  Look at this file downloaded timetable, what is its file extension. The last 3 letters.
  If it is txt.
  Open your wordpad application > at the top of the file > open > use the pointer, and then select "text document (* txt) > navigate to the calendar file, select it > open."
  Now you should be able to read the calendar.
  If it is .rtf
  You should be able to open it with wordpad. Simply select Rich Text Format (* rtf).

  I'm glad that you have solved your printing problem. If the problem recurs, do not hesitate to post back.

  As a possible explanation, looks like you had a faulty cartridge or the low ink level. Part of solving the problems of print quality is to try another cartridge that you already have and it resolved the problem. A cartridge bad or low ink level can cause horizontal stripes in images either because it doesn't have enough ink or it has problems, releasing the ink. If the lower part of the page is cut off, then it looks like the cartridge's ink.

  I mentioned the notebook because it is a very basic application that you can print from. Sometimes printing problems are specific to a particular application and printing from Notepad allows you to isolate the problem.   Whenever I have use arrows etc., makes the letters and numbers coming up, not on every key shot but on say every second. The pad also tends to spit out the wrong numbers so intermittently, in word, excellent and other programs. The correct keyboard is selected. The arrow towards the low tends to do the to come as the right arrow brought a up arrow to the left is and the up arrow seems ok.

  If you have already restored the laptop back to factory settings and checked the correct keyboard layout the case is clear, your keyboard is faulty and should be replaced by a new one.

  Satellite L500 is a fairly new model, so it must be covered by the warranty. Simply contact an authorized service provider and ask that:

  Try to send an email with the account disabled.  A prompt should appear informing that the password is incorrect, and asking you to enter the right pair.  It is a rather messy workaround solution, but it worked for me.  See you soon.

  Check what happens when you use the on-screen keyboard. If it works fine here so you can check using another keyboard.
   
   
  Method 2.
  If the problem persists using a keyboard screen ion then run the sfc scan and check.
  Use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file.
   
  To do this, follow these steps:
  a. open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click programs, accessories principally made, right-click Guest, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.
  b. type the following command and press ENTER:
  sfc/scannow
  
  The sfc/scannow command. analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.
