  Please post on the Forums of NOR. Unfortunately, we are unable to upgrade to version 2.5.0 of the 1.1.1 cd. However, if you have your serial number, you can download the evaluation version of 2.5.0 section and activate it with your serial number and the computer. • Unknown problems with my Satellite P100-221

  Hello all;

  My laptop Toshiba PC100-211 will not work properly and because the customer service is very far from my location, so first I want to understand if the problem is due to a software or hardware failure so decide to manage.

  I've listed my observations and difficulties in list below:

  (1) internet connection very slow irregular (I checked my internet connection with my friend's cell phone is ok, so the problem causes by my laptop)

  (2) sometimes unreadable screen (yellow traps and sometimes mathematical identical symbols as radical, @,...) in this case the message that windows cannot start no t properly appeared, and then I have to start my laptop in safe mode.

  (3) 4 months ago when I connected to the internet, found the connection problem with the sound as chick chick and I couldn't type the address because the default address is hide constantly and appear and can not select it (now I don't have this problem)

  (4) sometimes the system hung with black screen and no action and I have no chance with the exception of the removal of the battery and restart the computer.
  In this case if I leave it for a long time all of a sudden irregular noise out.

  I used my laptop recovery CD but still I am facing this problem. I'm not sure that I have to reinstall new windows for my laptop (because of the message) or it is a hardware problem (graphics card, modem,...) I have called Toshiba customer service (3 hours driving from my place) and they informed me that they will check and if they find any hardware problem, that they cannot do anything because we bought in the Middle East and we now live in K.L, East Asia!

  I find your model of laptop Satellite P100-211 and not PC100-211.
  Is this good? The model number is placed at the bottom of the unit you can check it again.

  With regard to the unique points:

  (1) what connection are you using? WLan or LAN?
  You said its hollow; how little it is? You have values? Have you contacted your ISP that provides access to the internet?

  If you are using WLan, then you should try to update the BIOS and the WLan card driver in many cases, it helps to settle such questions

  (2) possibly it of a question of Windows operating system, if you need safe mode.
  Maybe a new installation of the OS would be useful to know what causes this problem.

  (3), it s really hard to say what s this might be or what caused this problem but it this issue is no longer seen so don t be worried ;)

  (4) as I recommended in the point 1) trying to update BIOS and perhaps a graphics card driver.

• Modbuss problem with Labview 12 DURATION

  Hey guys / girls.

  I have a labview.exe work created with Labview 12 on a PC with the completely installed verstion LV12

  As I said created and built and tested again on the pc

  On another pc I just installed labview RT and the exe to bed

  the program consist of modbus

  but it does not work.

  Y at - it an additional package, I need to add more to the Runtime to get my Modbuss to work

  additional information:

  I tried two different com Modules while both B & B electronics is with drivers other works out of the 232/485 with drivers troubleshooting

  It is on Win 7 32 bit labview is 12 32-bit

  What modbus library are you using? DSC or VISA? You have the runtimes for what you use.

• unknown problem with my internet connection

  Internet on my laptop (a toshiba pslc0e-00900den running windows vista) decided that he dosnt want to work more. It was working perfectly well one day and the next, just die.

  specifically, Opera internet explore and safari all return him could not load screens page when I try and open them while windows tells me that I am connected to the internet and when I click on diagnose connection problems, it does not find a problem. and the network and sharing Center says that I'm connected to the internet. and I have the computer/globe icon in the lower corner.

  What akes is this harder than two other laptops, one running vista and other Windows 7 both have no problem with the same broadband connection and I haven't touched any of the settings.

  1. did you of recent changes on the computer?
  2. What is the exact error message that you receive in internet explore?
  3. do you have security software installed on the computer?

  It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer are blocking access to internet in normal mode.

  Method 1

  Check if the computer gets a valid IP address.

  1. open the network and sharing Center by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, click network and Internet, click network and sharing Center.
  2. under connection, click view status.
  3. click on Details.
  Your computer's IP address appears in the value next to "IPV4 IP address" column.

  Continue with the steps only if the computer has a valid IP address below.

  Check if the problem persists in mode safe mode with networking.

  Steps to start in safe mode with networking

  1 restart your computer if it is running.
  2. press the F8 key after your initially on powers computer.
  3. Once you see the menu Advanced Startup Options , you can stop tapping.
  4. use the up/down arrow keys to highlight your selection.
  5. Select Safe Mode with network and press enter.
  6. you should see loading drivers and wait please.
  7. you should then be at the Welcome screen.
  8. connect to your computer using an account with administrator privileges.

  Method 2

  If the problem does not persist in mode safe mode with network, then perform the clean boot and check.

  Update the drivers of network card for the last, only if you do not get a valid IP address.

  And using other different sizes of subgroup, the freq agrees with waveform... Why when you use the size of subgroup of 5, it does not give good playback? Is there a theory or a reason for this? or just a bug with the LabVIEW function?

  A VI is fixed and the default values are loaded.

• Modbus tcp 1.2 problem with labview 8.5

  I have a new upcoming project that involves a link to modbus tcp.  I downloaded version 1.2 of the modbus library and installed.  Everything appears on my palette, but if I try to open one of the examples he comes as for version 8.6.  I am currently using 8.5 but the download says it works all the way back to 7.1.  Any ideas?

  Are you sure that you have selected the correct folder for the "installation"? When you download the 1.2 OR Modbus Library (here: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/4756), you get a zip file. Inside this file, you will see 4 folders, one for LabVIEW 7.1, (issue 71), one for LV 8.2 (case 82) and also records 85 and 86. So make sure that you have done the installation with the correct folder.

• Problem with Labview communication with Arduino Uno

  I tried to run a simple program in labview through my Arduino Uno R3 all morning and keep running into the same problem: no response from my Board of Directors. I'll catch you up on what I've done so far:

  -flashed LIFA Base to my Arduino
  -Downloaded the driver update of VISA

  written-a the block diagram (I hope) for a led on off function

  When I run the program in labview, the RX flashing intermittent, continue for 30 seconds before stopping. The led on pin 13 is not turned off as it should, and I have no control over the power function light. I also tried a program of control of servo with no response and the same flash of RX. Never the TX flashes.

  I am quite stuck, so any help is greatly appreciated. Also I'm not a comp sci guy, I'm just an engineer in mechanics with a half of C++ so keep pg when it comes to the language of the computer.

  I've attached a picture of my diagram of LED, see if you can spot a problem.

  SOLVED: Reset the Arduino card after that labview had sent his orders (while the RX light was still flashing). Works like a charm.

• How can pass data to a version of exe with LabVIEW?

  I have an application that allows to launch one or more instances of the same executable using "system Exec' VI, false option" wait until the end? My problem is I want to transmit a different value for each instance, to an input parameter. Something like that if you launch notpad.exe, followed by a file name.   Passing parameters to the command line in a LabVIEW application is actually quite simple.

  There are 2 things you need to do:

  -Change the specification to build exe of LabVIEW to move all command line arguments to the application

  -Read the property App.Args that returns an array of strings for the parameters - the first parameter is always LabVIEW.exe.

  Here, I've read the arguments ignore the LabVIEW.exe and then read a path as the first argument and the check, it exists and there is also an option '-choose ' parameter that determines whether to show the user interface.

• Problem with LabVIEW 9.0f2 and VISA 5.0 on Mac OS x 10.6

  I'm using MacOSX 10.6 and Labview 9.0f2. I installed the lates VISA (5.0.0) drivers, as they are the only support OSX 10.6.

  Now, I try to run the "basic series write and read" example and get the following error:

  Error 1073807343 has occurred to the property node (arg 1) visa set up a Serial Port (Instr) .vi-> basic series writing and Read.vi

  Possible reasons: VISA: information about insufficient localization (Hex 0xBFFF0011) or the device or resource is not present in the system.

  As I am a newbie to Labview, I'd appreciate any help on this...

• Problems with labview on TestStand deployment system (usually run without a license of labview)

  I'm trying to deploy a system using testStand for a machine of deployment for the 1st time. I built my Installer and image etc files The files of the installation on the target however machine when I try to run my program in mode operator TestStand I get errors relating to Labview. The only way I can work around this error is to activate a Labview license on the deployment computer, is not viable.

  The error I see when I turn off my Labview license simply indicates that an error has occurred accessing the Labview ActiveX automation server.

  I have included engines of execution etc. in my Installer. As this is my first build is there something obvious I've missed here?

  My first guess is that the setting of the LV adapter on the deployment computer is always set to "LabVIEW development environment". You must change this to "runtime".

• problems with labview 2013 build specification

  I have a few screws of LV2010 I want to use to create an application to run with RTE2013. I have LV2013 on my computer.

  Without a massive compilation of the LV2010 screws, the element of selection of source files in the build specification has no project file to choose and it won't allow me to go looking for.

  Right, you must create a project and put in all of the screws to be included in the compilation - including one that is the top-level VI. Once this is done, you can save the project, just not to re-record the EIS.

  Now you should be able to define your spec to build according to normal.

• In Itunes and adobe reader all the latest versions have problems with the Info button.

  in Itunes no show buttons or the info for them, everything els is here, so the info botton if you move the cursor, if you can't find where they might be. Drive has the same problem but only in printing windo. Using Vista sp2 on a toshiba.

  2. were you able to use iTunes & Adobe Reader correctly previously?

  3. don't you make changes on your computer before this problem?

  If you face this question only in iTunes & Adobe Reader, I recommend you to uninstall the applications of the program & features. Subsequently, reinstall them & check if the problem persists.
