Silent printing to PDF from projector

Does anyone know of a component, or any other method, which will allow silencers for printing a PDF of a projector?   I prefer not to present the PDF to the user for printing.

Thank you

Marion

It is may be feasible using air but not a projection file.

Until a few days ago I was able to print a PDF from Acrobat Reader ms in Windows 7.  Now I get "the document could not be printed."  The next panel says "there are no pages selected to print," even if all the pages have been selected.  I've uninstalled Reader and reinstalled, but the problem remains.  I also tried to repair the installation and that doesn't work anymore.

Thanks for the tip.  It turned out that kind Reader has been commissioning in protected mode.  I changed the setting and it prints now as before.

  • How can I print to PDF from the browser window.

When I try to print to PDF from a browser window (tried Firefox and IE), nothing happens.  However, I am able to send the same window to an agreement of the printer. I am able to print to PDF for local applications (e.g.excel, Word) very well.  I am running Windows 7 on a HP Pavilion dv7j laptop.  Please notify.  Thank you.

If you do not have Adobe Acrobat (should not be confused with Adobe Acrobat Reader), you do not use the Adobe PDF printer and check out support for any PDF printer you use. Adobe Acrobat Reader does not install a PDF printer.

  • HP ENVY 4507: Envy 4500 only prints a PDF from PC

OK, so this is the 4th or 5th time I posted on this useless printer. Now for almost 6 months. And 3 different HP printers. I can only print from PC in pdf format. If I select a word doc or printing online. The printer icon loads and that's it. It does nothing else. There is none of the queues. I'm so fed up with it. I will never buy a HP item ever. Includng the desktop PC, I was sold as a gaming PC. With a 545GT graphics card. I can barely stay on the line as overheating but it's a whole different story lol., I just want to do what I did with each printer ther I used. Press on print and it prints. Why are there 2 profiles? Series 4500 and 4500 networking. I have uninstalled re-installed and tried all the work around known to humanity. Wil still only print to PDF files and nothing else. Please can you help me. This is my last attempt to fix this printer. In the case of failure embarks on a garbage depot. I used to promote HP products, but not more. They have dropped the ball. Cheap and nasty with components not conforming to standards hidden inside the material. Made in China is a big attention I'm afraid.

    Kind regards

    Hi @zookeeperz,

I read your post and see that the printer will only print the PDF documents. Usually, it's the opposite. I want to help you.

You use the latest drivers? Here is a link if you need it. HP ENVY 4500 e-All-in-One Printer full feature software and drivers series.

If the printer is listed as the 4500 series and the networking of 4500, then most likely the USB and a network driver are both installed for the printer. It is in the devices window and printers?

Download and run the print and Scan Doctor, he will diagnose the problem and could solve it automatically.

I suggest to install a generic driver to see if you have the same results.

On the computer, go to start, devices and printers, right-click on your printer and select printer properties.

Click the Advanced tab and click new driver, and then click Next.

HP Deskjet 9800 by selecting in the list or the Deskjet 990c printer, click Next, Finish, and apply the settings.

(you can always go back and revert to the original printer driver)

How is the printer connected? (USB, Ethernet, WiFi)

What were the results when you ran the Print and Scan Doctor? (she print or scan, error messages)

If you appreciate my efforts, please click on the "Thumbs up" button below.
Please let me know the results. Thank you.

  • Distorted fonts print to PDF from Internet Explorer 11

When I print in PDF since IE11, my fonts are completely foires.

I use IE11 on Windows 7 running Acrobat XI.

This is what my embedded fonts look like:

    fonts.jpg

When I started IE8, it prints fine and appropriate fonts are included.

What happens here? Is there a known issue with IE11 and printing in PDF format?

    Thank you.

I assume that you are complaining about the names of the fonts as they appear in the PDF file, is not how the characters are rendered.

He is a very known issue.

The problem is that IE11 is a Windows WPF application that creates XPS instead of GDI. The XPS is converted into GDI before being transmitted to the PostScript driver. Nothing Adobe can do about it. IE8 is a GDI application and therefore does not suffer from this problem! XPS obscures the names of fonts, and that's what's causing what you see. Complain to Microsoft!

  • Office Jet Pro: printing a PDF from an email

Brand new laptop (Pavilion), new printer (Officejet Pro 6830)

I can extract the files and print them, I can print emails. I CAN'T print a PDF file that was sent to me by e-mail.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks for larifying.

I assume you are using MS Reader to view the PDF.

If you do not have Adobe Reader installed I propose installation and its use, which should solve a good number of these issues.

When installing, be sure to set the program as the default player, and find a difference.

You can download WAA player below:

  • I can't print to PDF from other programs.  I have Acrobat 9 (with the last update), Windows 8 and when I try to print a *.prn file in PDF format by default, and does not open when I change the name of *.pdf file it produces.

I can print to PDF with PDF995, but not the ordinary Adobe PDF that appears in the list of printers.

I tried to repair the installation of Adobe, but that did not help.

Go to the options of the printer and clear the checkbox "print to file".

  • Print to PDF from MS Office: loss of hyperlinks that display text changed

    Greetings.

I use to Acrobat Pro. 8.1.7 and MS Office 2007.

I don't know if it's an Acrobat or a problem of MS Office or somewhere between the two.

I need to print a document in a PDF with hyperlinks Excel.

Creation of hyperlinks in Excel is no problem.

If I print to PDF (using the printer driver Adobe PDF Converter), the hyperlink appears and works in the PDF file. No problem.

But I need to change the display text of the link - instead of a URL, I need to display a name "user friendly".

    Problem.

If I change the link in Excel and change the displayed text, the link works in Excel, no problem.

But when I print to PDF link is lost.  I get pretty blue underlined text but binding information is not embedded in the PDF file.

    Problem!

I experienced and did some research, but nothing so far.

    Any ideas?

    Help!

    Thank you

    Greg

The links you see in the PDF are likely links is not difficult, but think what Acrobat are links. This is what happens when you print to the Adobe PDF printer. If you want to keep the links in the original form, you will need to use PDF Maker (or may be listed as create PDF) in Excel. The end result must be a PDF file with the links that appear in the same way as in Excel.

  • Print to PDF from Photoshop

I have a problem when printing from Photoshop PFD. My image size is 7 "x 10" and when I I view it in the preview window before printing (I add crop marks) looks like a fine print on 8.5 "x 11". Once printed, the image is reduced to about 1/10 of the size and is located in the upper left corner of the sheet of letter size. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? Thank you!

You can import the image into illustrator or indesign and save it like that.

    Here's an autour work:

Certainly, Photoshop does not bleed. Just create your canvas to allow the amount of desired purge. For example, if you want to print on 8.5 x 11 with bleed and you don't souhaitiez.25 inc to bleed, the size of your canvas to 9x11.5

Then when you are ready to save the file to be transferred to the printer, you will need to do the following...

    (1) get a PDF printer driver - I use CutePDF Writer

    (2) to flatten your image (remember to save a copy with a different name before you flatten or you will lose all your layers!)

    (3) click on print (you must print on the disc, not on a printer. End result is to create a print ready file on your disk to transfer your pre-press shop)

    (4) in the settings, select EXIT. Select 'corner cropmarks.

You must also set the 'Bleed '. It should be equal to the size of your work plan under your print size.

    -janelle

Finally and importantly, you need to change the layout of your printer driver settings to match the size of your work plan. Choose "Postscript Custom Page" and change the settings of the Custom (default) letter and enter the size of the artboard (example, if your work plan is 9.5x12 enter only)

  • M467DN MFP: Duplex printing to PDF from Flash DRIVE

Does anyone know if its possible to print double face of a PDF file on a memory stick? We have a printer stand alone in the Church that doesn't have a connected pc and every week that the service order is printed on it using the copy function, I tried to use a pdf file of the document on a USB key, but couldn't the printer to print on both sides of the paper and two leaves can get out. Ive looked through all the menus, but can't find anything that can be useful.

    I'm not familiar with a model M467DN MFP - you mean M476dn.

I don't have one of those, but I have access to the previous model M475dn.

With this model, it is possible to value action print Duplex by default either on Offprinter:

This is done via the integrated Web server - so you'd need a computer connected to do - I don't think the menu façade system offers the possibility.

Even with the option set to On, it is only a printer default - if it will be supplanted by any printer "orders" in a print job entering that specifies the mode of plex - do most of the work, but not all.

... and this is probably a PDF 'Walk Up' on USB - I do not know whether or not they have all internal ' properties' to identify the required mode of plex, or not.

  • VBS silent printing won't work with drive X 1

    Hello

For nearly a year I used a VBS script to open and 'silent print' a PDF to the default printer - the script continues to work on machines using drive X but with drive x 1 I see a message saying that the path is not valid

    Set oWsh = CreateObject ("Wscript.Shell")

    oWsh.run ' "" AcroRd32.exe"" / p/h ' & 'C:\MostRecent\MostRecent.pdf",,true '.

The real message is, 'there was an error opening this document; the file name, volume name, or volume label syntax is incorrect. "

I can paste the address C:\MostRecent\MostRecent.pdf in windows Explorer and adobe correctly opens the file and I can print it then manually.

I would point out that this script vbs has worked for a long time before reader X 1 set to day - my client will not consider return to older readers of adobe

Any ideas or advice from someone?

    Hello

Thanks for the advice, I have now managed to get this working using the following script... It is good with Adobe Reader X 1 and Adobe Reader DC...

    Set oWsh = CreateObject ("Wscript.Shell")

    «AcroRd32/h/p, C:\MostRecent\MostRecent.pdf",,true» oWsh.run

Thanks to pseudonymous Test and Bernd Alheit for their advice
