show/hide a form of MEASURE

has anyone successfully uses a script show/hide of any kind in a form of MEASURE?

What I try to do is, I have Yes, and radio buttons.  If Yes is clicked, a text box appears in the line below.

If no is clicked, no change occurs.

I had one that worked, but now all of a sudden it no longer works.  What happens now when you get to the page, the text box that is supposed to be hidden, is visible.  However, when you click on no, it disappears, and if you click Yes, it reappears.

Here's the code.  I think there must be a conflict between the JavaScript below and uninstall.  Any help is appreciated!  Thank you!

< SCRIPT LANGUAGE = "JavaScript" >

function showhide1 (id, str)
{
If (document.getElementById)
{
obj = document.getElementById (id);
If (str == 'view') //obj.style.display = none
{
obj.style.Display = "";
}
ElseIf (str = 'none')
{
obj.style.display = 'none ';
}
}
}

< /script >

< tr > < td align = "right" > anyone in your group will require translation to the Open House? < table > < td > < input type = "radio" name = value "translation" = 'Yes' onClick = "showhide1 ('display', 'show'); ' > Yes < input type = "radio" name = value "translation" = "" checked onClick = "showhide1 ('display', 'none'); ' > no < table > < /tr >

< id tr = "View" > < td align = "right" > in what language? < table > < td > < font color = "red" > * < / police > < input type = "text" name = "language" > < table > < /tr >

One of the reasons for the question text box suddenly stopped working during the loading of the page can be replace the css rule that affects visibility. There should be a rule in your css like tr #display file {display: none;}. In addition, you must change your javascript code, obj.style.display = "" to obj.style.display = 'block '.

  • LiveCycle Form - box needs to show/hide images

    My box is called Ucheck.  The image is named UStamp.  I need the box to activate the visible image.

    I have read other responses to forum and found this example:

    showHide = event.target.isBoxChecked var (0)? display.visible:display.hidden;

    this.getField("Text036").display = showHide;

    However, when I have the script above in my form (changinging the (getField to "Ustamp") on LiveCycle, it gives me this answer)

    Script failed (language formcalc; context is)

    xfa form [0] [0]. U check [0]. #subform [0]. Ucheck [0]

    script = var showHide =

    event.target.isBoxChecked [0]? display.visible:display.hidden;

    this.getField("Ustamp").display = show - hide

    : Error syntax near token '? "on line 1, column 44.

    When I take the '? ', he said: he doesn't like something else on the script.

    I don't know ANYTHING about Javascript, so do not have the slightest idea how to debug this.  I don't program in Access, but know not true either VB.

    Thank you for your help...

    Do you have, you save the form as dynamic... in the dialog box save as file make sure you that you choose a dynamic PDF as type.

  • The use of password for show/hide forms - anyway to keep the setting "does not print?

    I have a George_Johnson script that allows me to enter a password to show/hide the fields selected (keys actually).  It works perfectly, but when I enter the password and buttons appear again, setting general/Common Properties amounts to 'visible' instead of ' visible but does not print ', and the buttons appear when I print the document.  I thought I could change these lines and print buttons...

    case 'password': / / your password goes here

    getField("x").readonly = readonly;

    getField("x").display = readonly? Display.Hidden: display.visible

    App.Alert ("level 1 support is now" + readonly_desc + "d", 3);

    break;

    .. .to change the 3rd line to read as follows: getField("x").display = readonly? display.hidden: display.visible but does not print  (or _but_doesn't_print;)

    but then I started to make syntax errors in the 4th line.  I don't know about Java, but I thought I might get lucky.  I get hot?  What is the "3" that needs to change?  Or is that I started quite wrong?

    Thanks for reading,

    Zac

    You can't guess correctly that the value can be and expect it to work... You should consult the documentation.

    In this case, what you're looking for is "display.noPrint".

  • Measures to honor the widget show/hide in new HR 2015 presentation of screen customization

    I was happy to see the widget show/hide in the HR 2015 Azure Blue layout. I guess she calls the expansion/collapse of the content on a DHTML page. However, I did not lead to it! What is the correct procedure?

    1. Change the theme (default)] in the layout of the blue Azure.
    2. Select one of the text box divs (this is probably the question. Where should the inserted widget?)
    3. Select ' show/hide the double State' in the widgets menu.
    4. Save the project and generate output Responsive HTML5. He failed.

    One of two things happens: either help system will not - launch loading graph is an infinite loop, or the system starts with a table of contents damaged. For example, the table of contents shows only the icons/no text content.

    Thanks in advance for any help!

    So that's how see you me Rick ;-)

    The expand/collapse I created originally ended with the RH11.0.3. updated. He is always on my backlog to create an update for this. Just didn't come around it. (I know, after more than 6 months).

    The best way is to a button or two buttons of the twisties/list script method drop-down. Add the script to the master page header and you'll have the expand/collapse in your topics. (Twisties and hide |) WvanWeelden.eu) I have the expand/collapse for the layout on the order book.

  • Show/hide fields based on T/F control - only showing or hiding, not both.

    Hi Forum,

    I'm looking to show/hide fields address based on a T/F control (or a single entry check box).

    My online form has a number of business address fields, a T/F control and a number of postal address fields. I want the mailing address fields to hidden when a user clicks on the box 'As Above' (and demonstrated once again if they click this box once more).

    I used the sample code (https://docs.oracle.com/cloud/latest/process_gs/CPRCW/GUID-F3BD3386-F333-45C6-AA56-C77136D169E5.htm) as a starting point for my Web form rule and it works as expected the first time that a user clicks area T/F (i.e. He's hiding the post fields) but it does not work the second time they until it clicks (where I assumed that fields would still be visible).

    The T/F box has the following options:

    true = as above

    false = No

    And my web rule looks like this:

    If (AsAbove.value = true) {}

    PostalAddress.visible = true;

    PostalState.visible = true;

    PostalPostCode.visible = true;

    } else {}

    PostalAddress.visible = false;

    PostalState.visible = false;

    PostalPostCode.visible = false;

    }

    I tried the same thing (with similar results) using a Checkbox control with a single option (according to the example code)

    If (PostalAddressCheckbox [0] .value == 'As Above') {}

    PostalAddress.visible = true;

    PostalState.visible = true;

    PostalPostCode.visible = true;

    } else {}

    PostalAddress.visible = false;

    PostalState.visible = false;

    PostalPostCode.visible = false;

    }

    As verified does not seem to be supported, is there another way to accomplish what I'm after, or I missed something somewhere simple (and y at - it documentation on the T/F control)?

    See you soon,.

    James.

    Hello

    Web Forms address these true-false as the boxes and, as such, in the form of tables.

    You can see if you try to print the TrueFalse value. You should get something like java object lang @XXXXXX

    Try to put the code as follows (in bold and underlined):

    If (AsAbove[0].value = true """""") {}

    PostalAddress.visible = true;

    PostalState.visible = true;

    PostalPostCode.visible = true;

    } else {}

    PostalAddress.visible = false;

    PostalState.visible = false;

    PostalPostCode.visible = false;

    }

    This should do the trick

    See you soon

  • How can I prevent Captivate to advance to the next slide, after the end of the audio and I click on click to show/hide sidebar box?

    I currently have a slide that plays audio.  While usage is listening to the narration that I can click on three different click the boxes with advanced actions to open and close text boxes, I want the user to read the value.  When reading narrative ends and I'll click on the boxes to click to read a text box, it moves to the next slide.  I understand that I may have to replace the box with smart buttons click but I don't know how to stop the progression to the next slide.  I already have a next button that is put on pause until the user clicks.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I'm on a tight schedule.

    Quickly, I created a sample file, just have a slide with three form buttons that act as the toggles and a next button. The first three buttons break late exactly at the same time and the next button.

    Since it's the slide by clicking the audio stops no audio at all (common misunderstanding). I created a shared action, with the purpose to display and the variable (mine are labeled v_one instead of v_visib) as parameters:

    StarOne is what you want to show/hide. You can click on infinite time on each key to show/hide this element. He won't interfere not audio, once he started playing he will continue. When the audio is finished, you can still continue to click. Just click on the next button will advance to the next slide. It's my calendar

    No need to rewind the playback head in this case at all.

  • can radio buttons show/hide the info in an interactive pdf?

    Hello. I have a question to which I have been faced with during some time... hoping someone can help.

    I create a document in InDesign CS6. It's basically a guide with a joint questionnaire.

    I have forward and back buttons work properly - so that they take you from one page to another.

    However, the more difficult question is I want to have interactivity with the use of radio buttons and eventually the check boxes. Thus, for example, on page 1, I have a question multiple choice where there are three choices. Clicking the wrong answer shows a block of text saying 'no it's wrong' and clicking on the appropriate radio button shows the words "Yes, correct."

    I have created three blocks of text and make it into a multi-state object.

    Three problems:

    1. option buttons seem to be the option for "the State" in the buttons and Forms dialog box
    2. even if that were the case - the State Road seems to be only swf, non-interactive pdf form - is there a way to change this?
    3. script assuming that there IS a way, everything can be put in place so that instead of using radio buttons I have use of check boxes that only give the correct answer if the correct check boxes are selected.

    I would stick to indesign to do this, however, I think that the option is perhaps more suited for this problem?

    Many thanks in advance,

    SunsV

    1 - make 3 images and convert it into boxes option...

    Text blocks 2 2-make (Yes, his right) (No, the wrong) and convert it to buttons - rename it (Righ, evil)

    3 - Click on each radio button and apply action: Show/Hide button and form and on the visibility to activate the globe eye for buttons wrong or right.

  • Buttons interactive show/hide

    I don't know either how to make buttons interactive show/hide each other in InDesign CS6/Windows 7,

    I've created a few interactive documents in CS4 and now I've upgraded to CS6, but I'm lost when it comes to edit these buttons in CS6. Everything seems to look the same in CS6, except when I choose ' show/hide buttons and forms' in the Actions area, the visibility box is empty. In the visibility area used to show me CS4, all the tous les autres other buttons in the document and their visibility properties. I don't see these in CS6. the area of visibility is still there, but it won't fill with buttons to manipulate me.

    How to manipulate the buttons show/hide visibility in CS6?

    I thought about it. If it helps anyone, I am happy:

    The excerpt that I had built was the set of buttons, text, and interactivity in a mooring in a text box (I can't finish with the text box). When I pull this snippet into a document, everything works fine, I can change the functionality my buttons etc. As soon as I anchor this box at a time given in my InDesign Cup document my access to the functionality of the button.

    To regain access, all I have to do is anchor of the code snippet, do my changes and then re - anchor.

    Voila. Buttons of an anchored the anchor object.

    Thank you all.

  • Password-protect and hide a form field

    Hello

    I was looking through old discussions in the forum looking for an answer to my question.  A code of George Johnson was really helpful, but there is a function more that I have to add to it and am struggling to figure out on my own.

    I created a PDF with form fields.  Different departments within the Organization will review this PDF and pass it back.  The Admin dept needs a text field called 'internal comments' that they can protect the password.  They would like to add text, then password - protect only one field so it is hidden for other departments that examine this PDF file.  Admin must copy either visible to them when they enter their password.

    The script that I found works really well (see below).  I created a button to hide the script, and when you click it, it locks and unlocks the "Internal comments" text field with the password.  However, I can't figure out how to HIDE the 'internal comments' field after someone in the Admin entered their information.   I tried setting up a field to show/hide action, but I can't make it work.  And I'm not enough common sense to know how to change the Javascript code.

    How can I specify that the 'internal comments' field remains HIDDEN when a user enters his password to 'disable this field' and VISIBLE when they enter a password to "activate this field? '

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Show/hide fields based on the drop-down list

    Hello

    I'm trying to show/hide subforms with a drop-down list selection. I found a lot of information on the subject and ended up with what my script:

     form1.Page1.Division::exit - (JavaScript, client)

    switch (Page1.Division.rawValue)
    {
       case "1":

       SubformZZI.presence = "hidden";
       SubformZZR.presence = "visible";
          break;
    }

    However, it does nothing when a selection is made in the drop-down list. I have the "SubformZZI" initially defined as 'Visible' and the 'SubformZZR', originally defined as "hidden".

    Any suggestions?

    Kind regards

    Check if the form is saved in dynamic form. File-> save as and choose dynamic for the type of shape...

    Other that that, you should check if you have given the values for the selection of the drop-down list as '1' and '2' in the tab of the control's binding.

    Thank you

  • Links that show/hide layers?

    Hi all

    I created a file in InDesign cs4 is pretty much a guide for users of my liveCicle form. I have a lot of layers in the file.

    I'm doing some links to pictures that are in its own layers. So when I export the file to PDF and click on some link, layer associated with this link appears. I tried to do this in acrobat 9 pro. I created links, but the problem is that the links in the work of the non visible layers behind the stage when I fly over.

    Is there a way to set the layer visibility in inDesign CS4?

    Thanks in advance

    Not you can´t toggle layer visibility with buttons in indesign. You must finish in Acrobat...

    Only way to make something appear or disappear in ID is to use show/hide the action buttons...

    You can convert these images you want to show and hide buttons. Then you can create a different buttons to show or hide.

    If you export to PDF format, default state of a button can be hidden...
