Questions for users confronted with this question:

1. do you have the preview pane enabled in file Explorer?

If so, you can temporarily disable it to see if the problem goes away?

On Windows 8, in Explorer, go to the view tab, and if you press the button "Preview Pane", UN-press it.

On Windows 7, upwards to the right (to the left of the help icon) there is a button "show preview pane." UN-press it.

2. ensure that the following directories exist on your machine. If this isn't the case, please create them:

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\ToolsSearchCacheAcro

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\ToolsSearchCacheRdr

Replace USERNAME with your username.

Is - do this 1 or 2 to solve this problem?

    In the activation window that appears, use your serial number to activate the software.

    Then, try to start again and check.

  • Error 16 ACROBAT PRO XI problem

    Hello

    I tried to install the Acrobat pro XI. But after installation when I tried to launch the application it gave me an error that there is problem with the configuration and should I uninstall and then reinstall the application. I tried that at least 4 times but did not work. I tried to download the new configuration and then tried again and it still doesn't work. Need help.

    Before the DC Acrobat 14 July 2015 update, the interface between the presets 'Create a PDF file using a scanner' has worked well. The selection 'Entry, sides' would work as selected, 'Front-end' would scan simplex and 'Both Sides' duplex scan. Since the update of July 14, 2015, if the predefined selection is 'Face' or ' the two parties, the output is always frontal (simplex).» This was also the case using the "Custom Scan" selection. The workaround for this inability to use presets for scanning two-sided problem is as follows. You must now use the "Custom Scan" selection. Under "Scan", select "Options." under 'Scanner Options - User Interface', select 'Native Interface of the Scanner Show '. In this window the 'Coast' selection will be irrelevant; However, the balance of the "Output" selection applies. Now select "Scan" in this window. The native scanner TWAIN interface opens now. Front or double-sided scanning / will be now selected as well as the colors, resolution, paper size and scan document of entry (dish or document feeder). Select "Scan" in the window of the native interface. The document will now analyse as selected, simplex or duplex, and the native interface window will close leaving the program open Acrobat DC.     Before update on July 14, 2015, would be sufficient to use the Scanner DC Acrobat presets for this. Now, no matter what the selection 'entry-Sides", the scan will be simplex. I understand that this update included integration of the use of 64-bit drivers TWAIN on a MAC system. This integration affected the Acrobat / scanner TWAIN interfacing? It is not the TWO. The interface has worked flawlessly before the update and now works only through a process of manual handling. I never needed to use the native scanner TWAIN interface for scanning and duplex in the older version of Acrobat Pro DC.

    I was buying Acrobat since the 1990s, the upgrade as newer versions release became available, and not what I expect from Adobe, or what should be accepted. Your update of July 14, 2015 has degraded user experience and functionality of the program. Please get this fixed.

  • To the Acrobat Pro XI to the new iMac Macintosh, but now it shows the serial number is not valid.

    Could it please let you me know if you disabled Acrobat XI from the old machine or not.

    You will need to first disable Acrobat (Help menu) from your old computer and then install and activate the software on the new computer using the same credentials of the Adobe ID (by subscription) or the serial number (for license) (menu help).

    Please note that you can activate an Acrobat subscription or license on maximum two computers (a desktop computer at work and laptop at home for example)

    If you need to install Acrobat on the third computer, then you will first need to disable any old computers, so there is no problem with installation.

    Please let me know if you did the same way.

  • Power on the Satellite Pro 3000 problem

    Wives Satellite S3000 has developed what appears to be a power problem

    Last night it started indicating that he doesn't have the power of the DC input... This seemed to be a fault of internittent stirring casued DC input light to return cable. Taking the DC Jack off main cable, I discovered that one of the two pins was broken.

    Is out today and bought a new 5.5mm/2.5mm DC Jack and reconnected thinking that everything would be OK... but there is no response from the laptop... the DC input light does not come on and neither does the indicator "charging battery".

    A multimeter indicates there is 19v DC decision-making.

    It seems to me that there may be an internal power problem. Otherwise there may be a problem with the power with respect to the current delivery.

    A battery totally buggered may this "non-response"? I expect the laptop to operate on DC power regardless of the internal State and secondary battery.

    Ideas appreciated... will see if I can alternative power source and try it before resorting to delve into the bowels of the thing!

    The laptop should run without battery. If the adapter is ok and if it was connected to the laptop, then it should be possible to start the machine.

    If the laptop does not start, then it must be a hardware problem.
    But believe me; It's not easy to say what exactly is the problem.

    Maybe you bought only a bad power adapter that is not compatible with the Sat Pro 3000?
    Or maybe there is something wrong with the electronic power supply on the motherboard?
    Who knows?  :| Only the technician who checked the laptop can provide an exact error diagnostic.
