Signature as an administrator

I have two account configured on the computer.  One is my normal account defined as an 'Administrator' account and the other as a guest account.  However, I am trying to install McAfee and even though I'm connected under my account normal it says I need to be logged on as administrator.  I'm doing it, but I don't know how to do this.  Any advice?

-Lost Vista administrator

Right click on setup.exe from McAfee > run as admin.

See you soon.

  • Signature as a Director & administrator password

I have Windows XP, Service Pack 3.  While trying to solve some problems with my computer, it asks me to log on as an administrator and enter the administrator password.  I don't know how to do this, or if an administrator password was already implemented.  Any ideas?

Simply log in using the built-in Administrator account (it cannot be deleted) using start > run > 'control userpasswords2' to change the desired accounts.  You are prompted to create a password for this account when you initially installed WinXP.

By design, the only way to connect to the administrator account on Windows XP Home is to restart in Mode without failure.  For WinXP Pro, by pressing CTRL + ALT + DELETE twice at the Welcome screen will produce the standard login dialog box.  The owner deliberately unless the value password to the administrator via the Management Console (_not_ Control Panel), there
probably still a Virgin.  WinXP Pro ask the installer to set the administrator password during installation, but WinXP Home does not work.

Failing, Linux-based password cracking utility abound on the Internet, available for free to anyone who can use Google.

  • Non-administrator iTunes install

    Hi all

I am a network administrator and all our users have no administrator rights. Also, it is not possible to give them Admin rights.

With the latest version of iTunes, the installation seems to require a little final configuration at the start of the user after installation of iTunes as administrator. When the program starts it comes up with an error "the file is denied due to the strategy of digital signature". "."

In the past, I always installed as administrator and logged as a user, open iTunes and it was very good (summer work like that for 4 years).

All of our PCs and laptops are running Windows 7 at the moment and it is not possible to give the user temporary admin rights.

I have searched other posts for more than a week, but can't find an answer to my question.

    I hope someone can help

    Kind regards

    Gary C.

During the first launch iTunes in the user account you can use the right click > run as Administrator option? Alternatively you can run iTunes in the administrator at the end of the installation account? What file is rejected? So apparently no one can help me...

I found a solution to disable the verification of digital signature in Windows 7, but for that you have to open CMD as administrator.
Guess what, same CMD refuses to open, because it does not recognize the digital signature...

How to turn off this thing until I throw my PC in the trash...

  • Create a continuous Signature of computer Info

I suggest that all the posters to this forum to add a signature at the end of their posts so that people who are trying to help with problems will not need to ask for this information over and over again and this causes a delay and additional assignments of the request response and vice versa.

I found on other computer forums which signatures are of great help.  Everyone who reads any thread will know immediately after the signing that they have similar systems/software and possibly even problems or solutions.

    Thank you

  • I can't install service pack 3 for Win XP because my computer says that I am not allowed - see my administrator.

I'm starting to load sp 3 and she's going through the installation but, by the end, a box appears that says that I'm not allowed and see my administrator.  It is a single computer; I sign as administrator (I even tried signature the administrator mode without failure).  SP 2 has been installed without any problems.   How can I solve this problem to install SP 3?

I read somewhere that if this computer was used as a test for SP3 Beta site, it could be causes of the problem.  Does anyone know if this is true, and if so, how can I know if my computer has been used for the test.  I have no notes, but there is something in the back of my mind that says that several years ago, I sign up as a beta Test site.

  • * Switching user EDITED * accounts when it not an account administrator and user switching welcome screen/fast are off.

I really need help. I am the administrator of the computer, but I'm not connected my admin account, I am connected to a limited account. I need to change the account, but the user function is disabled, and being in a limited account, I can't turn it on. Also, when I was originally in the admin account, I tried to re - turn on the function, but he told me that I couldn't until a program has been uninstalled. Oh, and there is no welcome screen because she wasn't too. Can you help me to activate this function and return to my account or am I trapped forever, never able to access my account admin impossibility?

    * Edited question:

My computer is a professional Windows 2000 XP laptop, and it's me signature automatically on the limited user account. I tried pressing the SHIFT key when you restart the computer, but he did that tell me there was a "stuck key" and I had to stop by pressing and continue. I don't know what was the program that appears when I tried to re - turn on the windows screen, but as soon as I can get to my admin account, I can understand. So far, the advice, they gave me did not. Any other ideas? Thank you

You have left out some important information. What version of XP you, run Home/Pro/Media Center? Are get you connected automatically to your limited user account? If so, then hold down the SHIFT key as Windows starts. Should you get the classic login box and you can enter your own name of user and password. Once in, set the auto paper by doing the opposite of:

Set up Windows to automatically connect (MVP Ramesh) - http://windowsxp.mvps.org/Autologon.htm

If you want to get the welcome back screen, you will need to give the exact text of the error message and just say "a program". The difficulty depends on what "some program" is. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!
