate mechanisms.

    Check the manufacturer's website you plan any liquid sensor cleaning aid is formulated and approved for your particular camera.

    No matter what digital camera that has never had the sensor cleaned almost always need a "wet" cleaning first. This is because there is almost always oils on the sensor (actually in most of the cameras the surface to be cleaned is a filter which covers and protects the sensor). These oils are excess thrown out of the shutter mechanism. Any method of "dry cleaning" that touches the sensor will coat oils and make things worse. If a "wet cleaning" is always advocated, first time around.

    It is important to have some the aircraft batteries fully charged before cleaning and work quickly, so that to be able to hold the mirror up and the door is open doesn't work low allowing the shutter to close and the mirror to fall on a tool used for cleaning. Professional cleaners often use a continuous supply instead of a battery, to be sure.

    It is convenient to have a magnifying glass Magnifier and light any for easy cleaning. When you view the sensor at the front, don't forget that the image is upside down and reversed. Thus, for example, if you have seen a job in the corner upper lefhand of your images, when you view the sensor directly you will find straw incriminated in the lower right corner.

    You usually have a variety of tools to do a multi-step cleaning...

    "Fan bulb cleaning' to blow the free particle outside ("Rocket Blower").

    "Wet cleaning" with approved optical and fluid swabs from cleaning to remove oils and the particles more strongly respected ('Copper Hill method kit', 'Pecs Pads", 'Pécs swabs', 'Eclipse' solution) of sensor cleaning.

    'Adhesive cleaning' using a slightly sticky surface take off slightly adhered particles ('Dust Aid').

    'Cleaning antistatic brush' stubborn Claire, remaining slightly adhered particles and to reduce static electricity that attracts dust ("Arctic Butterfly").

    "Deleting individual speck" with a reusable precision tool ("Speck Grabber").

    "Final Polish" always is a last step to remove the haze left by gasoline ("by LensPen sensor pen"). It also helps to discourage the dust sticks to the surface again.

    I've included a few brand names of the products in parentheses as examples. There may be other equally effective products.

    Most of the time I find myself with several or even all of these when I do a cleaning of the sensor.

    See you soon!

  • I have reason to believe that my PE13 program is corrupted.  If I buy the new version 14.0, does include the full program and the new so it could heal any damaged I have?

    I have reason to believe that my program EP 13 is corrupt in some critical ways.  If I buy the upgrade version 14.0, does include the full program or just the news.  If it includes the full program, I expect to "heal" my corruptions when I download it.  I know you will ask me how my PE 13 program is corrupted.  I'm ready to respond.

    Bill North

    First 14 elements (whenever its output is complete at the global level) is a stand-alone product. It should contain the editor first items 14 and 14 elements Organizer and all the features Adobe wanted in it (new and old to 14). It should have nothing to do with the performance of the elements first 13/13.1. There is no guarantee that your favorite features of 13 will not have been deleted in 14.

    What are the first item 13/13.1 signs and symptoms pointing you to believe that the program is corrupted? What are some critical ways you are talking about? What operating system are you currently using?

    In the circumstances, consider the 14 tryout before purchase. Think of it as a troubleshooting tool

    a. If the 14 works and 13 does not work, then 13 has the problem

    b. If 14 and 13 do not work, then the computer is your target for troubleshooting.

    Looking forward for more details

    Convert to PDF from word, the fonts are not included, the word doc record embedded fonts, but conversion does not incorporate fonts?  What should I do to get the embedded fonts?

    I used times new roman in word 2013.  New file.  Apparently the version of adobe that I use will not incorporate.  I use the version line.  I was told that I have to upgrade to Adobe Pro.  I'm dealing with a patent application, so I can't share the document.  The patent office cannot accept that documents with embedded fonts.  My drawings that have been scanned and then converted are a problem too because I get an error based on the size of the page (23.6 "x 32.4") and I am unable to reduce this size in files from Adobe.com.

    Unfortunately I signed up for this product that get these two converted documents and uploaded only to discover that the conversions will not download.

  • The module page should include the date at which each add-on has been more recently updated to help diagnose problems.

    Sorry, this isn't a question, but a suggestion. If a conflict exists between the modules, it would be useful to know that it has been updated recently. I often keep track of myself, but it would be easier to have this information on the page Add on.

    "Last update" is available from the display of the modules for each module by clicking on the "More" link... "just below the name of the add-on. Scroll down on this new view of the page.
